  Have you looked on the good driver Toshiba site?

  I searched Toshiba's European site for common modules and I found two common Modules for Tecra M9 PTM91E and PTM90

  In addition, the installation instructions document was placed on the page. Please check and follow the installation guide lines!

  If you install the Tools & Utilities CD that you got with your laptop then there must be a special note on the installation procedure. Before you install one of the tools, you must install common Modules. It is a very important for all tools & utilities module.

  First install of the common Modules and then try again with Hotkey Utility for display devices.

  Just down to XP, downloaded drivers from toshiba and the installation was completed with an error not saying no driver found for my hardware. That's happened with the common Module and ATI Display Driver.

  I think that you just tired to install common Modules is not supported on this laptop.
  That is one reason why you can not install it.

  With regard to the display driver.
  Try to install the drivers for the laptop models:

  Equium A300D PSAK2E
  Equium L350D PSLE2E
  Satellite P200 PSPBLE
  Satellite L350D PSLE0E
  Satrellite L300D PSLC0E

  The biggest problem I have, is that some Fn keys do not work, such as light levels and enable/disable the touchpad.

  You do not find the common Modules because the common modules Hasna t been released for this series of laptop.
  Moreover, Toshiba driver page doesn't provide all the XP drivers for this series and this means that you will not be able to use all the keys FN under Win XP.

  I have an A210 with Win XP too and not all FN keys work.

  If you want you can try to install the common Modules released for other A210 series but I doubt that this application is compatible. In my case it didn't work.

  First be sure that you install all the things in the order of good facilities. This means that the common Modules must be installed before you start the installation of any other tool of Toshiba or utility.

  Common modules can be installed like any other application following facilities Assistant.

  As Johnny suggested already download the common modules for this series and install again!

  Hi guys:
  I recently reinstalled xp professional on my satellite pro A120. I could download and install the main drivers of http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com and my phone is functional. However, I did not all sounds and (F6 & F7 and toggle) function keys not working, even after insalling the sound card. I read some of the posts on this forum and found that I needed insall the 'common' module to make them functional. I downloaded the driver from module common too, but when I run the Setup it starts initially, but fails both the configuration is complete.

  The same thing happens also with a few other drivers as saver of energy etc... I was not able to run the Setup program for the common module & driver power saver, basically, nothing happens after I have the respective installation.

  Can anyone help please?
