  I wish I could the URL redirects. I'm under XE with Application Express 2.1.0.00.39.
  
  I want to be able to have a URL like www.schoolwebsite.com and when the user presses on it - have redirect to the page of the Apex for the application. I thought I had to use a redirect in the configuration file HTTP and that XE used Oracle_HTTP and I have set up this way.
  
  But I can't find an Apache Directory.
  
  1. what HTTP server is used with XE and Application Express 2.1.0.00.39?
  2. can I set up for this type of redirection?
  3. do I need to install a HTTP server for this?

  I found "Disaster recovery (replace the user's machine)" will perform the same action as the 'migration Hardware' option Assistant in common.

  no problem to do with your hardware and NI-CAN frame API.

  However, you must implement the Diag and Services Transport layer on your own, which is quite a big job.

  I recommend you spend the money for automotive diagnostic command set that supports

  • NOR-XNET
  
  
  • cRIO/985 x target (Pharlap and VxWorks) #.

  which means that if you plan to transfer your application in the future to different hardware target or the real-time target, that you don't need to change your app at all.

  I suggest you to check records in management if you see E: drive?

  A. click Start, type in diskmgmt.msc search box and check if you're able to drive E: see.

  We have in time real copy changes of the drive Bay to PROD server to the drive Bay PREPRODUCTION server for database servers, server FDM and Essbase servers.

  Now my question is, can the above PREPRODUCTION server that receives the data from PROD in real-time, act as a UAT Server?

  By UAT server, I mean, the developers will make changes to metadata and rules in DEV server and even load in the above mentioned PREPRODUCTION server and when successful, the same will be loaded into the Production finally.

  Now could you please tell me if the PREPRODUCTION can act as a UAT for them, as it is copied from the PROD in real-time?

  In reality, it will not work.

  Assuming that your disaster recovery application works by taking tables and copy those above, you will copy the metadata/rules with her.  If you do not copy those, then your backup is not valid for a disaseter recovery.

  Since the metadata/rules are copied from PROD, the work done by developers would be replaced.

  If your Backup DR process moves only data/logs and reconsolidate, so yes, in theory, it could work, but your DR process missing crucial files needed to make the application work.  Not to mention, there is the possibility of the backup fails when metadata is out of synce between the two.

  All in all, not something I would say.  You are better to keep separate UAT and DR.

  Its a production server, my project went live, a few weeks before. After two weeks my ISP asked me to change the delimiter setting of * to,.
  I then to the deployment, Quisced tab, retired, purge the existing configurations, and then I did the changes, approved the agreement and TP and recreated the (config) deployment even once, it happened successfully, but WE are unable to see the old transactions.
  
  Could someone help me how to make any changes without purging,

  Hi Suni,

  In B2B of Oracle 10g, it is mandatory. You must transfer the configuration (after quisceing and retirement) each time you make any change in the configuration.

  but WE are unable to see the old transactions.

  Once an old configuration gets served, messages related to it would not be included in the report, but they must exist in the DB tables. You can take an export (from the console) to the existing messages each time before you purge the old configuration to keep a backup copy of copy paper.

  If we simply pull out, wiothout purge, it shows error that name already exists.

  Two configurations with the same name cannot co-exist, and whence this error.

  We are working on plans for our recovery after disaster in our VMWare environment.  We have a recovery Site which has a NETAPP file server we reproduce our VM data warehouse and SQL data.   We have no RS, but must be able to test if possible disaster recovery with Production upwards.   Is it possible to configure a VLAN and do a test isolated Dr. without SRM?   Thank you

  Welcome to the VMware communities forum.

  You can create a VLAN without SRM.  You will need to properly set up your network hardware, and then you add new virtual machine port groups to your ESXi hosts.  You can then save the virtual machines by giving them a different name and starts in isolation.  When you attempt to save the virtual machines they will always have a reference for the port VM production group so you'll want to make sure you update you turn on.

  Have you used the new HARD drive with the same size?

  Probably the image of Toshiba is unable to configure the system due to the size of the HARD drive.
  But to be honest: the size of the HARD drive should not be a problem and so it's just a guess

  However, the fact is that the Toshiba Recovery disk would fix the laptop back to factory settings. This means that even the new HARD disk should be partitioned and the same partitions can be created on the new HARD drive.

  You could overcome this procedure using a Microsoft Windows installation disc.
  Of course the Toshiba drivers must be downloaded separately from the Toshiba page and installed after the installation of the Windows System.

  You must configure the TC for the network.

  It keeps default back to "add a new network.

  So, it's OK... The TC is part of an existing network or makes a new.

  You must connect to the TC network... either wireless or ethernet.

  However, you can manually configure the TC simply plug ethernet for example.

  See, cable using Time Capsule for Mac for backup only.

  The same can be done for the wireless... but a TC is really the bad device for backups if you don't have a network... It's cheaper, faster and more reliable by using a USB key.
