  • Win8 upgrade: my Office 2007 license will be?

    Greetings

    I'm about to upgrade my computer to Windows 7 to Windows 8. I have all my personal files and stuff saved on an external hard drive and I'm ready to go. The only thing I need to know is if my copy of Office home and Student 2007 will be Windows 8. I use the Office 2013 Preview for months now and I intend to use it when my computer is upgraded, but I want to make sure that I can't buy Office 2007 or 2010 because my old product key no longer works. Office 2013 Preview is amazing and I love it but I have a policy of "better-safe-fort-so-sorry" in the event where the Office 2013 not to work, I want to use my copy of Office 2007 in its place. Thanks for your help.

  • move licenses Office 2007 to other computer OUE

    I had Office 2007 (staff & student) is installed in 3 laptops at home. One of the laptops running Vista recently broke down and it no longer works and I bought a new one with Windows 7 and want to install office in there. How "uninstall/release" the license used in the old computer so I can re - use in my new? (the limit is 3 computers using the same license, so I need to 'release' one located in the broken laptop)

    This has nothing to do with the Windows updates.

    You must ask in a forum of office.

  • License for Office 2007 Ultimate

    I bought "microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate" and loaded on my desktop and laptop. But my office has died since then and was replaced, I would download on my new pc, but license says that it does not!
    Does this mean I have to buy request again once?

    Hello

    You can try the phone holder to turn on.

    You will be asked of the remote computer to give the support page for phone numbers.

    You will then receive a new set of numbers to activate your Office 2007.

    If this does not work, you will be directed to a Microsoft employee.

    Explain your problem and if they are happy with your answer will give you an activation key.

  • Update of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) beat Microsoft Office 2007

    Immediately after the installation of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) through Windows Update on my Vista 32 system, Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate invites to enter the license key code and starts the installation.  The normal template is gone/modified so that all the options of the program are returned to default original.  I saw this happen at two other PC's today so I know that this isn't an isolated incident.  Is asked for license key code in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.  If I don't give the key code, a screen repsonds that installation has been cancelled; However, all the custom settings for the program were still missing.

    In all these cases, the BONES and the Office have legitimate activated licenses is not the question.

    Just noticed that Outlook lost one email account and the account settings button is broke (grey) so I can't recreate the e-mail account.

    You can find support for the installation/upgrade to Windows Live Essentials 2011 in this forum: http://windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?forumid=a372972e-8e7a-4d85-adc3-a1b43e8c02ec

  • Genuine Office 2007, but cannot be updated!

    I have a genuine copy of Office 2007 running on my computer and he constantly tells me to upgrade to KB949810, but the update always fails. Half the time he informs me that the update is 0 KB in size, but other times he puts at about 750kb. Whatever it is, it does not work and then again once say that I have to update. Frustrating, to say the least!

    Can anyone help please?

    Osbourne,
    You may want to reset Windows Update components and then test again and see if it happens.  Also when you look at the updates, double-click the update failed and he should give an error next to the details of the error code.  Take a look at this and let us know the code.

    Hello

    You might need to CD in Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007 CD to reinstall it on your computer. If the computer has been pre-installed with Windows XP by the manufacturer, you can contact them about this.

    You can visit the below mentioned link for more information.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Transfer of Windows XP Professional & Office 2007 to the new PC

    I bought my current PC with Windows XP Professional & Office 2007 already installed so no CD or the key provided, and the company I bought to is no longer in business so no help there.

    I bought a new PC without OS and I'm looking for a way in which I can transfer my operating system existing Windows XP and Office Suite for my new PC, or I have to buy a new version of these two which, as I've already paid for them once, seems a little unfair.

    Bigdow

    You can't transfer legally of the operating system (Windows XP Pro) because the license for your OEM (preinstalled) version is valid only for the computer on which it was initially installed.

    However, you should be able to transfer Office 2007.  Use a tool such as Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder to determine the CD key for your Microsoft Office installation and then ask Microsoft for a new CD.  See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246

  • I'm about to buy a new laptop. I have installed the upgrade to Office 2007 some time ago and have the CD, but I don't have the original CD that I used to install Office 2003. How can I install Office 2007 on my new computer with only the upgrade CD?

    I am currently running XP.  I expect that the new laptop has Windows 7.

    Without the original installation media, Microsoft Office 2003, you cannot install a version upgrade of Microsoft Office 2007.  You would need to purchase a version of "Full license" of Office 2007. Carey Frisch

  • How to change the product key for Office 2007?

    Original title: product key used.

    When I loaded Office 2007 I used a product key with any additional use.  I try to enter a different product key, but impossible to find how to do this.  Can you please direct me to the correct site to do this?  Thank you!

    Hello

    It would be easier to uninstall it and then reinstall it by using the different product key.

  • I have no disks, but have to get Vista and MS Office 2007 on a new PC from my old. Thank you, Alan

    My PC died and a pre-installed Vista & pre installed MS Office 2007. I need (if poss) to bring them to a new PC - is anyone know how? One of the problems is that my then "IT Consultant" active Office 2007 on 3 PC's at the same time, and even though I have activation keys, I know not that you belong to what PC. 2 other computers work properly in order to access the news and maybe by a process of elimination working key that is relevant for the PC dead. Thank you, Alan

    Hello Alan HKK.

    As Vista was preinstalled you cannot move it to another PC.

    A Vista preinstalled (from HP, Acer, etc..) License is called an OEM license and is related to the 1st computer on which it is installed on.

    It is related to this PC for the life of this PC and dies when the PC dies.

    The licenses of Vista at retail are licenses that can be transferred to another PC.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Like you bought a pack of 3 of the office, you can transfer licenses of office from PC to PC.
    To find the office key on PC dead by process of elimination, try one of these programs to check the keys on the other 2 PC.
    Try one of these 2 programs:
    http://www.magicaljellybean.com/KeyFinder/
    http://www.Belarc.com/free_download.html
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    And read these information from Microsoft on how to replace the software, etc. :

    "How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

  • Reinstall VALID of COPIES of Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 without disc?

    I bought a PC with Vista Ultimate 64-bit online and valid valid Office 2007.  Both have been released online and accept updates.  My problem is that I don't have the original disks for the Vista or Office Enterprise 2007.

    I want to reformat the drive to clean it and reinstall Windows and Office.  How can I do this without disks?

    Hello

    I gave you license rules that everything you said was: '-a copy of Vista Home Premium 64-bit for a different PC.

    you never said what type of license, it was: OEM or retail

    If it belongs to an another pre-installed vista PC and that he was NOT in the detail that you can NOT use

    as I've already advised

    "borrow a vista microsoft dvd.

    Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

    they contain all versions of vista

    It's the product key that determines which version of vista is installed.
