  I have a request of "Bills" set iin IPM. I am trying to establish a connection between the ODC and IPM so that scanned and committed of the ODC files are stored in the Application "Bills" in IPM.
  
  For this I created a cab file in ODC profiles, scan, and index. Created and tested the connection using the I / PM 11 g driver validation and configure a direct validation to the IPM server.

  Description of the error indicates that the socket of the content server is not open. Thus, it could be used by the IPM server happy, is not started or this is a network error.

• Managing attachments & Imaging Solution

  If I had to install spare part managed so that users can attach their invoices to the e-Business Suite, is there an easy way to migrate documents to an imaging solution more further down the line? What I can say that the documents are available a little differently in each solution, so I prefer that they use one solution my organization decides to implement imaging and forms of recognition etc.

  Maybe, if anyone can help me understand how documents are technically attached to eBS during the use of imagery and I can answer my own question?

  When you use the imaging solution to attach documents to the EBS consists in reality of

  ODC/OFR mapping to---> Mapping Application IPM

  The mapping of Application IPM to---> process of payload of BPM / BPEL--->

  The payload of the BPM/BPEL process data provide procedure call using adapter in BPEL process as adapter DB written for EBS table to insert metadata into specific tables and documents are attached in the form of a URL given below:

  "http://: 10366/imaging/faces/Pages/UrlTools.jspx?" ToolName = AWVWR & DocumentId = 19.IPM_10000'

  NOTE: The EBS system stores these Imaging static URLs in the database. The table name is FND_DOCUMENTS. It falls under the APPLSYS of EBS schema.

• Driver configuration of validation for IPM 11 g in ODC

  I am configuring the driver for validation to a posting profile.
  
  I chose the I\PM Oracle 11 g Driver validation and clicked on Configure button.
  
  I click on Configure button, it appears an error message saying:
  
  Run Time Error '40009':*.
  The following error occurred configuring the driver validation. *
  Error number:-2147024773*.
  Error description: error Automation*.
  The filemane, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect. *
  
  Could someone help me on this, I'm missing any configuration or files?

  ODC/ODDC can commit to URM? I know he can commit to UCM & IPM. But can you commit to URM.

  I have not tested this integration but Kofax (also a software document of capture) allows to work with URM 10 g.

  This does not mean that they do not work: have you tried below url URM while committing the ODC in validation UCM driver?

  You can measure the latency. Just add the Windows host as an Ad Hoc under the IPM objective > Collection Management > devices. Then create your collector with desired source, this ad hoc goal and your operation Echo IP device. The reports will tell you when operations timed out, and what the latency was for the duration of the collector.

  Thanks for the information, I tried all the steps but I still facing an issue.

  I created a rule and added to the profile of the invoices (Application IPM)

  Of the Complutense University of Madrid when you use the same profile (bills) for the registration of the document it is folder specific (HR documents - folder name).

  But when trying to Upload IPM (under Tools) button, the document does not commit to the HR documents folder.

  I miss here a small settings, please you can guide me on this.

  I am new to Oracle Document Capture. I installed ODDC on my windows 7 machine and launching that I gave a few local DB references. Since then, I'm not able to open Capture of Document Oracle and I'm not able to change any installation. I am still getting error below and when you click on OK the window closes. I couldn't find any place where I can change this configuration.
