Notebook HP 2000 EP

My hard drive has been formatted; all, recovery and everything. I went to reinstall Win 8 on it from a CD that I have it all the way go through stages where you choose a disk to install on, and a message appears saying; No hard drive detected-install mass storage for the detection of hard disk driver. Can someone please tell me what I need to install and where to find it. It will not install an operating system for the life of me. Help, thanks.

I think the better you run a test drive in the BIOS and see what it reports.

As I have previously stated, special drivers shouldn't be necessary, and even if they were, those that I have attached must have worked.

I have this laptop HP 2000-2121TU running windows 8.1 update 1 32-bit. I want to improve my RAM. I've already posted a question about it & I got to know that this model can be upgraded to 8 GB max, but versions 32 bits can address up to 4GB of RAM. So I need extra 2GB Ram. So can someone advice me who buy RAM like kingston, transcend etc company & my RAM preinstalled is 2 GB of DDR3 Ram, so I need to buy 2 GB memory DDR3 or DDR2? I'm also confused in DDR3 & DDR2.

    Help, please.

  • notebook HP 2000: pink screen

My upper screen of the tower is broken so I hooked a hp monitor to it and I clicked on extend and now it is all pink. How can I get that back. I've been in some menus, but don't know what it was. someone has an answer. Help!

    Hello @lostinpink,

    Thanks for the reply.

Here is a link to the maintenance and service guide. On page 13 it shows the keyboard at the top, you will see symbols in circles. The 4th from the left is the project screen icon (a box in the middle with a vertical line on each side).

After the hard reset, the computer sounds like it will continue to boot? If it isn't...

    1. wait 2-3 minutes

    2. perform your login as if you could see on the screen (click on enter, enter the password, click Enter again)

    3. wait 1 - 2 minutes

    4. use the project screen and click on it slowly a few times (5seconds between clicks) to see if anything changes.

(If nothing changes try a different display, if this happens with the same result; refer to the post before this one)

Thanks, I look forward to your response with the result.

If this post helped you, feel free to click on the thumbs up!

  • 2000-2b19WN HP: hardware upgrades of HP 2000-2b19WN and replacement - thoughts?

    Hi all

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.  I'm looking to upgrade the cell phone of a member of the family.  Can anyone confirm if this laptop supports the DDR3L (low voltage) RAM?  The specification indicates that DDR3.

    Laptop HP 2000-2b19WM product specification
    http://support.HP.com/IE-en/document/c03619178

    Here are my suggested improvements:

    Hard drive:

Current: 320 GB HDD at 5400 RPM

    Update:  V300 120 GB Kingston

    RAM:

    Current: 1 x 4 GB DDR3 PC3-10700

    Update: Hynix, DDR3L 2 x 4 GB PC3 - 12800 1600 MHz

    Battery:

    Current:  DEAD

Update: Battpitt™ Laptop / Notebook battery replacement for HP 2000-140CA (4400 mAh)

    http://www.Amazon.ca/Battpitt-trade-notebook-replacement-2000-140CA/DP/B0073MM7HM/ref=sr_1_1

Y at - it any notion that any of these items could cause and question?  Please let me know and thanks!

It will take 8 GB of memory, and will accept DDR3L-1600, but the memory runs at 1.5 volts and 1066 or 1333 speed because yours is an AMD. In other words, the most recent ememory of low voltage runs 1.35 volts or 1.5. However, insofar as it's more expensive, it is the kind of waste of money. I would get the DDR3-1600 memory and I would look for low density (8 black blocks of memory rather than 4).

The SSDS works perfectly. It will be a replacement battery.

  • Switchable Graphics does not

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion g6t-2000 who has dual graphics cards.  I bought this laptop with this specific graph Radeon HD 7670 M map for use with ProPresenter 5.

However, I can see the graphic card installed in my device manager, but I can't access it from my DirectX application.  Furthermore, when I right click on the Windows desktop and select "Configure Switchable Graphics", I get an error message indicating that ' Catalyst Control Center cannot be started and that there are no configurable properties... ". »

What is the problem?  I already double checked all my drivers, BIOS, etc are up to date.

    Thank you.

    Matt

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion Notebook g6t-2000 issues and to have with your graphics controller. Here is a link to page of the driver Hp. I recommend you to uninstall the drivers and then go to the link to install the last right of HP.

    It will be useful.
