I knew how to put custom ringtones that I had as a ringtone of notification on the Backflip but this trick seems to not work on the atrix. We cannot do this, or is it some ways to do this?

Who exactly did not for me because it is not a music selection option when I was in the title of the notification ringtone. What I did to make it work was move the ringtone to the internal memory of the phone, and then once I went to the title of the notification ringtone This is. Thank you for sending me in the right direction.

Check if you set ringtones for specific contacts. A framework for a specific contact overrides the default setting.

For the time being to uninstall all ring your apps Associates (including ringo lite).

If you go to Menu-> settings-> sounds and ringtones-> Notification ringtone can't change the tone of your notifications?

If you go to Menu-> settings-> sounds-> ringtone ringtones can change you the tone for your default ringtone?

If this is not the case, try:

Turn the phone off and then on again. You can change the tone now?

With your phone, remove the battery, leave it for a minute, put the battery back and power on the phone. You can change the tone now?

If these two do not work, you should try a factory data reset. Make sure you know the email address used for Motoblur and the password. You can check by logging on to the site of Motoblur. If you have purchased any brand of apps that you use the same gmail account when you set up your phone because your google account out of the market is bound to this address.

  • Change notification ringtones

    Hello

I have the Droid X, have sought, but impossible to find a solution.

I use Zedge and set ringtones for text and e-mail. I make the adjustment, and it has the proper sound when I select. However, once the selection click on the back button and the ringtone always resets to the notification ringtone, that I set Menu button, settings, Notifications, sound, Notification ringtone. Because I saw nothing after searching this forum, I guess that is not a bug and I do something wrong, or there is a problem if I install Zedge.

    Any ideas?

In case it helps someone else, looks like the rings in the folder Zedge was the problem. I have created a folder Notifications in the sd card, copied the Zedge ringtones, then restarted. When I selected ringtones from apps (text or e-mail) they are now configured properly.

  • Length of passport notification ringtone blackBerry

I use songs for notifications to phone and text. When a call or text comes through the Bell only lasts five seconds or so, barely the time to hear and answer. How to increase the length of the ringtone?

    Hello

Time she rings before going to voicemail (which is I think what you ask the subject) is determined by your mobile provider, not by the device. Some carriers allow a user-specific dial string to change, for others, you need their ring up and ask. I don't know which of these, your carrier falls in, so ring them for advice.

If this isn't what you mean, so please clarify.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Why I cant find saved e-mail or general notification ringtones ringtones?

Hi and thanks for your support!    I recorded a few ringtones for my Motorola DROID to sync from computer. I created a folder in Astro Manager of files called ringtones - logical right?  In any case, now these ringtones are only available under the ringing phone and NOT of Notifcation Ringtone or ringtone Email.  Any ideas?  Thanks again

For ringtones will appear under notifications, you will need to create a folder called "Notifications" and copy your ringtones.  You will be able to use them as notifications and for email.

  • Ringtones/notifications

Where are the notifications/ringtones stocks? Calendar and Contacts show me a list of files that I copied to/storage/emulated/0/Ringtones, but they don't show any of the pre-installed sound files. Notification of calendar is actually still on "Default ringtone (Droid Notification)", but if I ever change that by selecting one of my sounds, I don't see how I'll be able to restore.

I wonder if there is a default value defined in an application that you can't see the default sounds. The best way to find out would be to tap Settings > applications > Menu > reset the application preferences. If you do this, remember that all the default values on the phone will be reset. It is not a major event, you just choose your default settings for all again once you open files with different applications.

There is an application called 'Default App Manager Lite' which will show you all the defaults set on the phone for each app using this app you can understand that is the app you can't see the default sounds. Please let me know if this helps or not. HTH

  • DROID: Notification of only ringtone for text messages, no e-mail?

I get a ton of emails, and rarely, if ever, require my immediate attention. Text, on the other hand, almost always require my immediate attention but only the figure about ~ 10 per day.

I want to do is continue to get Visual notifications in the Notification area to the new texts and e-mails. But I want only the phone to play the Notification ringtone for text messages, no e-mail.

Is it possible to disable or silence the Notification ringtone just for e-mail?

Or what about different ringtones (with different volumes) to the texts and emails?

    tony7682,

You can select email, then menu > settings to change to a silent ringtone. You can then go to the e-mail settings and select any ringtone you like.

  • Is it possible to use other ringtones for notification?

I was able to download ringtones and they work on the phone, but is anyway to do this with notification ringtones?  Basically, I despise the ringtones of notification which came with the phone and want to use others.

Yes, there is.  Just enter the keywords "notification ringtones" in the area of research at the top of the forum page and you will get a list of threads that were previously discussed.

  • Sounds of Notification IPhone 6s on the LockScreen with IOS 9.3.5

I have 6 s IPhone with IOS 9.3.5 and I am facing problem Sound Notifications on the lock screen. Message appears, but there is no sound. In the unlocked mode, notification sounds work as usual. I checked the following:

    1. Activating/Deactivating the mute button
    2. Maximizing the notification ringtone.
    3. Donot bother is set to normal, but it is an option that is to activate by default I guess, but I think that could cause the problem either "only when IPhone is locked.

Please help with this problem or a bug. Thank you.

    Hi there, saadmustafa!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reading your post, I understand that notification sounds do not play while the screen of your iPhone is locked. This happens even if do not disturb is not on the side switch is not engaged and the ring volume turned all the way to the top. I rely on my iPhone every day to stay in touch, so I know that it is important to be able to hear notifications when they are received; I'd be happy to help you!

The "Silence: only while the iPhone is locked ' feature will only apply when do not disturb is activated. If you do not do not disturb, I can see on your screen is the case, this feature will not affect your notification sounds. There could be a number of other things that affect it, however, so I have a few troubleshooting steps you can try to help fix this problem. Give a try at each step, test your notification on the lock screen sounds once each is completed.

    1. Restart your iPhone. You can get instructions on powering the unit turned off and then back on here:
Restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
    2. Reset the settings of your iPhone under settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This will not delete your personal data (contacts, photos, calendar of events, etc.), but he'll be back customizable settings (as your ringtone and a notification alert sounds, wallpapers and view the settings of Date and time, brightness, etc.) to their default values. It will also remove saved network Wi - Fi and passwords, as well as previously used VPN or APN settings.
    3. Back up your iPhone and then restore it to the factory settings. You can find instructions for the backup on iTunes here or iCloud: How to backup your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Once you have a backup, you can get the instructions to restore the iPhone here: use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

Once the restore is complete, configure the iPhone as a new device (i.e. without putting your backup on it, at least temporarily). You can register in iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, iTunes and App Store using your Apple ID. Then test the notification sounds.

    4. If notifications of play while the screen is locked after you set up as new iPhone, you can restore your sauvegardΘ following these instructions: restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    See you soon!

  • RAZR V text notification

I have a smart action implemented to lower the volume at night. However, the "notification ringtone" is apparently not affected by the phone "volume". Is there another way to change the notification ringer volume using a smart action? Or do I have to download a different application to use in conjunction with the active actions?

Alrighty then think, I understood it. Have the low ringtone + actions high vip on the same trigger was not the problem, I had a quite different smartaction which has been conflicted my rule of sleep. Disabled the other rule = more warning of conflict = review throw my phone against the wall for now. These active actions are my most grand/almost the only reason why I have not tried to get rid of this phone yet. And for now... my confidence is restored in them.

  • Ringtone RazrV

I have a ringing tone for voice calls and one for notifications. She's. It is pathetic, even the Motorola krazer phone clamshell had customization features more than that. You may have a separate ringtone for each contact, either calls or texts.

I would like to see contact specific ringtones, and distinct ringtones to text, email, smart notifications of action, ect. Or I'm just something wrong? Does anyone know of an app for that?

To sum up this thread: Contacts on the contact settings page, can have customized ringtones. Applications such as hotmail and gmail also have their own settings to customize the notification ringtone. And almost all games have the ability to cut notificatiins in total. All these customizations must be made from their respective applications. More confusing it must be, because a single intelligent action should be able to differentiate and control these, otherwise I expect to find these settings in the settings of the phone "ringtone" section. But I guess it works too.
