OEMGC12c Agent is blocked-> meter incompatibility

I reinstalled one of my database from scratch Linux systems.

After I deleted the host of EMGC12c I have new agent installation on the new host of 'Add Target'

After you have finished installing the SGD blocked the agent with an error message.

"The agent has been blocked due to incompatibility of bounce counter. If the Agent has been restored from a backup perform a Resync Agent. »

I try resync but without result.  Estates?

I would like to follow the procedure below.

1 stop the agent
2. Uninstall and delete the agent software.

Remove software agent file physically after search accesses no files under agent_inst treatment.
A few times if any process is reading the files under agent_inst, files come back after the withdrawal.

3. remove OEM targets

emcli delete_target-name = "host1.com:1836" - type = "oracle_emd" - delete_monitored_targets
or
To the OMR as sysman CONNT and run
exec mgmt_admin.cleanup_agent('host1.com:1836');

Make sure that there is no target in automatic detection with the same host results.

4. wait for a while.
Jobs SEO reason take the time to permanently remove targets.
You can view targets teas on health summary page "deleted targets."

5 install the agent again.

NOTE:
Make sure you use different location for the installation of the agent, if it is NFS and location is used by host2
Recently, I saw a show where 2 nodes using the same NFS mount for agent_inst and we always get error blocked / communications officer.

  • Blocked Agent error OEM12c

    Hello world!

    I recently installed oracle database 11g and oem12c on a new server.  (both installed on the same server)  I know very little about oracle products, but I finally found it.  Now, I'm trying to get an agent deployed.  I understand now that there was already an agent installed to the db itself, but I didn't know that at the time, so I have deployed another which was probably a mistake.

    The original repertoire of the agent is always there as well as on the other that I deployed.   I'm ok with fixing any of these agents or wipe both outside and the deployment of a new.  What is the easiest thing to fix my errors?

    For the moment, I have the newer agents running.  It starts fine when I run "emctl start agent.  But OEM complains.  It is said:
    Agent is currently blocked. He will not be able to download alerts or metrics to the Service (OMS) management Oracle data until it is unblocked manually. Please ensure that all a bad Agent configuration issues have been resolved before the release of the Agent.

    I tried to click agent-> Resync I've seen suggested online.  It did not help.

    You can connect a SR with support so that they can help diagnose and solve this problem, or (as you do not mind) you can uninstall the 12.1.0.3 agent, remove its directories and redeploy the agent on the host computer.

  • 12 c Agent question

    Dear gurus.

    Today one of the agent is stopped working and I am getting below error.

    Agent is blocked. Is blocked: Agent is out-of-sync with the repository. This probably means that the agent has been reinstalled or recovered. Please contact an administrator EM to unlock the agent by performing a resynchronization of the agent from the console.

    Event, I tried to unlock the agent on the OEM portal by navigating Setup-> manage Cloud control-> Agents and selected agent on and clicking on unbloc but immediately his once again blocking...

    So I tried on the agent server by running below command but no luck

    1. status emctl agent

    2 emctl stop agent

    3. delete the files of

    CD $AGENT_HOME/sysman/emd/upload and

    CD $AGENT_HOME/sysman/emd/State

    4 emctl clearstate agent

    5 emctl sure agent

    6 emctl start agent

    so I wanted to re-sync SGD console agent but I get following error:

    Communication error with the agent. Exception message - oracle.sysman.emSDK.emd.comm.CommException: IOException while reading the response: connection reset

    When I trigger resynchronization of SGD console processes in file emagent.trc appear as a result of the messages:

    Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?
    I can add that this problem is on one of the nodes of the RAC. On the second node agent works very well.

    1. agent on AIX installation, upload worked well, but can't find any instance of database.
    2 Administrator etc/oratab changed/fixed

    3 uninstall agent
    4. installation of the agent. No download

    5. uninstalled agent
    6. removal of target in OEM
    7. installation of the agent. No download

    8 uninstalled agent
    9 restarted OEM.
    10. installation of the agent. No download.

    You must configure console datbase by following steps below

    Go to the database tab-> select the database-> press the button Configure-> provide dbsnmp password-> press test to check the connecrtion and then-> press next and finish

    There are different methods which pages can recharge automatically.

    If it is done through JavaScript you can use NoScript to block. I don't know if NoScript can block meta refresh. There are also elegant scripts to disable charging some Web sites like Drudge Report.

  • Windows Update causes high CPU AND not let me install Windows 10

    Windows 7 update has several issues:

    1 Windows Update Service causes the CPU usage high - CPU usually works 50% or more with a single SVCHOST.exe running.  I click with the right button on the SVCHOST entry in Task Manager-processes and saw all the services that SVCHOST is still running.  One at a time, I stopped and restarted them.  Finally, when I stopped the Windows Update service, the cpu immediately fell to almost nothing.  I rebooted and tested several times, and each time, it was Windows Update service that was causing the high CPU.

    2. Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor says I could upgrade to Windows 10, and get the icon Windows 10 is in the toolbar.  But it has failed to install several times.  Now, after stopping and restarting the service of updating (and I checked, it is started), the window get Windows 10 rises, is empty and goes.

    3. I ran the Update Diagnostic and got 1 error:

    Windows Update error 0 x 80070003(2016-04-04-T-04_56_09P)

    the Details of the Diag Windows Update window said:

    RootCause: RC-DataStore

    Error code: 0 x 80070003

    4. I tried to launch the 'Fixit' for update, but it did nothing.

    5. I tried to update Windows Update WindowsUpdateAgent30 - x 64 .exe Agent,

    but it fails with this message:

    "Windows Update Agent Installer has met a fatal error"

    6. when I try to start Windows Update-check for updates, it displays the dialog box "check for Updates" and activity indicator green runs and runs and runs for more than 10 minutes but nothing happens.  And when I check the view update history, it shows no updates, even though I know that I've run a LOT of updates in recent years.

    7. I thought to reinstall Windows 7.  I went to download from Microsoft, and when repair installation it activated my key it says that it wasn't a retail version, so check with the supplier (in this case HP).  I checked with HP and they said that this machine was is no longer supported.

    8. on the way I've renamed the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution-Windows SDOLD, force it to create a new (probably why it does not find the old updates).  IT did not help.

    So it seems to me this machine is expandable to 10 Windows (it meets the specifications and the Advisor to update Windows-10 said yes and installed the toolbar).  But something is wrong, probably with Windows Updater, and now nothing will be update or upgrade.  And I can't get a new copy of Windows 7.

    So, any thoughts?  I'm out of ideas.

    We are moving our ATG CA instance to a new box - by a change in society from A to b. all the schema (ORACLE) and ATG CA(running on JBOSS) is copied on.


    After spending the EAR CA to new JBOSS, CA load up - no problems. Change IP on Site & Agents URL, to the new location, made ' live the change ", but while deploying I get this error:


    Unable to perform an incremental deployment on target 'Production Agent'. Check for incompatibility of snapshot on agents.


    My question is: can I force an instant id?   The only change is the URL target in agent. CA schema has been moved and target DB was moved just like love


    Is the CA knows by target URL, this is the new location? The name of Site or Agent is the same.


    I want to just validate my steps... Please advice.

    It's something that we do when the new officer is added or agents are changed.

  • EM12cR2 - how to clean old guard basic directories after upgrading?

    Execution EM12cR2 + 1 on Linux x 86-64.

    Anyone know the recommended/supported/correct way to delete older versions of directories based EM12c agent on the managed servers once agents have been upgraded to EM12cR2? This isn't a huge problem, but I have been setting up my agents on the small (2 GB) dedicated volumes and I have not enough space available for the next round of updates unless I get the old stuff, cleared out.

    I have a server that has been added to the environment after my upgrade to EM12cR2 and multiple servers that are already followed by the upgrade. The servers where I have updated agents after you install all the EM12cR2 still have copies of the directory of core/12.1.0.1.0 basic agent as well as the new home core/12.1.0.2.0 agent directory. I tried to remove this directory and bouncing the agent, but the agent gets blocked because it cannot locate apparently not some files, it expects to find. Other than to be rejected by the WHO, the officer seems to work very well. I can only unlock the agent successfully if I put the 12.1.0.1.0 directory back in place.

    Here's what I see on a leveling agent:

    Upgrades the agent were all made through the agent upgrade console without incident. The server SGD itself also contains the 12.1.0.1.0 and the 12.1.0.2.0 in the base directory of agent based. The fact that the agent on the server who never had installed 12.1.0.1.0 work well would seem to indicate that the binary 12.1.0.1.0 are not required for correct functionality, but I'm not clear on how to remove them. I would like to avoid losing the targets controlled by these agents and have to recreate their and their jobs, and so on.

    Any thoughts? Has anyone else had the same problem occur in their environment?

    If you're talking about the target upgrade agent to 12.1.0.2 and he has dir left basic behind, then you can remove only the contents of the $AGENT_BASE_DIR/core/12.1.0.1.0 directory and make sure that
    the $AGENT_BASE_DIR/core/12.1.0.1.0 directory exists

    Just FYI: for the next version of the EM, we have a correct feature: signal out of process where all swinging old houses of oracle, their pints of foot disc more SGD artifacts aside, for upgrade of agents can be removed.

    Upgrade guide is also get updated with the same information, should be live within 2-3 days. We told you the same thing coming from our customer like AT & T, Fedility... etc.

    I installed grid agents (resettled, after the good run uninstall steps) on my two RAC nodes.

    My said status, there is no download that happens. The agent is blocked and not resynchronized.

    I did a cleanup of the State, collection / and upload / files in the folder/Agent_home/sysman/emd, done more clearstate agent and the agent started. Still unable to download.

    Do you have other agents running successfully with this SGD?

    1. try opening firefox in two your agent use Xwindows and see if: 4900/em/upload works. If not then the port must be open.
    2. open the two agents of your SGD server (ask your OS guys to do this in Unix). Check if you are behind the IP Net.

    -Your DMS receives no heartbeat and it's the reason for the failure of the download. So, check the port and open the agent hosts.

  • Incompatibility of meter in the Agent in Foglight 5.6.4

    We use Foglight 5.6.4 and there seems to be a problem with the meter of the Agent in the Performance Dashboard. When we look at the State of the Agent, it is show that 181 but when we have a glance at the dashboard of Performance it is showing that only 18.

    Could someone explain please the cause of this?

    Don't know if you have made a lot of changes recently, but you should probably hit the "Refresh button" in the Agent status page without worrying that the status is a few days old. If that does nothing, maybe you stumbled upon a bug/glitch. Your DB_SQL_Server should be present under 'Other' in the second performance overview screen. There was also a second category, "OS", which contains all the former agents. That's assuming it's the same in 5.6.5 as 5.6.4 which I believe is the case.

    I was wondering if anyone has a solution for this. I have upgraded to Vista ultimate and have gotten most of the things to work but on each startup, he said that the common module driver from Toshiba has been blocked due to incompatibility.

    This message appears because you have updated the OS from XP to Vista and common modules installed are not compatible with the Vista operating system.

    Is Toshiba didn't publish the drivers and tools for this laptop and it's why some features don't work.

    That's why I don't recommend to UPDATE the XP to Vista, but to clean install Vista on the second partition.
    In this case, you will be able to use the two BONES. XP and Vista.

    • I can install my application on the device with the debugging token and it works fine.
    • My signed application used to work properly. I think that the problem started after I updated my SDK, 10.0, 10.1.

    I solved it!

    I just changed the SDK supported 10.1.X.X to 10.0.X.X

    It's not elegant, but it works.
