  Our company currently a problem recently:
  Problem: Impossible to connect to the pc when outside his functions with Active Directory NT profile/account

  When: January 9, 2012 until today

  The frequency at which this happen: intermittently

  Description of the problem/error: there is currently no available connection server to process the logon request

  How many affected system: 4-5 machines with the same laptop model (HP 8540w)

  O.S Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise and Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise Edition with SP1
  Action taken:
  Area return, group update policy, re - create a profile NT, update BIOS, OS reformatting/reinstall.
  Current solution: connect using the profile/account local and use it at home, back in office, reconnect the LAN and able to connect using NT profile/account and retry again at home.
  More information: our company have model HP range and never receive such problem reported except this model. There are a lot of employees using this model too but yet get affected, now here's some machine assigned to the breast in the same Department, but we have identified if all 3rd party software installed which make changes of protocol network or element (no) and still we could not find any same software installed on these machines.
  What I'm looking for
  ?
  I need some experts advise to identify this regardless of whether a customer number or domain server problem, if the customer, what are the root cause and troubleshooting opportunities we should take
  If the server problem, I'll get assistance by opening a case to our server support team.

• authetication affectedly 802.1 x Vlan dynamic by a radius server

  At school, I want to start using authentication for 802. 1 x affectedly Vlan dynamic by Radius Windows Server 2012R2.

  When a student logs in, I want it to be placed in the Vlan 'Students', when an Administrative employee logs in, I want it to be placed in the vlan 'Administrative' and when the client is unknown, I want to place in the Vlan "invited".

  I have several SG200 switches and I have everything configured as described in the administrative guide but I can't make it work as you want.

  What does not work:
  -If the client is authorized, the switch enters the State "authorized". (until someone connects to the domain with this customer)
  -When a user opens a session which is part of the administrative staff, the switch becomes 'authorized' and when a student logs in, it turns into "unauthorized."

  So far so good.

  But what does not work:
  -It does not have the administrative employee in the Vlan 'Administrative', it allows the port of the switch comes, but he leaves in the vlan by default 1.
  -I can't find the VLAN comments.

  Yes you are right, 200 series doesn't support DVA. Only 300 or 500 have this level of the interface settings.

Our problem is that we use Cisco NAC so with assignments of vlan dynamic user will be checked by the NAC. Agent of Cisco sometimes pop up and do nothing to do or give a message cannot locate server.   I use a few AP WNDAP360 for awhile and consider adding a WC7520 controller.

  However, I would use an assignment VLAN dynamic using a RADIUS server.

  Whereas it is possible with the 360 in stand-alone mode, it is clear to me if this can be done by using the WC7520 controller.

  The (obsolete?) reference manual said not a Word to this topic...

  Is there someone to share experiences with the 7520 and this type of configuration?

  After reading the articles you suggested, I was still unable to find a definitive answer, so I asked pre-sales support and quickly received the following response from Tech Support level 2:

  There was a feature request to ask to implement, but it looks like it will not be implemented for the WC7520. Also, there is a feature request for the WC7600 which looks more promising, but still not possible currently and is not guaranteed to be implemented.

  In short: no, it is not possible, will not be on the WC7520 and could become so on the WC7600.

  Too bad, and it makes the much less interesting WC7520 for me, but at least it clearly quickly.

• Windows 7 workstation loses the connection with the Server 2008 "

  Server running Microsoft SBS 2008 Standard.  Second location is the use of Remote Desktop.  These workstations are very good.  Only the workstation in the same place loses the connection periodically.  Workstation can reconnect, but never know when it will drop.  The user has to go to the remote location to know that the work will not be interrupted.

  This particular configuration has worked very well for a few months.  Long story short about 2 weeks after main tech (which has implemented) is deceased in August 2010, there was a major issue.  No one is really sure of what it is, but everything is back up and running just now lovely annoying drop except for this connection.

  I'm scheduled to go on Tuesday.  This is a seasonal business and people we're patient but kind of necessity to deal with this finally.  I am pretty well convinced that this is not the Peachtree program causing the problem.  However, the error indicates that Peachtree is not installed on the server, and yet it is, obviously.  That is why we believe that the connection has been interrupted.

  All this makes sense?  Someone knows the effects of any automatic updates of end of August 2010, which may have caused a situation like this?  I know that currently they don't dare to update Java or something does not work well.  Thought, that you may know of something that happened at that time that could cause this.

  Yes and no. You can do for a WLAN 802.1 x internal, that the customer does not get an IP address, until they have completed the authentication process. To do this, you use 64/65/81, 64 802, 65 VLAN and to 81 use the name of the interface, not the number VLAN. you will also need to make sure you have AAA Overrided activated under the WLAN.

  If, as is said for Web authentication, the answer is no. The client has an IP address before being validated by the AAA server.

  I use a microsoft wired keyboard with windows 7 x 64.  The software/driver provided by microsoft for this configuration (ITPx64_1033_7.00.260.0) does not work correctly.  The software is supposed to programs other than the default value to allow you to reasign dedicated keyboard keys (mail, calculator, etc.).  However, most of them have no effect.  Any ideas?

  with firefox 21, links will not open a new tab, only in the main window. I put the option of opening tab, but it still does not work

  The setting in Firefox/tools > Options > tabs: "new pages should be opened in ': 'a new tab/window' is for links that specify a target window to open the link.
  
  This option allows to divert these links into a new tab instead of a new window.
  
  Links that do not specify a target will open in the current tab if it does not change JavaScript.
  
  If this is not the case then you can have an extension interfere.
  
  For links that do not specify a target, use a middle click or hold down the Ctrl key and click the link or use the context menu to open the link in a new tab or window.
  
  This applies to the bookmarks and other links so that you can click the view Image in the context menu of an image or click on the address bar to get a new tab with this link, the Reload button.
  
  Click on a JavaScript link to avoid having a blank tab.

• Windows 7 64 bit Pro connects to SQL Server on the Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard domain

  I put upgraded to Windows 7 Professional computers to Windows XP Professional, but I have a problem with getting one of software programs management of stock that allows us to connect to our SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Windows on new Windows 7 computers.

  Our computers are connected to a domain, and therefore SQL Server. Computers Windows XP allows each user to standard domain to connect and to connect to SQL Server via the stock management software.

  But on the standard domain of Windows 7 Pro computer users unable to connect to SQL Server, but administrator accounts of area on the same Windows 7 Pro computers can connect to SQL Server through the inventory control program.

  I have set up the alias of the server, the server name and port number via the SQL Server Client Network utility ( cliconfg.exe ) so I know this isn't the problem because it works when I'm logged on as a domain administrator.

  There seems to be something to do with permissions of user domain and Windows 7 Pro. There seems to be a change from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro that does not allow standard domain users to connect to a SQL Server. But I can't find anything about and cannot practice how to solve this problem, except to make all users, domain administrators that is obviously not a good thing to do. So basically I think I need to create a group policy that allows users to connect to SQL Server, but I have no experience in doing this and don't know where to start.

• uninstalled Java, try t re-in-stall, cannot because of "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed Windows 7.

  Having Windows 7 Service Pack 1.  Had to uninstall Java/Pogo games but when you try to reinstall Java a window pops up saying, "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed.

  I used Revo UN-install, but when I checked the Panel he showed Java with a folder instead of the Java icon.  I tried to find what file or folder, it is the case, find nothing.  Please help if you can.

  It lists the reg keys his looking, then you might check to see if you put them before doing anything.

  Back up your registry and set a restore point before taking any action - assuming that is your problem.

  Also, if you download and run the file, AV check it before running it - just in case.

  NOTE: the above was found by google, I have not tried that I have not had the error. I can't say if it works or not.
