  does anyone know how to avoid the factual constraint when you create a report with two filters on different dimensions?
  
  I have a fact table big with more than 10 million lines. In the starmodel is the customer of the dimension and the products. I create a filter on the customer atrribute 'Status' and set to 'active '. Now I add the "Product Type" column of the dimension 'Product' in the filter section. When I want to choose a value OBIEE executes a select statement in the fact table. So I have to wait very long to select a value. Is it possible to say OBIEE only to select the dimension table without joining the fact table?

  Use is implied.

  Create a table of facts of the DUMMY and make also implied made for this dimension column. It will solve the problem.

  Since it has many common files between two test programs, I built two applications in a single project. Then I need to build two installers for applications accordingly. I'm having trouble to add the second request in the second installer when I specify the source files in the Installer properties. When I select this pack of applications according to the specifications of construction, I can't add it to the destination for the Installer folder. When I second request pack and destinatioin selected times record, the up arrow (to add files in the left pane to the right pane) turns into grey (not clickable). However, I found that, if I select the first pack of application according to the specifications of construction, the arrow turns direct. But I don't want to add to the first application for my second application installer.

  The problem I had was on the construction itself. I had not gone far enough to install it.

  After you remove the duplicate Installer and created a new one from scratch, everything worked as expected (from build for installation in the execution of the program).

  Keep in mind that since you already have Windows 7 Pro, you have another option more integrated.  You can download and install the XP Mode which is free and works as another task under Windows 7.  It works fine as long as you can live with the limited graphics provided.  I see with my home system, graphics card 16-bit with something as resolution 960 x 768.  If I had a higher resolution monitor, the chart may be a bit better, I use a TV 720 p to 32 "for a monitor (HDMI connected), but I know that MS has voluntarily limited the graphics of XP Mode because they did not want it to be used for the games.

  For our development system we want to switch between two clients to view, each one connected to our server to view with another user.  We opened a session with elevated permissions, program changes, the other logged on with restricted permissions to see how the changes affect the production environment.  Is this possible?

  Currently we have to disconnect from the view completely Client session and reconnect the server to display with the alternative credentials.

  Hi santhoshbon,

  Are you sure that you get a record with a NULL value or are you just can't get a record at all? There is a great misunderstanding about the lack of data compared to data with a NULL value.

  If you really a NULL value which crosses, then all you have to do is use the IFNULL(MY_MEASURE,0) and you will represent at least a 0 instead of NULL.

  If you have no trace in your fact table for this combination of your dimensions, while you do kind of thing of data densification. Here are a few options:

  (1) query use Nico logical substitute to the densification of the data: http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/logical_sql/obiee_sql_densification
  (2) outerjoin bypass to implement John Minkjan in the report: Outer Join work-around
  (3) implement a real outer join to the RPD: joins OBIEE
  (4) to add missing dimensional data points, use the combine with a similar request.

  My guess is that you do not get a NULL value. I'm guessing that you have data scattered and you will need to use one of the methods above to work around this problem.

  If you want the pop up on several pages, you will need to put on several pages. Or you can add the link to the pop up as well as the pop up itself to a model and create the pages that you want that pop - up using this model. You can try is to have your pop on a page in itself no model or other content and then add the page to another page using an iFrame.

  I'm not quite clear on your question. You hope to have two users or two emails using the same account of Revel? If so, the only way I think to do that is to have one user become a premium member and sharing together their library with the other user who has another email. Then the two users can add photos to all the albums in a library. Here is a link to the share if you plan to do this. This is different from pooling where you send someone a URL to view an album. Such sharing does not require the recipient to have an account or sign in to see the pictures.

  I'm having a problem of understanding of documentation on populating a DataGrid of two dimension collection ArrayCollection. My situation is that I have a DataGrid with a bunch of information, currently stored in a two-dimensional array (digital in the first dimension and by field name in the second dimension). I also have a bunch of data streaming from an XMLSocket, which, when it happens, is analyzed, resulting in one of the fields of the table in need of update. I can do very well with the table directly, but I can't try to understand how use the ArrayCollection collection features to cross this two-dimensional structure - setItemAt() does not seem suited for this purpose? I need to trigger the effects on the relevant cell that has been updated, when I round coding, so I will try to use some structure that handles update events and others for me automatically, such as the ArrayCollection collection.
  
  I do not know is still the best technique to use, and the intermediate level (the ArrayCollection collection and others) could be changed completely, so if you can suggest (and illustrate, if she is as confused as this!) a better method, I would be grateful.
