  Im working in obiee 11.1.1.5.0.I created a new user and tried to view a dashboard I created the user weblogic. But it dispalyed the following error.

  In my understanding, when a new user is created, even if it is not assigned to any role he has rights to see all dashboards. So, what will be the reason for this error? Can someone provide me with a solution?

  That's because of restrictions on access in the RPD, able to see all the dbs user suppose to have access to the user privileges for materials.

  After several surveys, the problem is identified as - Java Out of Memory.

  A update the JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS to 2048 m in the oraparam.ini file.

  Restart the OBIEE Configuration using config.bat file

  Create domains through fine.

  I use the user scott to test a database of rdf using oracle 11.2.0.2 contained in oracle developer days. I granted resources, create session, create table, and create the tablespace to scott. I am able to create a tablespace under scott. I also used the Panel OEM granting many privileges in roles, access privileges and privileges of the object to scott. However, I am still not able to create the network rdf under scott. The error indicates sufficient privileges to create the NETWORK of RDF. How can I grant a privilege to scott to create a network of rdf? Thank you very much.

  Salvation Hong,

  Yes. It is in order. You must first create semantic networks as a user with DBA privileges. After that, you can build semantic models with a less privileged user.

  I have table T with SELECTION privilege granted on this issue both a role and a specific user.
  
  I am using SQL * Developer to revoke the privilege SELECT on this table of the individual user and leave the role.
  
  I can see how to revoke the role by right-clicking on the table and goes to the privileges-> revoke but I can't find where to choose a specific user to revoke of.
  
  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Hi Gary,.

  You are probably aware of the SQL syntax of base to make grant and revoke of SQL * more or the SQL Developer Worksheet:

  grant select on .T to ;
  revoke select on .T from ;
  

  To reach the equivalent to revoking of SQL Developer Connection Navigator...
  1. open the connection for
  2 expand the Tables node, and then open the object for table T browser.
  3. click on the grants tab and then, in its toolbar, select Actions->-> Revoke privileges
  4. Select in the drop-down list of the dialog box to remove user Action.
  5 shuttle privilege SELECT from the right back to the left, and then click apply.

  One would expect to be able to do the same thing from say the node under the node for the use of the SYSTEM for other users, but this isn't the case.

  userOperationsIntf.revokeObject API
