Number of Login ADF pages with ADF security

Hi all

I created a login using Jdeveloper 12 c page. I created this based on a demo of youtube video connection. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAWBezngA1s)

When I tried to enter username and password and click on the "connect" button, the login page becomes just refreshed and not be re-directed to the homepage (protected.jsf).

The code that is executed when clicking the "connect" button is as below.

In Jdeveloper console, I can see that get printed "coming here...". ». "Come here...". »

I created the user-> business-> Application role role. Also given A newly created page protected.jsf to the application role.

I tried to replace 'protected.jsf' 'xyz.jsf' (scheduled to get an error because there is no page called xyz.jsf), but refreshes him just screen, do not throw any mistake also.

Could you please let me know what could be the problem.

One of the big differences between 11 billion and 12 c is the default behavior for the button component.

11 g af:commandButton a partialSubmit = false, while in 12 c af:button a partialSubmit = true by default.

For example, the value partialSubmit = "false" on your login button.

I use Jdeveloper 12 c, and my problem is stated as:
I developed an application in jdeveloper 11g, then I migrated it to 12 c. He was executed successfully on my own laptop. Can I send it to my client, when the client tried to run on integrated WLS, the Index.jsf (first page to run) is stuck. When he removed the ADF security configuration it run correctly. But once again, once set up, he gave the same problem means Index.jsf gets stuck and tries to reload and reload and reload, but nothing happens.

What kind of security is implemented in the server that falls out?

There are a lot of

way of errors before starting the application to deploy.

So, I see spaces in the path to the installed jdev. This can cause all sorts of trouble.

ADF security: Login Pop up-possible window?
Hey guys,.

I am a beginner on this forum and for JDeveloper/ADF/Fusion... :D
Creating a sample application... has been wondering is its possible to have the default ADF security as just a pop-up login page...

If so how is that possible...?
Extract sample Login custom jspx... Internet pages but its still a separate page... I guess that the separate page for the Login is quite OLD Fashioned?

It's one of the things that you do first: build a template page with the function of connection via a popup.
The JDeveloper by Duncan Mills, chapter 21 Security Developer manual is a good example for her.

I created an example page JSF with only a text to output "Hello World!"

When I run the page without activating the safety of the ADF, it works fine.

I check your application and I noticed that the political ADF seems be grayed in JDev so I re - run the Configuration Wizard for the ADF security.
Other changes were:
user "vbokar" was added to the application role 'testRole1 '.
<>changed the password of the user vbokar for "password1" (so I can test it)
changed the home page or from the success_url of ' / TestPage2.jspx ' to ' / faces/TesPage2.jspx.

Run and Viola! It works!

ADF security with authentication through DB tables
I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0.

I have an application that uses the Security (authentication and authirazation) ADF against the WL embedded ldap. I tried to change the authentication of ldap incorporated into the DB tables. I followed the guide on this blog http://biemond.blogspot.com/2008/12/using-database-tables-as-authentication.html. The ticket was for JDeveloper 11.1.1.1.0 but since there was some little tweeks in the IDE for the safety of the ADF. What I am having a problem with is when I set up the ADF Security Wizard does not all options on the identity store in version 11.1.1.2.0 Jdev. According to the blog, I'm supposed to choose LDAP and not the jazn.com.

I have configured the WL server according to the blog, and I see my DB-table of users in the myrealm. The provider (in the WL) SQLAuthentication is defined to sufficient and even with the default provider. I tried to use the jazn.com in my application, but it will not authenticate my users db-paintings, only users in the built-in ldap. I have sought detailed information about the configuration of the storage of identity in my application, but have not so far found that whatever it is detailed.

Someone has tried this in 11.1.1.2.0, any help is appreciated.

Do not select LDAP (and it's not there anymore). Just select the form-based authentication and (which would also generate login and default error pages). Once after that, run the secure page that would be re - direct you to the login page, where you can enter the Unies/PW Nations which is present in the comic book (that you configured by using SQLAuthenticator).

Page navigation does not not having activated the ADF security

I am facing a strange problem. I have 3 pages namely Login.jspx,.jspx Upload and summary.jspx. Untied task flow (adfc-config. (XML), I created the navigation as Login-> Upload-> summary. There is also a back navigation to download-> login page. The user enters the user id and password on the login screen and click on the "submit" button. If the credentials are correct then control flows to the download page. On page load user selects an excel file and click on the download button and the control moves to the summary screen. There is a button more called out on the download screen, which directs the user to the login screen. The navigation works perfectly well if ADF security is disabled. The time where security is enabled, the navigation fails. I used below link to implement security where it is created a java class to manage the authentication of users and move to the next page. On activation of security, I am only able to navigate from screen to connect to the loading screen. After the failure of this navigation. He won't go to the summary page, or it goes back to the login page. Just on the loading screen. Please let me know how to solve this problem. Jdeveloper version is 12.1.3.0

Problem solved. In the java file authentication, I had put under instruction to navigate to the Page of Upload

LoginUrl = string ' / adfAuthentication? success_url = / faces/Upload.jspx«;»

I found below old son that says to remove .jspx of the URL and it worked.

Successful login ADF redirects to the login page

Simple login page, simple first page.
If the connection is successful, then it just goes back to the login page, rather than on the first page.
I have "redirect after successful authentication" selected and pointing to my first page.
If incorrect credentials are entered, then it goes to the error page as it is supposed to.
No idea why this is happening?

Home page is the page server that uses when there is no http request to a specific page within the web application context (for example, when you enter just: http://hostname/ReportServer: port/YourContext).

In your case, if your authentication was successful, you will be redirected back to the login.html page (because it's your home page)

Instead, add faces/firstPage.jspx in your login page (I don't know if you need to end .jspx)

or

Run your firstPage.jspx

If you are not already authenticated, the server will redirect you to the login page, and after successful authentication redirection, you return to the page defined in the ADF (firstPage.jspx) Security Assistant

(and note that, by default, ADF Security only protect pages that have pageDef)

Now I am developing an application. I am facing the problem of security. Now I need to guarantee me the application (user, group, role etc...)

Oracle recommends me to use internal LDAP WebLogic or OID. But how to create custom for this security management pages? Are there examples?

(1) the customer does not have LDAP
(2) Admin or Manager client without having to access Weblogic server (no sense).

We need to create pages on my request and is managing the internal users, role and group using LDAP or OID.

You don't need to create an additional custom page for the use of LDAP. Just set up security WLS and group mappings to use users configured on the LDAP server (any).

If you already use the ADF security, you should have a created even when custom login page. This can be used. (as described here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/ccset29-all-089763.html)

I have developed web applications by ADF with JDeveloper 12.1.3.0.0
I want to apply the ADF security for authentication and authorization process.
I mentioned several blogs that associated with example ADF security with the database table, but unfortunately I couldn't reach my task of them because all the blogs that make reference to the roles of username, passwords, and user to hardcode.
In my web application, there are 3 database table (users, roles, User_Role).
A user can have one or more roles.
I was able to accomplish this task using spring-mvc + Hibernate + sprig security. Its code of even below.

User, your question is not clear. You have implemented the safety with the spring? So, what's your question?

The ADF security can be combined with a sql authentificator that reads users and roles of the DB tables. See Java / Oracle SOA blog: the use of tables of database as in WebLogic authentication provider and anything on the Fusion Middleware: Tables of database user to implement authentication in ADF and http://soadev.blogspot.de/2010/04/sqlauthenticator-simply-best.html.

All of these solutions do not use users coded hard and rolls.

How to display the new page with HTML, click the ADF

I have an ADF page with a button.
When I click that button, I call a method in backing bean that calculate a string that is HTML. I want to make this HTML as a new page in the same window of the browser as a result button click.
How do I do that?
I can also call a methodCall to task flow on a button click. But my next page should be a new HTML page including the calculation in the method call.

You can convert the calling method in a servlet - your ADF page calls the servlet that returns the HTML code - this may be as a separate page using an af:goLink to call the servlet or it can be included in an af:inlineFrame in your page.

Another option is to return the HTML string as the value for an af:outputText and the attribute of the escape of this element the value false.

Running Application Module tester with ADF security
Hi, I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 and recently activated ADF security on my request. Now when I try to run the Application Module Tester by right click on the request form and say run I get the following error. I understood the question. It seems that I had to remove the library "ADF generic Runtime ' libraries and Classpath of the project of my model parameters.
