ADF security: Login Pop up-possible window?

Hey guys,.

I am a beginner on this forum and for JDeveloper/ADF/Fusion... :D
Creating a sample application... has been wondering is its possible to have the default ADF security as just a pop-up login page...

If so how is that possible...?
Extract sample Login custom jspx... Internet pages but its still a separate page... I guess that the separate page for the Login is quite OLD Fashioned?

Assistance or Clarification welcome :)

It's one of the things that you do first: build a template page with the function of connection via a popup.
The JDeveloper by Duncan Mills, chapter 21 Security Developer manual is a good example for her.

• In Windows Mail, journal on security keeps popping up asking me to check the user name and password.

I have Vista Home Premium with SP 2. In Windows Mail, logon security keeps popping up asking me to check the user name and password. This happens from time to time for many months and I've always got to work but happened several times today. I can sign in the server through my ISP and get email. In Windows mail, I confirmed that the name of username-password is the same that I connect through the ISP. I can't front/send by email but receive in Windows mail.

Server response: '-ERR [IN USE] account is locked by another session or for maintenance, try again.',

So wait a while and try again later. You can also go to their website and log on there to see if it works.

Also try to compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/)

• ADF security: do not be securityContext.authenticated in the bindings of the ADF

I am developing ADF 11 g Secure Application.
first of all, I created the web application from merger. Run the ADF security wizard.and
enable the security of ADF for my created application.and of users roles and application roles and principals.and gives access to the Web page.

Then, I try to create a Custom Login Page.i am in following the
29 allowing ADF security in a Web Application from merger ' chapter in the fusion Developer's guide.

here at 29.7 creating a Login Page,

for the text property of the binding component go, they said to put:
#{securityContext.authenticated? & quot;} Click here to close the session & quot; :
& quot; Click here to open a session & quot ;}
and the property of Destination:

#{securityContext.authenticated? & quot; / adfAuthentication? logout = true & amp;}
end_url = / faces/welcome. JSPX & quot; :
& quot;/adfAuthentication?success_url=/faces/welcome.jspx & quot ;}

But in the generator expressions for the text properties and the destination, I'm getting the class.under of SecurityContext I have that a single "userName".i I do not get the property "authenticated".

so, how is it possible for me to create the connection link on the public page.

If anyone face the same problem and get resolved it please guide me.

Hi EDeeS,

The settings Windows 7 UAC (User Account Control) has a slider to change your level of comfort with the notifications. You can choose one of the following four options:

· Always notify me and wait for my reply. UAC (User Account Control) prompt is displayed on the Office secure when a program is trying to install the software or when you or a program tries to change the settings of Windows. If you do not click Yes, after 30 seconds, the UAC (User Account Control) prompt automatically denies the request.

· Always inform me. The UAC (User Account Control) prompt will appear on the desktop when a program tries to install the software or if you or a program changes Windows settings. If you do not click Yes, after 30 seconds the UAC prompt automatically denies the request.

· Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer. You are notified only when a program tries to make changes to your computer, including changes to Windows settings.

· Never notify me. This selection disables UAC (User Account Control).

But once again, once set up, he gave the same problem means Index.jsf gets stuck and tries to reload and reload and reload, but nothing happens.

• Page navigation does not not having activated the ADF security

Hi all

I am facing a strange problem. I have 3 pages namely Login.jspx,.jspx Upload and summary.jspx. Untied task flow (adfc-config. (XML), I created the navigation as Login-> Upload-> summary. There is also a back navigation to download-> login page. The user enters the user id and password on the login screen and click on the "submit" button. If the credentials are correct then control flows to the download page. On page load user selects an excel file and click on the download button and the control moves to the summary screen. There is a button more called out on the download screen, which directs the user to the login screen. The navigation works perfectly well if ADF security is disabled. The time where security is enabled, the navigation fails. I used below link to implement security where it is created a java class to manage the authentication of users and move to the next page. On activation of security, I am only able to navigate from screen to connect to the loading screen. After the failure of this navigation. He won't go to the summary page, or it goes back to the login page. Just on the loading screen. Please let me know how to solve this problem. Jdeveloper version is 12.1.3.0

Thank you

Problem solved. In the java file authentication, I had put under instruction to navigate to the Page of Upload

LoginUrl = string ' / adfAuthentication? success_url = / faces/Upload.jspx«;»

I found below old son that says to remove .jspx of the URL and it worked.

Unbounded task flow works is not in standalone Weblogic Server

Navigation of the page using adf-config does not

Correct statement is

LoginUrl = string ' / adfAuthentication? "success_url = / faces/Upload ';

Thank you

• ADF security on HTML

Hello world

I have an html page, index.html also, I created adf security on my project with login.jspx and error.jspx

When I want to connect to the system. From the index page, I'm going to login.jspx with a link

Login is successful and return to index.html

Now, how can control the user on the system in an html page and how to enter username on the system in an html page?

Thank you.

This whole approach seems unfair to me.

1. you have page (index.html) static, so you can not add him some dynamic data(like username).

Create rather jspx page and then you can use EL expression (like: #{securityContext.userName}) to display the username, etc.

2 ADF security will only protect pages that have pageDef file to your html page is not protected.

To resolve this problem, you must add additional mappings in the web.xml file to protect the url/index.html

• ADF security & 403 on 2nd attempt of connection error

Hi once again, everything

I am usinf jdev 12.1.3. I have created a small application with 3 pages, welcome.jspx which contains only 2 links to the other 2 pages, let's call them 'employees' and 'hr', that access tables DB with the same name.

-J' enabled the ADF security with auto-generated form pages to connect to my request.

-J' created pageDef for my homepage, because it does not because it has access does'nt all control data.

-J' have created 2 users and 2 application roles, followed Frank Nimphius Blog (Oracle ADF: security for all), access a lot according to my needs.

Runetime, I can successfully connect on my first attempt. However, when I do logout and try to connect using a different user (or even the same), I get a 403 error and no trace whatsoever is shown on my weblogic console.

I tried also to deploy it in a stand alone WLS (12.1.3) with the same result.

So my problem is that I can connect at once at my request, after that I always 403, I uses to open a session no matter what username.

To connect with success once again, I need cancel the deployment of the application and deploy it again. Even using different browsers, I get error 403.

My hypothesis is that there is an error with the "disconnect" action, as it redirects me to the login form, but the session is still alive or something.

I tried to sign in two different ways:

-Via the link:

< af:link text = "Logout" id = "gl1" destination = "#{' / adfAuthentication?}" Logout = true & amp;end_url=/login.html'}"/ >

-Through the call action logout in session bean (it removes Frank sample application):

public String logout()) {}

FacesContext ctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

ExternalContext ectx = ctx.getExternalContext ();

String logoutUrl = 'faces' + ctx.getViewRoot () .getViewId ();

((HttpServletRequest) ectx.getRequest () .getSession () .invalidate ();

try {}

ectx. Redirect (logoutUrl);

} catch (IOException e) {}

e.printStackTrace ();

}

Returns a null value.

}

The two ways that I get correctly redirected to the page of connection, but during my second attempt to connect, I get 403.

Any ideas of what am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much.

Marc

I'm going to auto-answer my own question.

"In my link to logout, then the call to action to disconnect, I added in my grain of support, I forgot to remove the"destination = "#{' / adfAuthentication? logout = true & end_url = / login.html" "}""part.

This withdrawal and only calls the logout method in the bean, it works as supposed to.

Thanks anyway.

• Use the ADF security to grant access to the application

Hello

One of our customers has to move their forms ADF application. The customer also wants to implement SSO using Kerberos. I could implement the ADF to the application security.

The Application has two types of users whose information is stored in the USERS table in the database-

1. Users of the application (not a domain user)
2. Active Directory/domain users.

What the clients want to do, is that if the user belongs to the domain, while the user must be able to view the home page directly. If the user is not a domain user, then the login page must be displayed and the user must be authenticated before the redirection to the home page.

The first part, i.e. to implement SSO for users in domain works. But I don't know exactly how to proceed with the Application users.

Can I create a custom authenticator that connects to the database and authenticate users of the Application?

Any suggestion and pointers will be helpful.

Thanks and greetings

Tinto

You probably don't need to create the custom authenticator.

WLS provides already ReadOnlySQLAuthenticator: Configuration of authentication - 11 g Release 1 (10.3.6) providers

Define "control indicator" for two suppliers of "SUFFICIENT".

I guess within the Web.XML you have something like:

CLIENT-CERT

?

WLS supports several methods of connection in the element for you can use something like:

CLIENT-CERT, FORM

Login

errorPage

(no doubt simpler is to configure the security of form based in the ADF Security Assistant and then manually add CLIENT-CERT in the web.xml file)

RequestDispatcher dispatcher = request.getRequestDispatcher (forwardUrl);
System.out.println ("dispatcher to send forward inside:" + Dispatcher);
try {}
Dispatcher.Forward (request, response);
} catch (ServletException to) {}
reportUnexpectedLoginError ("ServletException", is);

"), check the logs for details");
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addMessage (null, msg);
e.printStackTrace ();

}

When I entered my username and password, it displays an error 401 - non authorized.

I don't know where I went wrong? pls help me. !

No, not if you have started the application as "Fusion Web Application.

• ADF security - allow users against the table and authenticate to LDAP

Hi all

I have a requirement in my current project to use ADF security 1) check the username on a DB table that stores: username, first name, middle name and name and 2) if they appear in the table of authorized users, authenticate them with LDAP that stores the password.

How would I go to do this?

You can configure authentication on WLS providers: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/web.1111/e13707/atn.htm

But, in your case, the problem is that you have password in the db table, you cannot use probably not ReadOnlySQLAuthenticator.
Maybe you can only configure the LDAP authenticator and then use custom login page to check the data in the table before the "real" authentication

• Quick question about redirect ADF security

Hello

We have implemented the ADF security in our ADF application.
We use a login.jspx with safety ADF is enabled and it works very well.
We then created an another login2.jspx but for some unclear reason, whenever we log out, it redirects to login.jspx.
We checked to make sure that pageDef for error2.jspx and login2.jspx files are set correctly; We also checked connection MBean it would redirect you to our home pages/home.jspx page.
We tried to clear the cookies, the browser implements cache and relaunched in JDev.
Yet, we go back to login.jspx when JDev is running.

[21: 15:02]-deployment is complete. ----
Run start time: 16625 ms.
[Optimization application deployed Server Instance IntegratedWebLogicServer]

URL target - http://127.0.0.1:7101/test/faces / home
Manager of the < logger > < error > ServletContainerAdapter not initialized successfully.

What could go wrong?

Thank you

Can you check the UIProject web.xml file and see if there are references to your login.jspx?

• ADF security - logout Prgrammatically back bean method

Hello

I use the ADF security.
How programmatically (java) disconnection of a method to support bean? What should be the code?

With the current logout go link (as mentioned in the help of Jdev) comes the following error and also the disconnection is not really conducted:
403 - forbidden error
RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol--HTTP / 1.1:
10.4.4 403 Forbidden
The server understood the request, but refuses to fill. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated. If the request method was not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been met, it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity. This status code is commonly used when the server does not want to reveal exactly the reason why the request was refused, or when no other response is applicable.

The disconnection should not be just a redirect. He put the authenticated fllag false so that even I go back to the previous page with the back button in the browser
I only see the login page. Of Jdev if I close the browser, the session automatically closes but WebLogic deployed the application even if I close the browser after current disconnected, the session continues.

Kind regards

I created a form simple adf using the Department in the form of the adf. Run - work

I then put the adf security implemented, create login.htm error.html and /faces/mydept.jspx

When I right click on the login.html and run, I get the access code, I signed with the user and get 403.
When I right click on the mypage.jspx and run, I get the connection, I login with the user and work?

so my question for which url do I give to the user once I have move to production
(1) http://...:7xxx/context/login.html
or (2) http://...:7xxx/context/faces/mypage2.jsp

TKS

You can send a http://...:7xxx/context/faces/mypage2.jspx

ADF is a technology jsf the web.xml file will be a filter for faces and is the filter of the address provided and it is treated.

THS peace of code in the web.xml file is responsible for the filter and treatment
