NVIDIA updates?

I just did the last update of Yosemite to build the 14F1509 and died of my Nvidia drivers (Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 2 GB in a 12 3.46 GHz dual core, 64 GB of RAM in a Mac Pro 2010 scenario) not covered by pilots Apple, which is fine except for some video intensive games online which was awesome before the update to work. Now the game crashes two monitor screens and requires a hard start/stop before continuing on all 3 or 4 games during startup or when finishing the game and back to start the next. I tried to turn down all the video settings to their setting, with no improvement. (they are busy perfectly at their highest level before the update).

Site Web de NVIDIA has a newer driver than what I was using. (I used 346.02.03f02 and the most recent is 346.02/03f03), but he also refuses to install because it (like the one I used) works with Yosemite build maximum 14F1505. (The construction before the update of December 2015)

I contacted Nvidia to inquire about their next update, but heard nothing again (normal Nvidia support when it comes to Macs from what I've seen) the last time that this happened, it took months of Nvidia to rewrite the Mac drivers.

My question: does anyone know a work around that allows installation of the Nvidia software in the higher OS build number, or maybe some Apple drivers that allow the Nvidia GPU work to its fullest and give me back my video reliability?

I don't know why Nvidia and Apple are so anal to have a specific version of the driver for each specific OS X version. (Build version changes every time Apple issued a security update or a new version of OS X.) I'm sure that almost every time that happens, the driver does not actually change outside of having a matching version number.

But Nvidia are very good to get new versions of their driver to match Apple in a few days, in other words that it is better to not upgrade to the latest version of Apple as soon as it comes out to give Nvidia a change to catch up.

(It seems that Nvidia now has a version for 14F1509.)

    Don't use Nvidia go update and download the latest GPU and update Nvidia software update. In this way that you will eliminate any problems during the live update. I have always to download my drivers and then do an installation off line to avoid error a bit direct update that may or may not be detected by the software.

  • Has been downloaded and installed a Nvidia update when it stopped and showed an error

    The Nvidia update was generated by the process of automatic update of Vista.  This who should I try it or ignore it.  In addition, there are normally an indicator of monitor in my background task bar but who moved with symbol of Nvidia.

    Why not go to the NVIDIA website and get the update for your particular graphics card there.

  • NVidia updates causing the blue screen in Windows XP.

    I have two different desktop computers running Windows XP. Both have NVidia graphics cards. I recently downloaded Microsoft updates on a computer and noticed blue screen on shut down, page non paged area error code 50. It seems to suggest a problem with the display adapter. I tried several bugs to fix, but it persists most of the time. I assumed that it was unique to this computer until I downloaded the updates on my second computer, which I hadn't used in the month. All of a sudden I wake up a blue screen that is similar to booting with similar suggestion, it is the display adapter driver. NV4_DISP.dll in this case. What I noticed about this "update" is an update which is optional for NVidia and AC97. I downloaded both, but noted that they were dated 2003. I worked my way around the blue screen when starting in safe mode and cancelled the NVidia driver for... 2006! This was the driver I had installed from the Web of NVidia site, some time ago. The AC97 driver showed also a problem in the device driver, so I rolled back and things worked. I think that Microsoft sent an update for the drivers of video card NVidia and AC97 Codec which is damaged or outdated. This is not unique to Windows XP that others seem to experience it in Windows Vista and 7. My video cards are the two NVidia, but different models, which adds credibility to my theory. Any ideas or solutions?

    1. after making back the driver, change your configuration of automatic update of the automatic for the only Notify ("notify but not...") ") setting.

    2. open IE (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run it in DEFAULT difficulty and modes and AGGRESSIVE, and then restart your computer. [1]

    3. thereafter, NEVER approve the download (or install) updates offered by Windows Update driver, just "hide". Download all the NECESSARY updated driver from the device or computer manufacturers' download pages ONLY.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    [1] full Disclosure: the difficulty operating in AGGRESSIVE mode will remove your update history but not list the updates installed in Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) or installed updates.
  • Movie Maker black screens. AVI after nVidia update
    I have been using Windows Live Movie Maker (15.4.3538.0513) for several months with no problems.  I've updated my nVidia drivers last night and now I get a black screen when you import .avi files into Movie Maker.  It worked before.  I did a system restore to the previous version of the video driver and Movie Maker is capable of processing the .avi files.  I also tried to reinstall the codec files, but I am at a loss on where to go next.  Help?
    .wmv files seem to be working before and after the upgrade from nVidia, but FRAPS capture .avi files, and I'm not interested in going the extra step to convert - it worked fine before.
    Looks like roll back the video driver is the answer. Unless you have
    a specific program that requires the view is not necessary to press to update
    anyway.
    Now, I see that you use Windows Live Movie Maker and this is why
    There is no compatibility tab. I guess I think of Vista Movie Maker 6 when
    I see a question of Vista.
    FWIW... .avi files can be converted to a lot in most of the converters and
    insofar as quality loss... the files will be converted in any case when Live Movie
    Machine saved as WMV.
    Vista Movie Maker 6 (better IMHO application) can record in DV - AVI.
    The following chart shows where the DV - AVI option.
  • problems caused NVIDIA update
    I installed via windows update, the update of nvidia driver and it caused the control panel not to open and screen size went big, rolled back to the previous working driver that corrects the problem. now my question is how can I delete the new unwanted driver when it does not show on the page of updates to unstall, the only place where I see it's in these latest updates, he has not worked for me so I don't need or want so, how can I get rid of him now? This does not affect just leave me here other than too much space? Why can't I find it? Thanks for help
    Do not install any driver updates offered by Windows Update. Find them in the manufacturer's website instead.
    Hey
    After that I updated the NVIDIA (320.49) drivers on your laptop with a geforce GT540M map
    Intel 3000. (im in Preferences > performance > settings of the graphics processor)
    How do for it to work and have it PS use the right graphic card?
    Please do not answer 'contact nvidia' because they say to contact adobe. And
    PS is the only software to have problems after the upgrade, so I consider
    This a problem of PS.
    Windows 8 + Photoshop Cs6 x 64
    If anyone has the same problem:
    I finally understood this, I had to right click on the PS icon and select
    Run with GPU > High Performance NVIDIA
    And this as the default to use map. Now it works as it should again, thank God!
  • Display after the Nvidia update problem
    After you have installed the most recent driver (ver. 340.52) for my graphics (Nvidia GeForce GT 625) thanks to the HP Support Assistant, my screen has been changed. Everything has a blue/grey tint - it's like the red and green color no longer exist!
    Cables and the monitor are fine; I tried a system restore; I rolled the driver back to the version 337.88 - all with no change.
    I'm running Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion 500 - 205t, Intel Core i5-4570, 64-bit processor.
    Suggestions? Thank you!!
    Hello
    Avoid using adapters as they can and do fail.
    Install the driver NVIDIA of originwhich has been published for your PC.
    If the above doesn't work then try the suggestions below:
    Try the monitor and cable on another PC to remove these components as possible problems. If not, try a known good monitor and well-known cable.
    Remove the video card and try onboard video, coming from the motherboard.
  • How to update the drivers NVIDIA for Pavilion dv6755el.
    Hi, I know it please tell how to update the video card driver, in which rirectory GB installed, because I stood Blue Shield and microsoft has identified that the video card driver is not updated, I followed the procedure of upgrading HP but found no drivers. ? I downloaded directly from NVIDIA updated for my card, but I can't find where the original, but the installer says C:\Nvidia... Thank you
    I don't think it's asking you where to install, it can ask for a place to decompress the files, so just say ok the location by default, he suggests. If the installation does not continue after developing files, switch to that folder where it expanded their and find the Setup, the exe file and run it.
  • A Windows Update which included a NVIDIA driver's day, now of video problems
    A few days ago, I installed a driver NVIDIA update in the updates of windows.  Since then, I have had problems with the video screen goes blank.  Whenever I was forced to do a power cycle to recover. Several times.  After awhile, I had to reinstall Windows 7, no surprise.  But, even after this reinstall I still see video problems.  I used this machine for 8 years and never had a problem before this video.  Never.  It is a new problem that came with the installation of the update of the driver.  It seems that the NVIDIA installation has changed something that Windows 7 reinstall couldn't fix!  Looks like something in the video card or the BIOS.
    I expect that any change in the inner workings of windows, including that the registry would be more written by Windows 7 reinstall.  This is a full installation.  Not a repair.  I tried a repair, but didn't work, so a complete installation.
    The update of the included NVIDIA driver NVIDIA console could be appearing in the Panel.  This console configures the driver settings, without going through the windows interface.   What did do?  May have changed the firmware on the card?  May have changed the NIC of the OS?  Maybe something changed in the BIOS.  That was the case, the change persisted after reinstallation of Windows 7.  Yesterday, to installed the provided Comcast Norton security suite.  After the death of the first installation of the video.  I did an uninstall/reinstall and it seems ok at the moment.  Never had this problem before.  Initially, this machine has Windows XP and has been updated to Windows 7.  On both versions of the OS, I have installed security software and never no problem.  Not until this update of NVIDIA driver has been installed with the console software.
    I have really no need for their new console super driver.  I'm not a player, just need to get my system back to a reliable State.
    While searching for a solution on the internet, I'm a LOT see people with this problem.  It seems that this has been a matter of months.  Since I have this problem while performing a Microsoft provided update, Microsoft must weigh on this and get NVIDIA to present a real difficulty.
    After having the same DELL machine for 8 years, I thought to be updated to a mini pc.   A shoe more small print on my desk.  But I'm very concerned about getting a machine with NVIDIA graphics.  Also, I now seem that one cannot assume the updates from Microsoft to be sure.
    Of course, this seems to be a driver problem.  I don't know if the NVidia updates change firmware on the card.
    If this computer is a variety of funds, and I presume that it is or it would not still be alive after 8 years, your best solution will be to go to the computer store and buy a low range graphics card that will fit in your PC.  Probable cost is less than $50.  Only problem is you need to know what type of video slot machine MB of your computer has.  The video card must adapt it.
    If you tell us the brand / model of the PC, we are able to provide more help.
    I should add that my PC is about 6 years old and has a NVidia video card.  I made the mistake of getting a new NVidia driver also.  He made a number of problems.  Finally, I solved it by uninstalling and removing all components of NVidia.  Then by restarting.  I remember not but either Windows installed the right driver or it has been updated for Windows installed.  No problem since.
    nVidia is not really interested in visitors like us.  Their focus is on the players.  Accordingly, users like we end up with a software that is very different from what we actually need.
