  You should check whether the installation file downloaded is for the device you have - of Device Manager.

  Chipset depends on what processor you have.
  Utility Intel chipset needs, etc. management interface.

  Try these steps and check if that helps:

  a. Click Start, click Control Panel and then double-click System.

  b. click on the Hardware tab.

  c. expand sound, video and game controllers.

  d. double-click the sound card and then click on the driver tab.

  e. click on uninstall the driver.

  f. follow the Hardware Update Wizard to update the sound card driver.

  Hello!

  I have a problem with my files. It started with the files that I use constantly, so it took me longer to find this problem.

  So I have the usual folders in Vista: music, games, images,... but they moved, and I don't know I don't. The music folder has been moved in the Games folder, the download folder has been moved to the pictures folder and so on with my other records. What's worse, is that I can't bring back in the place which is theirs because the computer says that I have no administrator rights, but I am the administrator. I ran Kaspersky antivirus and it found no virus, this problem is growing since now most of the records have become subfolders in God knows where!

  What should I do? I really want to restart my computer.

  May be the remains of malicious programs. Go to start/run type msconfig. Look under Startup. If this entry is here, there uncheck and then restart your computer

  It's always haapening, if you substitute any element on the page and later master you reapply the same or another master. I would NEVER say to replace any itme master page in the page. Instead create another master based on the first, make the substitutions and apply this master. Substitutions on the pages should be avoided in all cases, not only for the problem you described above, other issues of accessibility will also come into play.

  I recently got another computer desktop with windows xp professional is installed.  I had problems with it just go out if I was on the internet or not.  It came with a cd titled reinstalling cd Microsoft Windows xp professional service pack 3.  I ran the disk, but not I get the message of synchronization microsoft feeds doming upward and when I go looking for an address in my toolbar or type in there I get the search key not found do not.  Can you help me?

  You could try to disconnect your computer from the internet for a day or two and see if that stops spam.

  Adding another antivirus program without first uninstall your current antivirus is NOT recommended - antivirus problems tend to see many parts of other antivirus programs as quite similar to the virus that they should treat them as viruses.

  However, there is another class of programs called antispyware programs you can try.  Windows Defender is one of them, then you might want to try first.  Programs in this class rarely interfere with each other, so you can more safely than installed.

  Three other possibilities to check:

  1. a spammer could find your login information for your e-mail account and started sending the spam using your account, but without using your computer at all.  In this case, change the password on your email account is quite often, so try that.  Make sure your new password is near the maximum length of the mail server allows, to make very slow computer programs through all possible guesses what it might be.  Also, try to include all classes or the characters (often the lowercase letters, capital LETTERS, numbers, and special characters) to slow down such a program even more.  In this case, you will probably also need to communicate with the people who run this server to make sure they don't deactivate your account.

  2. a spammer may have found just your email address and started using it on the spam without sending it on the same e-mail server that you use.  In this case, you need the headers of some spam messages to do much.  Most header lines are not normally indicated when you look at the email; additional steps to show them depend strongly on what e-mail program you want to show them.

  3. If your computer allows remote access connections, the spammer may guessed your username and password for your computer.  In this case, a change of password, but on your computer instead, is probably necessary.  You can also search for remote connections and how to disable them in the help file for your computer.  Among e-mail programs have a folder "sent", then you can check the spam messages here.  Also, the spammer may have created an extra account on your computer until you find the complete list of accounts and check the folder "sent" for each account.on this list.

  I walked into a black screen, the other day with a msg as "windows has no start... something of new material (I has not installed all) the computer at the time I was able to boot from the dell vista disc, and I was following some common tasks found on these issues and other forums... let recovery attempt to repair the startup. , the system restore, chkdsk, bcdedit, etc.. othing worked. the hard drive seems ok, as chkdsk reports no errors, but now things have degraded to the point where when I try to start the computer from the disk and go to the menu of repair, it is not showing the BONE and asks me to load the drivers for the hard disk. I see again all the windows files listed when using cmd prompt tree so I think it's mostly still there... but most of the solutions seem to require or be able to run in safe mode, or at least to select the operating system to repair mode. Since I can't do either, is there any hope? I still have to try to save our personal files somehow (I never have) my wife will kill me if I lose its itunes and I don't know yet why this is happening. What is my next step?

  No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here is
  a few others.

  You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer or an external hard drive enclosure, then
  saving them. Either will allow you to copy the files from removal of media such as CD, DVD, or
  other external USB drives. Do this using several methods to redundantly. Of course, a real
  computer store or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files. The methods below may also
  helping you acquire the ability to have some access to the system using Windows or Safe Mode.

  You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
  Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
  on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

  A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
  ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
  on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
  repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.

  Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
  That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
  Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a

  field efforts.
