  I need a replacement keyboard for my N200 0769 type and the parts department is unable to answer my question.

  When I search the keyboard part, I get the choice of a manufacturer "NMB" or "Chicony" for the keyboard.  Is there a difference between the two?  I see that one is $ 27 and the other $40,50.

  When I replaced the keyboard on my Lenovo 3000 N200 0769, I used T 42, 3338 of the party, the NMB.   To avoid any problems, I removed the keyboard & taken at my local supplier to make sure that the part that I was getting was not only the same part number (printed on the back of the keyboard), but looked as if it was a duplicate.  I did not order from IBM.

  I need to find the correct part for replacement screen Aspire 5742.  The backlight does not work anymore, and I already bought a UPS to see that this model/version does not use a UPS (as the backlight is LED and integrated in the element of the screen).  I find the somewhat confusing model numbers table.  The full model version seems to be:

  This seems to be a very good laptop that belongs to a mine Guigou, but not worth repair at the local dealership, and I'm sure I can replace the screen myself if I can get the right part, having already dismantled the set of sieves and to be an electronic engineer.

  Either way, I guess that this version of model is the 5742, not the 5742 G (even if the model number has a 'G' in it: some of the confusion).  Any help would be appreciated.

• Satellite Pro A300D - what is the model number for the keyboard?

  My husband managed to dislodge a key on my keyboard CAP and broke the clip white scissors that holds up on... (don't ask me how)

  He spoke of the authorized service center here in Norway and they sent us replacement scissors tongs (actually they sent an old non-functional keyboard), but the clips are of a different design to those on my laptop.

  I was wondering if anyone has an idea of the model/serial number of the keyboard used in the Satellite Pro A300D-151 (PSAK9E) so I can get the correct replacement part.

  I really don't want to have to replace the entire keyboard when it's just 1 scissor clips which is broken... the laptop is only 5 months old.

  Boyfriend sorry but it is not possible to exchange a few individual keys on a keyboard, so in this case, you must replace the full keyboard. But normally, it shouldn't be so difficult.
  Either you exchange the keyboard yourself or you sent the laptop to the authorized service provider.

  The model number for the keyboard is not known to me but contact your ASP! They can order all the parts of Toshiba and they should know the right part number.

  Does anyone know if there is another keyboard that I can get for this model?

  The current keyboard keys a pretty spongy and don't respond well except if pressed hard.
  Also, buttons which I use a lot, such as the right change key and enter key are below standard and difficult to use.

  I want to set up a keyboard layout different if possible. The keypad is not important to me.

  Replacement of keyboard should not be a problem. I recommend you contact the partner of service authorized in your country. They should have the numbers for keyboards with a different layout. Using this number, you'll be able to order replacement keyboard.

  I have a superficial crack on the lid on my laptop HP 15-p030NR beats Special Edition. I had a few plastic welding done to keep the crack spread too, but she snapped again. The hinge seems to be affected. Display is also affected. There seems to be damage to my wifi adapter since I got it patched by plastic welding - driver malfunctions every now and then.

• Replacement keyboard for satellite 1400

  Hi, when I start my laptop after a very short time, I have a popup (the menu associated with the left button of the mouse (I think) randomly appearing even when I am not touching the keyboard or the mouse. In word, when I type the z or / keys it always appears! I tried the external mouse and an external keyboard, with no difference. I think it's a keyboard error, comments? I think that the reason why the external keyboard makes no difference is that the internal keyboard is still connected i.e. sound always short-circuit. I am just out of warranty (rats!) Is it easy to replace the keyboard, I'm a little short on cash. Constantly clear the popup having my head.

  If I understand you right, your warranty is over. Then you can open your laptop without the risk of losing it.

  Open the notebook and disconnect the keyboard. If this does not a difference for the external keyboard, it must be a software problem.

  In any case, I recommend to reinstall the latest driver from the download page of Toshiba driver for the keyboard.

  Yes, you should be able to get the keyboard replaced.  I would like to get the update of your proof of purchase warranty, anyway.

  The warranty is calculated from the date of manufacture, as imagine you.  It can sit on a shelf for a few weeks or months before it is sold and the warranty is running during this period.  It is always advisable to get the update of the proof of purchase warranty when buying.

  I spilled water on my HP laptop and now the keyboard doesn't work. Everything looks very good, and it works very well when a USB keyboard is connected.

  So, I'm looking to replace the keyboard. I had a hard time finding a good game, but... HP part Surfer said that my laptop has part #681981-001 or 698782-001, "Island style paint black backlit keyboard." I found this article on ebay and elsewhere.

  BUT my original keyboard was not backlit. However, I am sure that there is a connector to the Ribbon backlit. See photo (finger pointing on this one).
