• Icon lost bbm blackBerry Smartphones after update 6.1.0.71

  Hi, first of all, I am new to blackberry, then so not know much about them, I bought my 9800 on network o2 uk a few weeks ago, until this morning everything was fine, when I updated messenger blackberry to v.6.1.0.71, once rebooted I had lost my bbm icon, is showing as installed in the application manager , I've deleted and reinstalled several times without success, please could someone help me to recover my bbm?

  Thank you for your help, I tried to delete - reboot - reinstall nothing helped, I finished restoring the factory settings, and then software update operating system via the Desktop Manager before you attempt to upgrade from bbm, all now works well again...

  Cure found... I hope...

  I don't have the technical knowledge - no knowledge at all - so I can't explain why this solution, on the whole, worked:

  I disengaged the cellular network and then deleted the bbm application, then played reset material, re-installed the bbm on the BB site (not via appworld - doesn't like that), then disengaged the network once again, performed a hard reset, recommit to the network and everything returned to normal - the icon of bbm is alive again.

  Hello, is it possible to have threaded messages on the Bold 9900? I've seen solutions download an app like CrunchSMS? Why the hell BB would change this mode appears on my phone that is all my messages on top and whoever I'm with on SMS background. I hope there is a simple solution for this?

  During a bbm chat the color of the icon (in lisitng times by email and bbm) changed cat to the Green, I have other things going on, and they have not changed color.  is that what I did or they did?

My requirement is to manage the sms sent from a blackberry smartphone like finding the number of SMS messages sent, the destination not like that. I tried running messagelistener, sendlistener and outboundmessagelistener, but something did not work well. So can someone please help me to solve my problem?

  FYI: 1. I've implemented outboundmessagelistener but couldn't find a way to add this port for listening to my request.

  2. I set up sendlistener and added to my application of the method SMS.addSendListener which does not also carry out my requriement.

  So, please help me if you have an idea in these aspects.

• BlackBerry Smartphones SMS msgs. logging is no longer in my msg folder.

  You are facing constraints of memory in your device. Perform the following steps-

  1. Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 sec.
  2. Check the amount of memory is free in your device to Options -> status -> free memory. To view all aspects of database go to Option -> status -> click on the Menu button and then select the database size
  3. Remove the less frequently used application. To remove go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete-> click Menu , and then select Remove

• Symbol of notification blackBerry Smartphones SMS MMS TMobile 8320

  I checked my text messages this morning and found a new symbol on the upper left side of my screen.  It is a black circle with an arrow in the it downwards to the left.  This symbol also has the number 1 beside him.  I've never seen this before symbol/notification.  I looked through my manual and the owner couldn't find the symbol in there.

  I don't have a new text messages and I already checked myBB messenger to see if there are new messages in there and it was empty.  I always check my messages through my SMS MMS icon on my phone.

  Open your Messages folder > Menu > compose SMS.

  Look at the Messages > Menu > Options > General Options > SMS and e-mail address must be separate.

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your homescreen, one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  The main Messages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date

  I have a notification icon on my BB Storm I had never seen before and was hoping that someone could tell me what it's for.  It has a number 1 next to it, and it's a circle with an arrow pointing down and to the left.   I don't think that there is an API for this for 4.5 and below. Your Pearl 8100 with OS 4.5 can display the icon notification such as incoming messages and calls because they were developed using the internal API of RIM which are not exposed to third-party developers.
