  and I declare the same variable in all the symbols of the scene:

  symbol var = "entrantes_sym";

  sym.setVariable ("symbol", symbol);

  then, inside the symbol called swipe_sym, I put this code:

  var point = sym.getParentSymbol ();

  var sym2 = stage.getVariable ("symbol");

  sym.getComposition () .getStage (). $(sym2) () .hide;

  swipe_sym symbol is a child of all the symbols of the scene.

  I have created a new master of the project and added a child project using RoboHelp 9 HTML to create a file HTML from Microsoft.  When I opened the master chm file, I can view the index for the complete project (master and child) as well as to search through the entire project.    Then I added another project of the child (after you have created an index in children) and rebuilt my master.  When I discovered the new master chm file, the index does not include second child, although it does not include the first child, and the search does not search the second child.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Maybe the path for the second child is hardcoded? Hhp open it in Notepad and check what it says the MERGED FILES section. If you don't see a name of file, everything is good. If you see a path as well, which could explain why the search and index do not work.

  I'm not sure how you would get a path for a project and not for the other hard-coded, but it's possible I think.

  There was a recent suggestion that a fix for the hard-coded path is to ensure that the child chm exists in the main project before creating the fusion in the table of contents. If you don't want to keep the child within the main project, the only solution I know is a double compilation (compilation, open the HHP file and remove the path information in the FILES FUSIONNES section, then recompile) whenever you build a final version of the help.

  I tried to change the "Indexing Options" but that is the problem.  It seems that any program that has a place in the "start > all programs" cannot be hidden by the Vista Start button search engine, no matter what you do in the "Indexing Options".

  Is there maybe a way to remove programs from Sims of the ' Start > all programs "?  I would like to have in one place, preferably in a folder that I can give a name without a report and give the password.  And of course I need to hide all the search engine of the Start button.

  Yes you can delete it. Just right click on the entry in the list of programs all and select "Delete" from the menu.

  I need help to remove a symbol of the scene.  I have a list of symbols that are called to the scene at a time in a simulation. When the user leaves a symbol, it is supposed to remove itself and call one another symol (specific).  For example.  I called the 'AR-HistAims' symbol to the scene to help

  It works very well.  I have put an invisible button in the timeline of symbols and when clicked I want to do two things.

  1. call "AR-percPass" (using the same code as before with a percPass instead of HistAims)
  2. delete "AR-HistAims" of the scene.

  I can't get #2 to work.  I tried the codes below and above the code # 1.  When it is placed above, it removes the current symbol, but does not call the new.  When it is placed underneath, the new symbol appears at the top of the old.  The codes I used are:

  var childSymbols is sym.getComposition (.getSymbols("AR-HistAims"));.

  for (var i = 0; i < childSymbols.length; i ++)

  childSymbols [i] .deleteSymbol ();

  and

  Hi Randy,

  There are a few corrections, you must perform in the index_edgeAction.js as file as follows:

  1 in, click Manager, you do not have access to mouseX, offset, sx, sy etc.

  mySymbolObject.getSymbolElement () .css ({'position': 'absolute', 'left': (mouseX - offset.left) / sx, 'top': (mouseY - offset.top) /sy});

  So, do like this:

  mySymbolObject.getSymbolElement () .css ({'position': 'absolute', 'left': 0, 'top': 0});

  Do this kind of changes for each click handler where you used mouseX, offset, sx, sy, etc., with values of left and top.

  2. just search sym.getSymbolElement () .deleteSymbol (); and replace it by sym.deleteSymbol ();

  3 comment out the line #1366 with the instruction sym.deleteSymbol ();

  4. search for the sym.getSymbol (home) .deleteSymbol (); and replace all occurrences of these sym.getSymbol("home").deleteSymbol ();

  With the changes mentioned above, things will work.

  but which caused the designer...

  Or do I have to loop through all instances of the subform and disable individually each of them?

• How can I create and organize a symbol into the symbols in the Illustrator?

  I am trying to create a series of symbols for maps (North arrow, scale bars, etc.) and save them in the libraries of 'symbol' of the Illustrator - as the "cards".  The goal is that whenever I create a new Illustrator file, I can immediately grasp these newly created symbols without having to open another file and copy the line of the other file you want drawings (just trying to be more organized and efficient).

  I am at a loss. I understand how to make them in my drawing and break the link to change.  I also went as far to make a custom symbol and drag it onto the dialog box "Symbols" - but it wont let me to drag it into the dialog box "cards".  And even if I did drag a symbol in the dialog box - is it automatically saved?  There is no instructions on how to record the symbols the user creates.

• When I export a HTML element or publish on external FTP, Muse creates a 'active' folder and break all links to the images on these pages?

  Title says it all, I have a small site, I'm not a web designer, but I'm a graphic designer, so Muse was a big help with the work of web.  When I published the site / html export, it makes an active folder with secondary pages duplicated in it and nothing else.  In the root of the site, there is the original page2.html, page3.html, and page4.html.  I've linked my navigation buttons to these files, and when I exported, he created new files which broke all the links.  Any suggestions?
