  Minimum would, of course, the size of the internal drive.

  Double the quantity is sufficient

  Triple the amount if you want a value years from TM backups

  The bkf files are specific to the Windows XP Backup program and may not be
  used in Windows 8.

  Your only recourse is to find an XP system and to restore bkf files

  If you purchased InDesign CS5.5 as an upgrade then it looks like it's showing that you need to provide information about the old version where you improved since he found nothing that qualifies.  You must only choose the old version and serial number.  (I don't know anything about InDesign, nor how it might relate to PageMaker).

  Messages are stored as eml files.  Is there no eml files, then there is no message.  Check in the windows.old directory if there is one, because it may contain old data.  The location of the message in Vista store is c:\users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows mail, so you might check there.

  Your control panel, section "Programs", you will see the link to uninstall a program.  Click on that and then choose Webroot AntiSpyware from the list.

When I look in the C drive, and open the folder backup (backup C:\My--01/12/23 1134 AM), my photos, videos and documents are not available or are invisisble. I can see the files when I search with a software such as jdiskreport - 1.4.0, but I'm unable to move with this program. When I tried to move them with jdisk... they is locked in the tree of files of jdiskreport. Whenever these trees of missing or file icons has locked, I had to restore to the good previous restore point. In my view, the full restoration of the system (with backup) fails and should be avoided at all costs.

  So, if someone knows a way to access these files, I would appreciate the help of course. And please, no answers don't like "cannot not you just copy and paste?" because it is not currently a solution until the files are visible without erasing my desktop and the Start Menu.

  is it possible that your documents are stored on another drive which was not part of the backup plan? or is the HD in the big enough MBP to inherent the old backup.

  The time Capsule is what we call a 'network' of the road, so when the USB is connected to the time Capsule, which would make it a "network" drive as well.

  Unfortunately, Time Machine is unable to back up a 'network' of the time Capsule drive.

  If you want to save the data or the USB disk using Time Machine drive, you will need to connect the drive directly to your Mac and then it will be saved with your Mac... assuming that the drive has been formatted for Mac to Mac OS extended (journaled) format. Then, the player will become a "local" drive

  If you need to keep the USB connected to the time Capsule, the only way to back up data automatically on a schedule would be to use a commercial program like Carbon Copy Cloner or ChronoSync.
