ODI user security settings

I need to assign a security to the user ODI to run only specific scenarios.

I added Connect with profiles NG_DESIGNER account and granted access to a scenario.

When I run the ODI Console connected scenario I get error ODI-10082 you may not see the object: SQL: 1999

Script works fine if I add OPERATOR profile for the user account, but in this case all scenarios are presented instead of only desired.

What Miss me in the security settings for the account of ODI?

Thank you

Alex

Apparently, I was looking for in my case with ODI 11 G and ODI 10 doc http://thetravelingconsultant2.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/odi-security-101-scenario-execution.pdf , he has different security options.

To solve this problem, I had to add open method in my profile of custom designer who was not at the 10 ODI

  • How to do the field work of signature for Player users? Security settings change when the doc extension?

I struggled to fix a problem all week and I'm at my wits end. The customer service was no help because the person that I spoke with could barely speak English and even less understanding of the problem that I explained it. Hoping someone here can get an idea, here's the question:

I use a professional Windows 7 operating system. I created a Microsoft Word's doc and used Adobe Acrobat XI Standard to create a form from it. It automatically detected fields, which includes a signature field. I had fixed all how it was and "Save as other - reader extended pdf - activate filling out forms in & save in reader.

The document is a report that will be sent to a small number of people who have to fill in, sign and return digitally and I'm assuming that most, if not all of them will open the document using the free Adobe Reader software. So I thought I'd extend it's what I had to do to make sure that they could fill, save to their computer if need be and also digitally sign. Signature field is automatically added in by acrobat for me and I do not change the properties of it at all except to add a border.

When I open the form in Reader (also XI) I can fill in all the fields, save it... but not signed. Security settings say signature is not allowed, even if I went back to the original form of pdf and the security settings to this topic say allowed for everything. I don't know how to resolve this... Please help!

    I've attached a few screenshots, but can include more if necessary...acrobat-not extended-security settings.pngacrobat-save as options.pngreader-extended.pngreader-security settings.png

You must apply the rights of the reader to the file by file - save as other - Reader - Extended PDF - activate tools more. I'm not sure that it's available in Acrobat Standard, however.

  • Tried to change the security settings in XP on some of my documents, now I can't access

original title: describe the security settings

Hi, I stupidly tried to change security settings on some of my documents, now I can't access then more... don't know what I've donebut would be able to open them again...

the files are stored on an external hard drive, but I always use the original laptop running xp... He is using that file names are now show green...

Thanks for any help you can give.

If the file names displayed in green, an indication that the files are encrypted using the Encrypting File System (EFS) in XP Pro.  The encryption key to decrypt these files is stored in your certificate store on the machine/user name that originally encrypted the files.  To access these files, you must connect to the original machine which them encrypted and access it using the same user.  If the encryption certificate is lost or damaged, then you permanently lose access to your files.  For more information, start with this article:

"Best practices for EFS file system.

As you have discovered, EFS can be dangerous.  Use it carefully and always save your article above encryption certificate.

  • One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because that is: 1) your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) you blocked an editor of one of the controls

Well this problem started a week ago. When computer first starts or restarts (I did not open any program still!) I get this message,

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because that is: 1) your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) you blocked an editor of one of the controls

I know this usually occurs with internet explore, but as I said I do not have anything yet open. I've activated all the active X controls in internet explore with no luck. I searched the web for active x forums and blocked the editor and followed all the instructions in the error message (most of them see enabling active x) but without success. I am an advanced user (15 years and more), but it has left speechless me. If I try to open "Services", I get the same error. When I opened my anti virus, it opens but it is just a blank page. I know that my anti virus is working well.  Also if I open internet explorer, I get a blank page, if I go to a website (enter it or go to my favorites) it works fine. I've deleted all the temp, historical, cookies etc. etc. (use CC Cleaner and other programs to clean) but if reopened once again it says white. If I use help and you want to see a help topic that it is said (may not display due to problems of congestion or network, check connection) but internet works fine. I know that I have not a virus (a lot of people in the forums think it) I scanned with Bitdefender, Eset Nod32, Super Anti Spyware pro, Malaware Anti Malawarebytes, Spybot, Stopzilla, etc. etc. and did not find a virus (in safe mode) there are many people on the web with the same problem (with the same and some with different programs). This problem seems to be random (does not affect a certain program) I tried for a week now and I'm stumped! Anybody have ideas that I heard yet?

    Thank you if you do!

    Hi Morksr2d2,

As you mentioned that the problem reappears as soon as you run the anti-virus program, it seems that we found the cause of these error messages at startup.  I would like to recommend that you Uninstall the antivirus & check if the problem reappears. This should also allow you to make changes on the services tab in system configuration utility.

    Later, reinstall the antivirus program.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

  • Security settings prevent all downloads

I can't download Microsoft software because of my security settings.  I can't download anything, including the windows installer because my security settings see them as harmful to the computer.  I did everything suggested by the help windows, but apparently not good things.  What should I change?  At the beginning I had some success downloaded from Safari, but now, even the last program was blocked at the end of the download preventing installation of your own program.  Mystifies me.   Any suggestions?

    Hello

    ·         What exactly happens when you try to download?

    ·         Are you facing problems with the download of Internet Explorer as well?

    ·         You receive an error message when downloading?

    ·         Security are what you referring?

You can try to Disable Antivirus software and firewall on the system temporarily and check if that helps resolve the issue.

    Note:

Disable Antivirus software and firewall is a potential threat to the system, I suggest you to activate their return once you have completed the troubleshooting steps.

If you receive the error message: your current security settings do not allow this file to download. When downloading then this problem occurs because the Internet Explorer file download option security zone is set to disable.

To allow downloading files option refers to the procedure described below.

    (a) open Internet Explorer.

    (b) press the Alt key and then click on tools in the menu bar.

    (c) select Internet options in the menu drop-down.

    (d) click the Security TAB , and then select Internet in the area select it to view or change security settings.

    (e) now, click on custom level, new windows will appear where you need to scroll down and look for the option to download the file, you must select enable radio button then click Ok and restart Internet Explorer.

If the problem is related to the safety of guests UAC then I suggest to check the link below and check if that helps resolve the issue.

    Hello Momz4Justice,

Allows you to ensure that your system is indeed clean, see below:

Try to start your system in safe mode:

    1. Restart your computer if it is running.
    2. Press and hold the F8 key for 3 seconds after your computer powers initially on.
    3. Once you see the Advanced Boot Options menu (or beep) you can stop.
    4. Up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
    5. Select Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER.
    6. You should see drivers loading, it may take a few moments.
    7. You should then be at the Welcome screen.
    8. Connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.
    9. Now, you download (free) MalwareBytes from here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?tag=mncol install, Update then do a scan of your system in safe mode, to ensure that it is indeed clean! OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit with UAC disabled

    Hello

I turned on my computer this morning and all of a sudden all _ broke loose. Everytime I try and open an exe file I get a security alert box Windows telling me that:

"Unable to open these files. Your Internet security settings prevented one or more current files opening. »

I read through every thread I can find on the subject, and none of the "answers" worked for me.

I tried the common next 'solutions' with no luck:

    (1) right click on the exe, click Properties
    Click the Unlock button
    Click OK

    (2) adding exe to the control panel > Windows Defender > Tools > Options > excluded file types

    (3) start / Control Panel / Internet Options.
    (Displays control panel Internet Options)
    Click the security"" tab.
    Click "Local Intranet".
    Drag the slider to "Low".
    Click the 'Sites '.
    Click on the button "Advanced".
Enter the IP address of the NAS / SMB / CIFS / some server and click "add".
    Click "close".

    (4) delete the registry key - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderTypes\{EF87B4CB-F2CE-4785-8658-4CA6C63E38C6}\TopViews\{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}

    (5) create a profile admin completely. -This one was interesting, when I logged on the account there was no aero theme - he went immediately to the essential.

    So any ideas?

I had not mentioned in my HKCU registry entry. I solved the problem by resetting all my settings IE. If something in Internet Explorer is the cause.  In fact, which fixed the problem for every user profile on the machine.

  • What matters to add it to the security settings for the documents folder

    Hi all

This is my first post.  I finally got so tired of not being able to access My Documents files (files stored in users / folder withname/My Documents) on my PC - or on the PC of my friends they bring to me for repair - when a re-install OS has had to accomplish, that I thought I would try adding a new account to the security settings of my My Documents folder to allow these files to be accessible by the new operating system.  Don't you think it would work?  It could be classified as undesirable from a security point of view, but it would do the job?

Comparison of Document files my files vs non - My Document shows that the no - My Document files have authenticated users and users (PC name) as well as accounts of network in addition to the accounts in the My Document files.  The reason on behalf of the network is obvious, but what about the other two?

Which account will allow me to access the files stored in My Document If the BONE had to be re-installed without having the possibility to save the files beforehand?

All hope before logic.  Thank you very much for reading this far.

Thanks for this forest.  I think that on this but I was wondering if it would reduce the level of security too, if you know what I mean.

Assignment of access rights protect you against access by other users. It offers no protection against the pirates - they can easily circumvent these restrictions.

  • Windows 8 - security settings

I found that when I joined my microsoft with Windows 8 apps (particularly e-mail) account, he diverted all my security settings. A sign that you have this problem is if you go to settings-> users PC and the button change under "any user with a password must enter when waking up this PC" turned on. This Panel must also show some warning along the lines of this setting can only be changed with the current security settings.

Here is how I solved this problem; I hope it works for you, too.

This should clear the auto locking if windows 8 he set up backstage, and it should allow you to change the setting, which I mentioned in the first paragraph.
