  Check your agent with test connection and take a look at your context when executing time he asks the context and the agent.

  in this case also you not able to find the solution, and then got to the topology manager---> go to the logical architecture and open your agent, see your logical name of the agent in different contexts, please check like that under the physical schema window in contexts also.

  I would try to help.

  Yes, it is possible to pass encrypted via an ODI variable values.

  So simple as:

  (1) create a package which, at runtime (for example), to receive the password

  (2) create a procedure that receives this variable and use the command 'agent enconde #odivariable' in a file

  (3) update the encrypted value generated in the variable (see [http://odiexperts.com/?p=243])

  (4) now just use this variable directly in the tab order of the ftp tool and does not change the GUI (first tab) after that.

  Could you clarify your question a bit more? Looking for agent-> server HQ communication or agent-> communication monitored service?

  If this is an agent-> HQ server then they communicate with each other using foam which is a specific HQ communication protocol.

  If he's an agent-> monitored service it depends on the service.

• File not found error when you use agent ODI.

  I am trying to load data using the csv file and get the following error.

  ODI-1227: SrcSet0 (load) task fails on the source FILES LOCAL connections.

  I am going through the oracle blog and discover this ODI agent and the source file must be in the same server. But I can't place t of the file to the server of the odi where the agent is running. Can anyone know how to solve this problem.

  Hi Paul.P,

  If you select an agent for execution of your, this agent should have access to all sources of data (DB, files,...) used in your integration project.

  You can map a network drive on the server where the agent is running and move files. Or you can get it from the original location via FTP or sFTP, for example. But your server must be able to manage this file at some point, if you want to use.

  If there is no way you can have the files on this server, you must take the opposite approach and install a new agent, where the files are located.

  I've created a scenario and I plan to them. Now, I want to create an autonomous agent to run this scenario. To do this, I update odiparams.bat file where I am mentioning the details of the repository. I want to generate the encoded password repository connection using batch processing utility officer. After you type following command at the command prompt in windows xp:
  

  agent to encode the password

  Failure of the sound connection password invalid username error display.

  I get to level ODI 11.1.1.6 to 11.1.1.7. I'm installing to the existing House of ODI. I'm skipping the repository configuration. But I'm not able to jump to the agent details screen. Should I really be specifying a new agent here or an agent who is already configured in 11.1.1.6 or how can I ignore it?

• Not able running Maxl, if ODI Agent is running under & managed by OPMN

  Error thrown when in the execution of Oracle Essbase Interface Inteface using IKM SQL for Hyperion Essbase (DATA) and by calling a MAXL clear script in PRE_LOAD_MAXL_SCRIPT.

  Execution of the Interface is done correctly if the same agent ODI runs directly from the command prompt (using agent.bat). But when we start the agent the instance of OPMN, the following error:

  com.hyperion.odi.essbase.ODIEssbaseException: com.hyperion.odi.essbase.ODIEssbaseException: cannot run the program "essmsh": CreateProcess = 2 error, the system cannot find the file specified

  The agent of ODI running fine and complete any execution of the interface without MAXL. But if we use PRE_LOAD_MAXL_SCRIPT, it generates an error.

  We have already created two environment variables such as ESSBASEPATH and ARBORPATH, also set to day the Path variable. We are able to start maxl using the command "essmsh" directly from the command prompt.

  I would like to know how can we call MAXL scripts through successful ODI agents OPMN.

  Some time ago I saw it, so I forgot a few other env variables that must report in opmn.xml. It also needed a little more env vars the overall environment for OPMN is very limited. You can try the steps Note 1556801.1 as well. If all goes well, that should do the trick.

• Use fglam for OS availability report?

  I am creating a report with some systems where can I get a history of disconnected customers Manager Agent.

  I use agents fglam run on the server as the basis for ALS, if the host is in place or not.

  The report should show what fglams were declining, what time and for how long? That's why I chose disconnected rule Agent Manager customers.

  Is it possible to have the foglight to add servers to the report based on a select statement (the same rule of builders of selector condition service)?

  Multiple: The report has 3 servers linux-ser101 ser102-ser151-windows linux if I place an another fglam where he reports as ser152-windows. This server will be automatically added to the report.

  Hello, I have a question about the need for the CDA/AD Agent.  I understand that they help to solve problems with applications that do not send user name, such as Windows Update information by mapping IP addresses to usernames.  If I use Agent CDA/AD, this will allow Windows Update and programs similar to work without the need of identities Special No.-auth?  Currently, I have this job with no.-auth identity based on URL of destination now, but it's frustrating because I do not see the traffic of users of these sites associated with their user name in the reports.  This is an explicit proxy environment using substitutes IP and any resources shared computer (no Citrix).

  Thank you for reaching out, short answer is Yes with the CDA "update of Windows and other programs similar to work without the need of identities Special No.-auth will work fine as long as there is an ip address to user name mapping exists on the ASO", but if client computers do not part updates of domain AD/train those customer will fail.  To deal with these machines, we can allow access 'Guest' as a fallback on the identity.

  Our OEM is 12 c 4 on linux. Recently, we have applied PSU3. the CMS and the repository. AGent patches remain by doc - 1664074.1.

  It is - 1 > Agent's patch was applied only to the Agent that runs on the Server OEM or it should be applied to all officers on monitoring of targets?  Please provide details? Do I need to install on each target agent controlled?  Please let us know of your experience?
