Pavilion, Vista 64 - bit OS HPw19b HD in time real returns. The speakers emit the sound of "frying".

See equipment & OS, above. My sound is 'rough '. I checked the cables and that they are properly attached and not let go. Diagnostics indicates that drivers in real time high definition are updated and working properly. How can I determine if the problem is in the monitor or the computer. I can fix it or will I need a repair installation? Thanks for any help.

Before you go out and spend money there are a few things you can try.

First of all, make sure that your drivers are up to date on your computer. If you could provide the product number for your computer, we can provide you with page drivers for your computer where you can go to make sure that your drivers are up to date. I provided you a link below for how to find the number of your product to your computer.

How can I find my model number or product number?

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00033108

Then make sure you have no other devices that contain magnets near your speakers.

Finally, try a different app for sound. For instance if you hear the scratching during execution of the audio CD try a video or something and see if you still get the sound of scratching.

Please re-post with the results so that we know how the steps work for you.

  • Vista 64-bit goes to blackscreen for 5 minutes after the connection.

I have a normal starting time, then after I have my login screen displays Microsoft spinning circular icon for 1 to 2 minutes, then the screen goes black with the cursor to pointer. Normally, it takes about 5 minutes before my screen loads completely. I've updated my display driver, clean my registry errors and defragmented my machine.  I got this machine for two years and had no problems until last week when we lost power in a storm. I also installed Bit Defender in the last two weeks. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that your antivirus software is not interfering.  That's the problem most often met with this kind of problems.  Check first via webmail, if you have access and see if the account is good working there.  If so, then check out www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and try to remove your email account, closing and reopening WinMail and then add your account back once again and then see if it works very well.

  • PC (Win7 64 bit) freezes completely after some time due to the CVI 9.0.1 32-bit application: question in cvirte.dll

I have a strange problem with my app CVI. After a while, no constant time (especially on a day or two), the PC freezes completely when running my application. Examine the system event logs, I see a lot of entries from the CVI, sometimes 8fois per second!

Above all, it looks like the following:

The description for event ID 0 in source CVI could not be found. Either the component that triggers this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event is on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information has been included in the event:

[14:18:42.389] [GetLWMessage] [FATAL] [.. \jsource\jn_msgs.c:672 assertion failure]: WRONG (error in the message handler: code #12689 unknown message received)

Although the system event log is set to a size of 20 MB only and the fact that it is automatically overwrite (FIFO) itself, the PC won't be able to do in the face of this large amount of entries in line waiting.

I searched the internet but found absolutely no clue. I searched then through my code using find in files and finally only found the following within the cvirte.dll sequence when you use "*." "*" as file extension filter:

.. \jsource\jn_msgs.c ConvertMsgText error in the message Manager: unknown message code #% ld received GetLWMessage

Why exactly what the system event log tells me. I wonder that there are some things Java in a related CVI runtime dll

Know someone, any idea how I can fix this problem?

I tried to run my application using WinXP SP3 compatibility mode, but this did not help.

I'll try to refine the question. I will also try to recompile my application using CVI2015

The application does not generally crushed. There are different configurations of my tool where he works a lot of days. So, I have to determine the exact circumstances. Also there is no memory leak, so does not unnecessarily increase consumption of RAM during execution.

    Any help much appreciated

    Thanks and greetings

    Hi Kyle,.

    Thanks for your response!

In the meantime, I managed to solve the problem. Checked the date and version of the DLL runtime on the target PC, I found that they differ runtime DLLS that have been installed with my application using the distribution kit. After the reinstallation of the application, there was more no new error event log entries, so this solves the problem :-)

Only, I wonder where these DLLs from...

    Thanks and greetings

  • Strange Lag issues on Windows vista 32-bit as well as game slow load time

OK, this is really starting to annoy me, and I would be very grateful if anyone can solve this problem for me. Well since I had my HP Pavilion Vista 32-Bit seems "randomly Lag" occasionally. For example, I'd be right on the web, and then all the computer slows down as the office. Windows and the programs seem to start to take longer to open. I reccently got a video card Nvidia GTS 250 for the game but still lags. But the strangest thing is that this problem occurs randomly. The problem seems to stop and then "randomly comes back" to happen to my PC. So far, my solution is to leave the computer alone or just leave it turned off. But the other day I left 3 days straight and did not help a bit. It was a month ago, but it was very strange. Now, he seems to be doing more often. (I do not add or download new programs recently)
It really bothers me, and I stopped buying games for my cause of PC that I rarely have the opportunity to play their cause of this problem. I know I did not describe my great problem but can someone help me please?

    Dis_Ze_Legend,
Since this doesn't seem to be a specific game question here are things that you can try.

  • Re: Satellite A300-1EI PSAGCE - need to Vista 64-bit drivers

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite A300 - 1EI PSAGCE, which by default comes with Windows Vista Home Premium.

I intend to upgrade the operating system to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, but I am not able to find the drivers for vista 64 bit from Toshiba Web sites. When buying the laptop, I had asked expressly the Toshiba seller if I can move on to the final and he convinced me that I can.

_Kindly provide a link to download the drivers for 64 bit for A300-1EI_.

    Please notify.

    Kind regards
    Adil

You asked to you can upgrade Vista 64-bit operating system and sellers said yes.
Well, of course, you can install the 64-bit Vista. You can also install W2k or WinME you can install everything but the question is whether you will be able to find the drivers.

The point is that this is a new series of mobile at the moment and I think that the derivers 64 bit of Vista will be released in next time
So, either you will wait until these drivers will be available on the Toshiba site or you try to collect the drivers and own hand.

    Welcome them

  • Can satellite L500D - I get Vista 64-bit?

I just buy new computer Toshiba Satellite L500D and I installed Vista 64 bit, but then I realized that some of the programs and games work dosent in 64-bit version of windows.

Can I still chance it if I recover this window or if I order Windows 7 (a free, I just pay what they send me) can I get it then? Or I can make clear installation and then chanse on 32-bit or install Windows xp and upgrade to Windows 7?

    Hey Buddy

All first if burn you the Toshiba Recovery disk using the Toshiba Recovery disk you can still restore Vista 64 bit any time you want. This disk contains an image of the factory settings and can be restored if you start from the disc.

Your question about the different versions of Windows (upgrade, etc) is quite complicated, but theoretically, you can install what you want. An upgrade to Windows 7 is possible if you are using Vista, update on XP isn t possible. In addition, you can pass only to the same version, which means that Vista 32 bit can only be upgraded to Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit to 64-bit only.

I just bougt garage a laptop, Toshiba Satellite L300-1 year and I intend to install Vista 64 - bit OS but I didn't not find the drivers for Vista 64-bit (only for 32-bit Vista). Can you help me withsome information or links?

    Hello

    > I just bought a laptop, Toshiba Satellite L300-1 year and I intend to install Vista 64 - bit OS but I did not find the drivers for Vista 64-bit (only for 32-bit Vista). Can you help me with information or links?

As already suggested in this forum the Vista 64 bit drivers are not available for all Toshiba laptops.
What you can do is to search on different websites for these drivers for Vista 64-bit.
For example, you can search on the page Intel or Realtek.

Chip manufacturers should provide 64-bit drivers too.

    > Another question (I'm not an expert): my laptop has 4 GB of RAM and a couple guys told me that only a 64 bit OS can use all my 4 GB of RAM. Is this true?
The 32-bit OS no matter if it s Vista or XP would recognize only 3.2 GB of RAM.
Only the 64 bit OS can see 4 GB of RAM or more

  • Satellite Pro P300: Need driver "Mass storage controller" of Vista 64-bit

    Hi, please help.

I just upgraded my laptop from Windows Vista 32 bit Vista 64-bit.

I managed to find all the drivers apart: the driver "Mass storage controller" (yellow exclamation in Device Manager).

I don't know where to look for this driver.

Any help would be appreciated. Al

    Hello

I guess you didn't search in the forum for similar issues? Is this good?
I think that I m straight because I searched the forum and found that Toshiba FAQ doc.

+ No driver Windows XP for PCI Memory Controller +.
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB83023N0000R01.htm

Here you can find this text passage:
After the installation of Windows XP, there might be a yellow exclamation by a "PCI memory controller" or * "Mass storage controller" * in Device Manager.

    _Solution: _
This unit is probably the module of Robson former Turbo Memory.
This material will be supported only by Windows Vista.
There is therefore no Windows XP driver.

Now, everything should be clear ;)
