  By the numbers, how can you (or is it possible to) automatically generate data in a spreadsheet that is manually entered in another sheet?  For example, I want to track customer information in sheets 2-10 and I want specific data of these sheets to automatically fill the sheet 1 box so I can create an overview of the specific data in any of my clients.  As a dashboard of sorts.

  The devil is in the details here. Can you give more details?

  In general, I would say it will be much easier to enter your data at a specific location and then consolidate that extracts the "views" or "reports" it for each customer, to enter data for each client separately.

  But both ways are possible.

  I found the way to fix this...

  If you disable automatic synchronization, you can manually synchronize the files between your computer and your device. You must manually synchronize any changes to files that manually synchronize you.

  1. On your computer, open BlackBerry link.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, click on your device.
  3. Click on the settings icon.
  4. In the view settings, click synchronization.
  5. Do one of the following:
     • To turn off automatic synchronization for your music, turn off the Musiccheckbox.
     • To disable the automatic synchronization of your photos, clear the Picturescheckbox.
     • To turn off automatic synchronization for your video, disable the Videoscheckbox.
     • To disable the automatic synchronization of your documents, clear the check box of Documents.

  I want to calculate simple interest due on the amount, the interest rate and number of days.

  When I input "number" format of the result cell and calculate the amount * rate * number of days divided by 365 always automatically shows something unwanted and the format "date." Furthermore, I'm not able to change the AutoFormat ("date") in "number".  How to bypass this automatic selection?

  Maybe you can share what, exactly, you enter in a cell.  A screenshot is also useful.

  

  Here's a way to do what I think you want:

  Enter amounts in cells B1, B2 and B3

  Select cell B6, and type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

  =B2*B3*B1/365.25/100

  shortcut for this is:

  B6=B2*B3*B1/365.25/100

• Can I make my table to DataSet table 3d 2D data set?

  Hello.  I'm putting my data in a 3D Board.  I'm not really satisfied with the table 3D data set since that requires a large amount of manipulation of the table whenever I want to do something with the data - I do a lot of analysis, it's a pain.  It is reliable, but it takes space BD and is generally a pain.  I read here (post #6 & #7 if the link don't you shoot directly to it) a few messages by some respected LabVIEW guru they didn't see no reason to 3D tables used.  I was hoping someone might be able to point to a better solution to know how to store and access my data logically.

  I'm n channels of data acquisition (a while but I have will add to this later), that puts me in a table 2D with each line being the channel and the columns are the data points.

  I need to acquire multiple test runs a data value.

  I also need using data in each series of tests, average averages and check the test medium-sized operating are with a tolerance of the average general.

  I also need to be able to revive one of the test tracks if its average does not fall within the tolerance of the average general.

  I use the page in 3D as the series of tests table.  If I can then get some tests, I want to by selecting the corresponding page.

  I'm waiting to save all the test runs at the same time until the user selects to save the data.  Which means that the user has run the minimum number of test runs, and all have averages that fall within the tolerance of the average general.  I love this soley because this test will be carried out different several times for different of UUT and all data for this USE can be saved in a single file.

  I am currently save the file as a binary file (for my purposes of data backup) and then the user can also choose to save it in Excel, with each test on its own sheet.

  I thought to save after each race.  I don't know how add/replace the data in the binary file. I would rather not a separate binary file for each set of tests, but it's not a dealbreaker.

  The only way I see to avoid the 3D Board is back up after each series of tests.  This would mean that I would have a lot more handling of file (when they should be replaced, when the averages should be analyzed, etc..).

  Is the "save after each test cycle" approach that is generally used?  If so, it seems to me that file manipulation would be more prone to error than the manipulation of table 3D (maybe just for me I guess). Can someone tell me otherwise?

  Is there another approach that I have not thought or discovered here?

  I think that save after each test cycle is a safer and more reliable way to accomplish what trying to boot of all data and recording at the same time.  This way, if the program crashes, you don't lose all the data because it was still in memory.  The data had been collected so far are safely in a file.  Why do you think of file manipulation would be more subject?

  If you want to add an existing file, then you just use the position to set the file to set the pointer to file at the end of the file, after you open the file.

  You can also watch the TDMS file format because it has means of sorting and organization of several sets of data.

• How to determine the size of the binary file data set

  Hi all

  I write specific sets of data in table in a binary file, by adding each time so the file grows a set of data for each write operation.  I use the set file position function to make sure that I'm at the end of the file each time.

  When I read the file, I want to read only the last 25 data sets (or numbers).  To do this, I thought using the position set file to set the file position where it was 25 sets of data from the end.  Math easy, right?  Apparently not.

  Well, as I was collecting data file size as I began the initial tet run, I find the size of the file (using file order size and get number of bytes so) as the size increases the same amount every time.  My size and the format of my data being written is the same every time, a series of four numbers double precision.

  I get increments are as follows, after the first write - 44 bytes, after 2nd - 52 bytes, 3 - 52 bytes, bytes 44 4th, 5th - 52 bytes, 6 - 52 bytes, 7th - 44 bytes and it seems to continue this trend in the future.

  Why each write operation would be identical in size of bytes.  This means that my basic math for the determination of the poistion of correct file to read only the last 25 sets of data won't be easy, and if somewhere along the line after I've accumulated hundreds or thousands of data sets, what happens if the model changes.

  Any help on why this occurs or on a working method, all about the problem would be much appreciated.

• How to reference the Javascript data link data?

  I have a specific question-

  I have a PDF template I design in Livecycle Designer ES2. Data binding is the XML schema. For one of the fields, I need to link data with formatting.

  For example: if my XML (based on the schema) is as follows

  I want to connect a tabled text named "term" on the model of PDF to be set as < EffectiveDT > - < ExpirationDT >

  I couldn't understand how to bind it in the binding for the text field tab, so I thought that maybe I can have a JavaScript code that can make me to be concatenated to the TextField and I can let the empty link.

  Is this possible? What would be a good solution for these use cases? If we can go way of JavaScript, could someone please share a snippet on how to access the element of JavaScript data binding?

  Is the expression field will be used as a label, or the authorized user to update?  If it's just a label so that you can use a text object with two floating fields related to dates.

  If you do not want to use a TextField object, you can use JavaScript as follows, where initialization;

  this.rawValue = parent.dataNode.resolveNode("element[0].value").value + "-" + parent.dataNode.resolveNode("element[1].value").value;

  This code assumes that your xml file looks like.

  And that the the TextField object has a parent subform, which is bound to the element xml:term (so the parent.dataNode resolves to xml:term).

  Also, I found also that it can cause problems using element and attribute names that are in conflict with the names of the XFA objects.  Normally, I would have written the resolveNode argument used above something like;

  parent.dataNode.resolveNode ("element. ("(name) == 'EffectiveDt'] .value ') .value

  But because the object XFA representing the element also has a name property I never found a way to refer to the attribute called xml name in JavaScript.

  So the tricky part will be if they can update the values and you can then update your xml file the fields manually, not which in fact updated it is hard, it's going to be analysis of the new value that will be difficult.

  My question is:

  Is it possible to make the first button appear 'active' when the page opens. For example, each button corresponds to a State of 'Black' when it is not active, a reddish "stable" condition and a dark gray "active" State. All the buttons are black 'inactive' when the page opens, but the first description of the image and it is visible, then I would be the first button to appear 'active' (gray dark instead of black).

  The way it is now, if you click the first link after the page opens, the button changes to the 'active' State and/or colour, but its content does not change it looks like a mistake...

  Any help would be greatly appreciated - Please note: this is a demo page, I'm trying, please disregard the appearance and content - just trying to get the feature...

  I carefully built a Spry - a table - with a corresponding region of detail data set, following the instructions in the Adobe video workshop. Everything works, including the row headers clickable to use lines and activation of the changes in the retail area. BUT I can't get the hand cursor appears (at the place of arrow or the sliders of the i-beam) on interactive areas. Tried creating null links (href = "#") to activate the hot words (it works) but which causes actual links on the page to insert the root of my site in front of the URL to other sites.

• Import of lvm to express signal does not lead to consistent data set

  When you import a file of lvm captured in a VI, SignalExpress visualizes as dozens of data points separated rather than a set of waveform data. Anyone know if there is a problem with the way I am that capture/storage of the data, or is - what a questions at the end of SignalExpress with handling data? One of the files of lvm header is shown below:

  Hi Andy,.

  I opened file lvm in Signal Express and saw the same thing you knew. I had a look in the file in the header properties and noticed that the number of samples has been set to 1. I've changed that to 1276 like you who have many data points and they are all now showing on one data set. So, it seems that is trying to create a set of data for each data item in the file lvm. Try changing the number of samples in 1276 and let me know if this is the correct waveform, you need to see.

  We have data as above a table and we want to calculate all the days, the hourly average for large data set (almost 100 million).  Is it possible to use the sql functions of analysis for better performance instead of the ordinary average and group of?  Or any other way better performance?

  Don't know if that works better, but instead of using to_char, you could use trunc. Try something like this:

• What is the easiest way and automated to automatically remove data cards without using the API.

  We have a use case where you want to get a number of data cards in the last 30 days. I know that I can use the data card evaluator app to count, but not with additional limits to date created.  I was wondering if anyone has found a way to automatically remove data cards without using code API/custom just so I can get the correct number, I always desire or some other way to solve this puzzle.

  OK never mind, just resolved using this day and form the connector to cloud, just a counter in the data card whenever a transaction occurs by product with combination of program generator.

  If anyone has any other simple approach, please share.

• Using geocoded in a map based on a vision where two data sets are joined

  I would like to create a map based on a view in which two sets of data are joined, where one of the data sets has a column of geocoding.

  Unfortunately this does not work... It seems that a custom view where two sets of data are gathered together where one of them has a geocode column makes the invisible geocode column for the component of the map.

  The following cases work, but we like to combine so that we can combine the different sets of data in the Studio without using the Integrator:

  
  

  -I can create a custom view in which we join two sets of data > the view can be used as a source for component but not the component card (it seems that the geocode column is not found)

  -I can create a custom with a geocode inside column view and that can serve as the source for a map

  What I would like to show, it is that it is possbile to have a data sets from a source system and it's easy to combine an another excel sheet with geo-information and maybe another sheet with different measures of excel. This should be possible since you can collect different sets of data in a custom view.

  Hi Richard

  In regards to my reading of your EQL, I think you can try to rename the "Particulars" to "Endeca_Klanten.Coordinaten" column in the select clause of Omzet_Geo.

  Although not quite elegant, map requires the geo attribute to have the same name (key attribute, no nickname) as the base view, at least that the custom view will not be picked up by card.
