  Could you please help me understand - patch which apply in 12 c 12.1.0.4 OEM - PSU or Budle patch ?  By doc - id - SEM 12.1.0.4.0 (PS3) Bundle Patch Master list for Plug-ins (side SGC and Agent) and Agent (Doc ID 1900943.1)-

  which of the below mentioned patch to be applied in the OMS?

  We recently upagraded our 12.1.0.2 in 12.1.0.4 OEM with software using update option during the upgrade, so none of the PSU are applied to the OEM. Now, we want to apply the latest patches to OEM that fixes all the bugs and bugs/titles.

  Yes, they are mutually exclusive so you must apply the PSU & the patch Bundle/Plugin system to get the complete set of SGD fixed side.

  These steps are in accordance with article 'SPECIAL POST PATCH APPLY INSTRUCTIONS for APPLICATION SERVER' and you don't need to follow them here - you can connect a sR and confirm the same with Oracle support.

  Our client has Oracle 11.2.0.1 installed. We are trying to understand whether it is possible to apply some patchsets 11.2.0.1 to join 11.2.0.2? We understand that 11.2.0.2 is an entirely separate version and there are ways to put 11.2.0.1 in 11.2.0.2, but we wonder if we kept with applying all the set provided Oracle patch does mean that our database is not to 11.2.0.2?

  Not to worry - to 11.2.0.2, you must apply the 11.2.0.2 patch set - there is no other way that I know.

  I also know that there is a way to put 11.2.0.1 in 11.2.0.2 following the steps for example here (http://www.mydbspace.com/?p=58), but I don't want to do that. Our client is to be filled by a 3rd party with a system that already has 11.2.0.1 and we cannot simply install another version of oracle. We are trying to understand if it is not possible to go from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2 by simply applying puts the patch for this version, then our customer may request the just 3rd party at 11.2.0.2 level or more.

  First check part of the patch readme. If its mention "you must close all the application layer" that you can't apply patch hot patch.

  Does anyone know how to get a list of the updates of critical patches already applied on a system.
  
  I am aware that 11.5.10.2 with ATG 6 from all CPU is cumulative. But I also think that it is not applied no current way to get a list of CPU - Oracle have not yet created a script for this. According to me, that the only is to examine each document CPU and try to crossmatch the number of patch from ad_bugs.

  There must be more than + 11.1.1.6.4 for 7.9.6.4 BI applications

  Run the query in [351900.1 ID] (which is referenced by EBSDBA above) under the objective section and it should tell you whether or not these products/modules are installed, and what level of patches, you're on.

  I imported my first OLAP cube, by following the instructions here < /a > < a href = "http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/db/11g/r1/olap/biee/createbieemetadata.htm" > and apply the security filter required to force the star join between views of dimension and cube. However, the security filter does not apply to users in the user administrator of BI Group. Is it possible to do this without a security filter, or somehow apply the filter of security even when the user is an administrator?

  You seem to have found a good document to start from.

  The use of OLAP with OBIEE is a two-step process.

  (1) you set (and building) the cubes of AWM.

  (2) tell you these cubes OBIEE.

  Before OBIEE 11.1.1.5, the only way to make (2) was to use the AWM plugin and card views OBIEE cube generated. But from 11.1.1.5 you can "import" instead, the cubes using a dialog box in OBIEE administration tool. OBIEE will generate different SQL depending on the approach you take.

  One of the things we need to do is to apply the patch for 10g R2 for 11.5.9 interoperability (patch 4653217).
  
  Here is my question: can we apply this patch in advance? We plan to apply this hotfix, this weekend, our users will have the system M-Thursday next week, and then Friday, we will do the 9i to 10g DB upgrade.

But when I followed the link to download the patch (https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/ui/patch/PatchDetail.jspx? & patchId = 22061111) it says platform: Microsoft Windows x 64 (64-bit)

  Finally, I contacted Support Oracle. There are two different links to patch 22061111, one for the Windows x 64 patch and another for Linux x 64, I had to search the patch 22061111 specifically in patches and updates tab & in My Oracle Support to see both, so I could download the Linux patch. No doubt the links will be corrected in a few hours, but just in case someone has this problem too.
