OBIEE 11G - how to find automatically physical table using a report

Hi all

Is it possible to take a catalog of reports and retrieve the complete list of database tables that use these reports. Suppose I have a
great list of reports may be 200 or more and I need to know what are the tables of these reports (analysis) are dependent on. Clearly, I could open an andextract the XML definition but I want to automate this process

Best regards

Benoit

The XML definition does not have the physical database table - it doesn't even SQL logic.

SQL logic is generated when executing of referral Services, which sends it to the BI server, which then decides what physical tables, it will hit. Even in this case, according to things like global navigation your report even likely face different DB tables depending on the State of the hierarchical columns etc.

SampleApp includes some features that may be interesting for you - take a look at the dashboard page 10.21 physics of the Clause and see details on 10.11 (physical SQL Generator / physics of the Analyzer of the Clause).

    You can make cacheable table by clicking twice on the table or go to the properties of the table. You can designate specific time duration for the year, month, days need to keep cacheable. Remember do this on the base tables will affect all alias tables.

    The ALL_DEPENDENCIES view has hierarchical information based on object_id

    The view object has the object_type.

    Create a hierarchical query on the first view and attach it to the second view.

    Or you can use the utldtree.sql file in the installation of the DB admin folder. Comments initially show you how a hierarchical query based on the object type.

  • How to find the ADF version used in a deployment archive?

    Hello

    When I get an ear/war file from a developer I want to deploy on a Weblogic Server it would be nice to be able to verify that the ADF version developers used is the same that is installed on the server.

    I tried to look at different deployment files but I can't find anything about it. Can anyone help?

    I can see the JSF version but noting on ADF.

    What about Peter

    I see your problem but do not see how you can get the information of just the EAR file as long as it is not put there by purpose. The required information is part of the jars that are installed on the servers. They are not part of the ear, but are only referenced.

    For the server side, I've written a web service that I install on each server (managed server that runs to the ADF, run time). This service at least tell me the version installed on the server. You can find the service including the source to my blog http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2012/02/05/adf-how-to-find-out-which-adf-version-is-installed-on-a-manged-weblogic-server/.

    There was a discussion on this forum and the ADFEMG google Group discuss how to know what the newer version (from sources of a project) was used to develop the App. Unfortunately, today you can't get a definitive answer to this. There is an ER out for it to allow in the future (http://java.net/jira/browse/ADFEMG-70).

  • How to find the security protocol used by a site in firefox to version 24.6.0

    I'm unable to find the security protocol used by the site, either SSL or TLS 1.0 or 1.2.

    I see my answer above is marked as useless, so I guess it doesn't help for Firefox 24.

    You should be able to see which version of the TLS Protocol and encryption to agree to the current use of press.
    You can use the above posted extension or check in the Security tab of the Web Console (Firefox/tools > Web Developer).
    24 Firefox supports only TLS 1.0 (security.tls.version.max = 1), so that only leaves you with Protocol to guess.

    In Firefox 24 you have the Security tab in "tools > Page Info > Security" to see what level of encryption is used, and you do not see what costume of encryption is used.
    To find you would have to disable any combination of encryption algorithm by setting the Pref security.ssls false and allow both until you get a secure connection.

  • How to find out really currently used physical memory and swap space of hard disk to the virtual computer running?

    Suppose that I'm leaving WinXP hostOS a guestOS. Then a part of this guestOS remain in physical memory and another part is deployed on hard drive in the swap file resp swap partition.

    First question: the complete *.vmdk loaded into memory/swap space or only the part that is currently required?

    Perhaps only a *.vmdk 800 MB / 3GB is really responsible. But these 800 MB could be extended to 2 GB, because the content of these 800 MB is not compressed during load or guestOS drivers allocate additional memory.

    *. VMDK size seems so NO indicator for the actual amount of used memory / swap.

    How will I know how much physical (a) memory and (b) the hard disk swap space EXACTLY is currently occupied by a certain virtual machine running?

    mattad wrote:

    The vmdk is not loaded into memory, because it is the drive of the virtual machine.

    Yes, of course not. The memory used by the client is not related to the size of hard but the RAM assigned in the options of hardware reviews.

    How will I know how much physical (a) memory and (b) the hard disk swap space EXACTLY is currently occupied by a certain virtual machine running?

    Open the Task Manager and find a task vmware - vmx.exe or vmware-vmx - debug.exe.

    The swap file should be used if you have chosen to allow that VMware Workstation is authorized to Exchange. The file where swaps to door expansion .vmem Workstation. Search folder of comments.

    Hello

    DBVerify reports two logical corruptions and physical intra-block by default. A good starting point would be to go through the MOS score below to understand.

    Logical and physical block corruptions. Everything you wanted to know on this subject. (Doc ID 840978.1)

    Basically, you will not be able to read data in the blocks in physical corruption corrupt some time may be able to read the data into logical corruption.

    In addition, DBVerify report the errors of DBV-200/201 to logical corruption.

  • How to find the physical hostname of the client used to connect to a linked view clone

    Our environment consists of Windows XP Professional workstations running the view client 4.0.  They are connecting to a connection manager view 4.0 that has a non-persistante linked server cloning pool, also the workstations XP Professional. We have two servers of connection manager, it allows direct connect.

    Is there a way to find the name of the physical device that they log in with?  I believe that when we use the Wyse terminals, the device name is passed to the NAME environment variable.  However when we use the view client, this value is set to "console" or "RDP - Tcp #1".

    I tried to test this with PCoIP and RDP, direct connection and pass through.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    What you will find, is the agent of view creates a number of user environment variables that give the details of the customer such as IP address, name and MAC address. What we have seen is that these variables are not necessarily available during logon, even if they are in 'HKCU\Volatile' If you want to take action based on an attribute of client device for things like mapping printers.

    Example of variables is:

    ViewClient_Broker_Remote_IP_Address=192.168.0.231
    ViewClient_Machine_Domain=appsense
    ViewClient_Machine_Name=APWAARC04
    ViewClient_MAC_Address=54-B3-80-DA-63-08
    ViewClient_Type=Windows

  • How to find the child tables

    Hello

    y at - it (quesry) way to find the list of children tables for a given table.

    tried to interview user_constraints and USER_CONS_COLUMNS, but not be able to find a way.

    Thank you

    Hello

    You can use the query as follows - it will list the children tables and the FK name for table HR.JOBS:
    Select
    a.Owner, a.table_name, a.constraint_name
    sys.all_constraints a.,
    (select master, constraint_name from sys.all_constraints where owner = * 'HR' * and table_name = * "JOBS" * and constraint_type in ('P', 'U')) b
    where
    a.CONSTRAINT_TYPE = 'R' and a.r_constraint_name = b.constraint_name and a.r_owner = b.owner

    If you do not need name FK, then put separate:
    Select
    a.owner, separate a.table_name
    sys.all_constraints a.,
    (select master, constraint_name from sys.all_constraints where owner = 'HR' and table_name = 'JOBS' and constraint_type in ('P', 'U')) b
    where
    a.CONSTRAINT_TYPE = 'R' and a.r_constraint_name = b.constraint_name and a.r_owner = b.owner
