  We are able to do so by creating interfaces and mappings. But we now expect to do using SQL instead of ODI interfaces.

  If you try to load a db to another db using sql (sql free hand) instead of interfaces instructions.

  It is possible using procedures odi too.

  1. Select the project (designer navigator) odi mode

  2. create the new procedure. Then add the command.

  in this command on the source command on the tabs of the target.

  I created a variable with refreshing: select '< % = odiRef.getPrevStepLog ("SESS_NO") % >' FROM DUAL

  The error Code is:

  ODI-17769: OdiRef: ID internal 261 of the IObjects SnpSession should not be used when the repository is in mode 12 c.

  try to replace it by GLOBAL_ID = "<%=odiRef.getPrevStepLog("SESS_GUID")%>." »

  If you use KMs delivered with ODI, you must replace them with their corresponding versions of 12 c.

  If you have your own custom KMs, you must either adjust your KMs to use new odiRef methods that return the GUID of the object.

  or re - upgrade their repositories to use 11 g compatibility mode.

  Its better to have the installation of the agent in your local system. During the development, sometimes you may be interested in using the local agent for some purposes of R & D. As you connect the lies of the repository in the server, you can use the agent running inserver in your local system.

• BIAPPS-ODI authentication problem

  Hi friends,

  IM at biapps 11g with ODI 11 g. I configured connection odi in the studio and can properly connect to see these maps std BIAPPS in ODI.

  But 2 days before, im in the face of an authentication problem by connecting the ODI studio with the user who I connected successfully forward.

  The error that I'm facing here is the

  ODI: 26130: could not connect to the repository, ODI-10190: user dev_biadmin has his account has expired.

  Hi, Saro,

  Connection to studio ODI as a SUPERVISOR user. Go to ODI--> Switch authentication mode--> give your contact information to ODIREPO and sign in.

  You will get the message properly connected. Click the Security tab. try to connect as a SUPERVISOR. Once the connection is successful. Go to the user of the cprresponding (dev_biadmin) account and change the password.

  Logout and go to ODI--> switch authentication mode. Give the details. It will change external authentication. Now you should be able to log in as dev_biadmin.

  If you select AIF_FILE_PROJECT only this project xml files will be copied.

  Basically these files replaced with the patch the patch.500 put a few new files instead of old one so you just need to import the project that's all.

  the project name, you have to select that all xml files are present which will import.

  Go to the Studio of ODI

  Develop the language in topology-

  Import new language

  Import mode INSERT_UPDATE synonym

  The definitions of the language of $ODI_HOME/oracledi/xml-reference/LANG_SQL.xml

  Click OK

  Close ODI Studio and open again. that fixed my problem.

  Try to run the loads on the test environment and faced this exception. Guidance on what could be the cause?

  A functioning test environment code development. All models have been migrated using the synonym and the project had to be imported using Mode Duplication.

  I changed some of the interfaces in livery project of BI applications that sits on the Windows machine. Now, I have installed ODI on another machine that has the project of BI applications delivered. I'm trying to export interfaces changed from the previous machine and then try to import new instance. I am facing an ODI-23040 error of xml file.

  You can paste the error here. I see it throw error because of the internal ID.

  You need to import in Update - Insert Mode...

  Prior to do any backup.

  You must connect to a repository of work (insert the connection in detail for the master repository and select a working directory at the bottom of the login dialog box).

  Here you can choose your import type and implement "synonym INSERT_UPDATE Mode".

• ODI-conditional scheduling for a scenario

  I have a conditional obligation plan a work/scenario in ODI

  There is a scenario 1 - which must be scheduled to run every day at 06:00 except Sunday

  Scenario 2 - which should be scheduled to run only on Sunday at 6:00

  Scenario 1 should be scheduled to run on Sunday after scenario 2 is executed.

  Can anyone suggest the best way to do it.

  Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

  For the first instance, as mentioned above, schedule the job for scenario 1 to run every day except Sunday.

  Second case, where scenario1 must be performed after scenario 2 Sunday only.

  Create a separate package, in which you add step 1 Scenario 2 then step 2 Scenario 1 time in a synchronous mode and generate a scenario (annex work for this scenario run only on Sunday)

  or

  Create a separate package, in which you add step 1 Scenario 2 then step 2 OdiwaitforChildSession, step 3 Scenario 1 and scenario (annex work for this scenario run only on Sunday)

  In both cases the scenario 1 will be executed after the success of scenario 2.

• Import error in ODI 12 c

  We have exported a development scenario and imported into our repository only running the Test using synonymn mode is Insert / Update. the export and import process is successful.

  QUESTION-
  The same scenario has undergone changes in the development repository, so developer re - generates the script. Then it is exported from the development. When importing to test the repository only execution, the same steps are followed as stated above. Synonymn mode is Insert / Update. Here is the error.
  com.sunopsis.core.SnpsDuplicateAKException: ODI-10035: SNP_SCEN: ' IMPORT_TEST Version 001' (with global id: 7db15f2c-1072-49c4-b85d-52fa6b28d120 and the internal id: 312) violate the key constraint replacing AK_SNP_SCEN (SCEN_NAME, SCEN_VERSION) values (IMPORT_TEST, 001).

  After investigation - when the same script is regenerated in the development of the Global Id for the script is changed. That's why during import, the import process tries to find the scenario with the same Id Global and since its change process get above error.

  Question: Re-generating a scenario why would he NEW Global ID. This is the origin of the problem.

  What should be an alternative to this. ?
