OAS 10 g lost connection to the database

We have two servers what Oracle 10g application server and a server running which WebCache running.

Servers with applications work very well but twice in 24 hours get the critical error that users have no access to the application. Search logs OC4J - there is error on cannot get a physical connection to DB. Check DB - sound work well.
Help to revive only full OAS. A few times he only helps on a single server sometimes need to reload purchased.

Try to check the use of the Connection Pool (described in the [727387.1 ID] support document)
If there is none or low number of free connections in the Pool of connections and at the same time these DB connection side are inactive.
set timeout for your pool Connectin accordingly.

  • Connect to the database that has lost access to a partition

    Hi all
Suppose we have a partitioned table that look in some storage (physically) different. If the database lost access to one of them, what happens? The database can be loaded? If the user is unable to connect to the database, what can we do to solve the problem (because one of the characteristics of partitioning is availability)? If a user tries to get some data (by request), oracle will declare that a partition is not available and so the information may be incomplete?
    Best regards

Interesting, above should work without error, as is explained in the following note:

  • How to connect to the database

    Hi all

I use labsql (and quite new to him m) and the server Mysql 5.1.I wanted to know how to connect to the database without changing the name of the dsn from the tools administrative/ODBC 5.1 driver manually. I want to install exe in several PC and it would be a great help if I could make the connection directly but my Vi.

I went through several forums and came to know that 'Provider = ProviderName; Data Source = DatabaseSource; Initial Catalog = DatabaseName; User = username ID; Password = password', should solve the problem. But where in my case I m still confused. The connection string above does not sit well with me.

    Can someone help me please.

Have a look here, where I have such a picture to show how to form a string constant to connect to the database. Some subsequent posts in this thread should also be useful.

    Good luck!

    (I'm running VISTA 32 bit)

    Hello

This behavior is caused by a corrupted or damaged HH. DAT file.

This may occur if Antivirus or a firewall, you have installed the program it blocks.

If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks

  • How to connect to the database without sqlclient soa

    Hi all

I have a very simple question.

I need to write a shell script to get some stats for bpel instances of database as part of the daily health check.

The problem is in our area of unix server, any customer database is not installed.

Sql client is present as part of the installation of SOA that we can use to create the connection to the database? or by any mode of access to the shell database.

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

    Hi Bob, there.

most of the components in the FMW stack including SOA infrastructure rely on pure JDBC to talk to RDBMS and as I know there is no client Oracle installed in slot the FMW home (after installing SOA Suite).

One possibility would be to use the Oracle Instant Client and use its tools from your shell scripts. It's a bit unzip and run Setup.

  • Unable to connect to the database. adbldxml.pl

    I've updated 11.1.0.7 12.1.0.2 database database with a 12.1.3 apps

I produced the apps appsutip.zip and copied to the 12.1.0 oracle home

but when I run perl adbldxml.pl in appsutil/bin and answering questions that I can't connect to the database

    Hello

When I run the listener his race of my former oracle home how change that

You must stop the listener of the old House and new start home. You may need to copy all the files from the old House to the new house network and change the oracle home location in all the files manually (or) you can configure the new listener of 12 at home.

To get an idea please see my blogpost:

  • Impdp not connect to the database without error returns

    Kind regards.

Please ask your usual support, motivated, that I am facing a strange problem.

I recently did an expdp of different actions, the database on which the export is carried out version 10.2.0.4 Now, I'm doing impdp on a database whose version is 10.2.0.5.

The Datapump not return any errors, does not seem to connect to the database, the impdp log shows:

    ;;;

    Import: Version 10.2.0.5.0 - 64 bit Production on Friday, August 7, 2015 11:13:43

Copyright (c) 2003, 2007, Oracle.  All rights reserved.

    ;;;

Connected to: Oracle Database 10 g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64 bit Production

With the partitioning, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options

I wonder if this is a bug or compatibility of version of the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards.

The first thing I see is that you specify on the impdp command expdp.par.  This can work, but don't forget, there are expdp parameters that do not work in impdp. This should give an error, but not knowing what is in the file, it is difficult to see what might happen.

You can add trace = ff0b00 and then watch to see is it y * dw*.trc files were created.  If not, then it is failing in the treatment of your settings and you want to in the last * dm*.trc file can help out you.

  • Unable to connect to the database GGSCI

  • HP DV6T-1300 lost connectivity to the internet, error display 701

I have a laptop HP DV6T - 1300 Entertainment who has lost connectivity to the internet, and it displays error 701. All of my diagnostic checks, I think that he has lost the pilot because he does not have a wireless card. I downloaded the drivers wireless (five each) HP support and assumes that the Realtek driver is the original. What is the purpose of all other drivers (Broadcom, Atheros, Wireless & Bluetooth Pro) and they need to be installed or not? They are updated day or improvements or are drivers for the other cards in different models of this computer? I use the laptop for my wife to access the net until I fix this. Thanks in advance!

After that to install the Realtek driver (original), I discovered that the software does not recognize that there is a wireless card. In my view, the map is part of the motherboard and may have failed. I suspect that my best solution may be to buy an external wireless card and install it. Any suggestions?

I don't know exactly what happened, but after restarting a couple of times, the wireless card started working again. He works actually better than what he has. The downloaded driver was an updated version, and this may explain the improvement.

Different cards for different models of different computers in your model class.  You only need the driver for your system.

The updated driver for your model of correction probably your problem.  The fact that it works better than before is, of course, a plus.

If you don't already have it, here is the wireless connection manager:

  • Administration client OBIEE 11 g tool - cannot connect to the database.

    Hello

I installed OBIEE 11 g on linux platform and installed 11g admin client tool in windows server.

My database is installed on another server (not in the installed tool of client machine). I created the ODBC DSN in the windows machine. But when I create the new repository and when I give the credentials for the database to connect I get connection failed.

I don't have any customer database oracle installed on the windows machine. Is there something to configure on windows server?

Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    MK.

I installed the client 11g and one more thing that missed me is the setting of the variable of environment path in windows machine. Whenever I tried to connect to the database through the RPD, it seeks the oracore11.dll file. I mentioned the location of the oracore11.dll file in the path variable, and everything worked fine for me

    Kind regards

I created 3 users of UCR and who were all successful, because I have no error... of these three alone is managed in the configuration tree SOA...

    No idea why like that...

    Thank you

This that I solved it by installing EMP 11.1.2.2 with UCR and SOA 11.1.1.6...
