Now that you see the RAM, now you have not

I have a strange problem of RAM: My D10 came with 4 GB of RAM, and shortly after that I bought, 14 months ago about, I added an another 4 GB Crucial RAM. Up until maybe a month ago, the system has seen all the 8 GB with no complaints. But in the last month, half the time the system sees 4 GB and the rest of the time he sees 8 GB. It's totally random.

I get an error of POST 184 - sometimes. I've restored the BIOS default factory - no effect.

I went down the BIOS of 2XKT30 to 2XKT29, thought that might be the problem - nope. I couldn't find all the earlier versions of the BIOS, otherwise I would try them.

I've run Lenovo system Toolbox and MemTest86, which do not show any problem with RAM, if I run when the system recognizes 4 GB or 8 GB.

I uninstalled the RAM and reinstalled (even though in the same locations;) I'm going to try to rearrange the sticks, but I don't have a lot of confidence that will make anything). Any different on it?

I updated my video drivers, thinking maybe that is related. no effect.

I disabled the TPM chip (just struggling at this point). no effect.

Anyone have any better ideas?

It turns out * was * Crucial ram modules. I went back to Crucial RAM (which was excellent, btw) and got the replacement modules; now all the 8 GB appears constantly. Thanks for the tip.
