  Is it possible to account for two different subjects areas, i.e., a report that contains fields from two different areas? If so, how could we select fields from two different disciplines in a single report of responses?

  One thing to understand is that if you're imagining having two areas (SAs) poster and then by dragging the columns of each in your application without any preparation, then no, that cannot be done. You would need to make a join in the MDB layer and expose the column of the second subject area in the presentation layer.

  But if you indeed interested in UNION (or cross) queries, then do this:

  Build your first application in the first SA in the usual way. Note the number of columns and the data types of each column.

  Now at the bottom of the workspace of criteria, there is a button called "Combined with application similar." Until it clicks.

  Select your second. You will notice that the contours of the columns in your first query appear. This is to remind you that the number of columns in this second query must be the same as in the first. It also shows the data type of each column for the same reason.

  Once you select your columns and your filters, click result. (Oh, you need to decide what kind of combination you want - click the menu drop down.) The result will be a new application that has data from two SAs in the query and combined in the way you select (union, intersection, etc.)

  This should give you a start.

  I'm working on a program for homework indicating E5.4) using a single eLoop Whil, build a VI that runs a loop N times or until the user presses a button. Be sure to include the time delay Exress Vi so that the user has time to press the stop botton.

  I am doing this right now, but it seems I can connect only one thing at the stop sign onto th while loop. It won't let me connect a comparison between iterations and N as well as the stop button at the stop sign onto all loop. So, how would I be able to structure so that it stops if it receives a true Boolean value of one of the 2 sources (both whichever)?

  Basically, I can't thread the result of the comparison of N and iterations as well as the stop button the stop on the loop about button to put an end. is there a solution?

  Look in the Boolean palette for something similar for the word highlighted in red above.

  I suggest you to save music downloaded to the location of music library (Libraries\Music) files, it automatically adds the Windows media player files.

  You can also manage the library and add the location where files are saved.

• Is it possible to have the audio from two different sources and routed to separate outputs at the same time?

  I currently have a string of the guitar signal electric-Rocksmith Real Tone cable - ASIO 4 all help IK Multimedia Amplitube 3.   I would like to know if I could also watch DVD with her while the implementation of the programme of Amplitube with sound.  It would be great that I use the DVD for guitar and play at the same time.   I don't have the signal of two merged as one.  In my mind, I should be able to disable the ASIO devices and use them with DirectX as usual.  I could send the ampitube signal to the headphones and use external speakers for the guitar signal, and use the lessons of speakers for the DVD (or maybe YouTube) laptop on board.

  Is this possible?

  Yes.  For example, I have my Skype phone calls go to my helmet (normal just plugged in the headset) while my media player plays my speakers.  You can choose your default communication or multimedia devices with a right click on the volume control icon and choosing "playback devices".

  Other programs can also be built to be "to the output current" and allow you to choose the output too.

• Simultaneous inputs from different sources

  I am creating a resistively heated wire heating unit.  What I had planned to do, is to connect the wire to a programmable DC power supply that I would link to a USB-232 (Jack single port RS232).  I also want to integrate some temperature readings of a thermocouple placed near the heating unit.  I would connect the thermocouple to one of the analog channels of a PCI-6259 (M series).  Already, we have the PCI-6259 (and the connection block), but so far have not bought the power supply DC or USB-232.  Until we buy these, anyone know if this configuration is still possible?  I wasn't sure if it would be possible to have two separate entries, enter LabVIEW from two different sources (USB and PCI) simultaneously.  Also, are there any other ways I could do it easier?  I looked into analogue programmable power supplies DC, which I was in control of the PCI-6259, but these seem to be still more expensive than RS 232 controlled ones.

  Hi Stephen.

  You can have devices to multiply the input/output, how you design your code will detemin how well that work. The USB port can produce at the same time as the PCI card is entered. The channels you create what you will specify aquire and when.

  It's strange, I tested a couple of times in different ways, but cannot understand why this happens. I'll try to brake it down to be clear, I can:

  I picked up a uiLoader component, and copy - paste four times, so now I had five of them in my flash movie. Each obtained from a different source (dresses/dresses1.swf dresses/dresses2.swf, dresses3.swf/dresses, dresses/dresses4.swf, dresses/dresses5.swf). But when I run the movie, all 5 uiLoaders display the same content: dresses/dresses2.swf and I do not understand why. For a test, I replaced the file .swf with some JPEGs and they were ok, but as I put the swf files they show the same content again.

  The sources are ok, they work perfectly separately, so I can't understand what is the reason why the SWFs are loaded correctly...

  No doubt, you are referring to the visual aspect, since the data are the same. One of them uses a different type of indicator of the chain. You probably click right and choose 'create-> Indicator '. When you perform this LabVIEW will use the same style of indicator as what sub-VI/uses. In case you made directly from the PDM function, but the other was created between the autoindex loop tunnel for, in the second he used everything that was default in your preferences.

  I ran into a snag though.

  I want to change so that my graphic loop receives notifications of data from two sources of acquisition by the declarant.

  I have trouble getting the data from the two sources to display on one graph.

  I've isolated the problem in the attached vi.

  Here's what happens:

  1. I create 2 parallel loops data and send the data to a third parallel loop with the notifiers.

  2. the third loop receives data from one of the loops because one of the authors of just receiving notifications is to expire instead of receive data.

  Can anyone suggest how can I fix?

  Here's my modification of your VI. I put notes on the block diagram to explain the changes. He uses a queue for data transfer to avoid data loss. It uses a notifier to stop loops. All local variables and value property nodes have been eliminated.

  The way loops are arrested probably let some data in the queue. No more of one or two iterations of each of the loops of data acquisition. If you need ensure that all data has been displayed (or recorded in a real application), then you must stop acquiring loop first and read the queue until you know it's empty and both other loops stopped. Then stop the render loop and release the queue and the notifier.

• Creating reports with JasperReports

  Hello guys,.

  I need to generate different reports (PDF format) in my apex application. I read about the use of reports jasper in different forums, so I tried to use it for my reports.

  I created the Group 6.1 of jasperreports-Server tomcat version and installation of postrge. Everything worked well and I can connect to the web interface of my reportsserver. I have also created a test with the iReportDesigner report.

  But now I don't know what is the next step.

  How do I load/put the file on my server? What im needing file, .jasper or .jrxml?

  And how to call the apex/Oracle report? Do I have to install some packages, or something?

  IM using the oracle database 11g 2 with EPG and apex version 4.2.6 on 13.2 openSUSe.

• A target table is in charge of two different sources but the same columns, but a source is one database and another in a flat file.

  I have a business problem to implement in ODI 11 G. It's here. I'm trying to load a target table from two sources that have the same column names. But a source is to the file format and the other is in the Oracle database.

  That's what I think I'll create two mappings in the same interface by using the Union between the sources. But I don't know how the interface would connect to different logical architecture to connect to two different sources.

  You are on the right track, all in a single interface. Follow these steps

  (1) pull model of your data in the designer of the source file and your table model target to the target pane.

  (2) all relevant columns map

  (3) in the source designer to create a new dataset and choose as the UNION join type (this will create a separate tab in the source designer pane)

  (4) select the new dataset tab in the source designer pane and pull your source oracle table data model in the designer of the source. All columns that are relevant to the target card

  (5) make sure that your staging location is set to a relational technology i.e. in this case the target would be an ideal candidate because it is where the ODI will organize the data from source two files and oracle and perform the UNION before loading to the target

  There are two things you need to think.
  Not all data in the file 1 (or) 2 and therefore goes to Oracle. If yes then you must create a separate interface
  On the other
  If the data is loaded from a file, but the primary keys should be checked with the other files, then joins must be primary (or) of unique keys.

  While playback of your condition sounds like you need to load all the three files and then I would say go for three different interface.

  LKM - file to Oracle. Where the files are huge so go to SQLLDR (oracle)
  IKM - control IKM SQL Append (for the inserts only) (or) updated incremental for IKM Oracle (for insert and Update)

  TopLink supports a feature of SessionBroker. This allows classes in the same session to come from different sources of data and for the relations between the classes of data sources. It does not allow a single instance of direct data from multiple data sources, but the Forum could have a link with its data in the other data source.
