  When I go into my office assist, I click on all programs and it comes up saying that tosdesktop Assist stopped working. What I'm doing and how I can fix this problem?

  According to the Desktop site help, it is not compatible with Windows 8.  You might be able to fix this by right clicking on the Desktop icon help, choose Properties, then using the tab compatibility to do work.  If this does not help, your next best bet is to contact them and let them know.  Maybe they have (or are working on) a new version that works with Windows 8.

  I accidently turned off my computer without going through the correct closure of the procedure.  When I rebooted my computer, my office of origin does not completely load and uses a temporary desktop computer.  but once I log out, I lose all the info.  I keeps on rebooting my computer hoping it recharge fully, but my attempts have failed.

• Office Jet Pro 8620: No Assistant HP printer or Application icon

  I'm under 10 64-bit Windows and the Office Jet Pro 8620.  I can't configure my scan-to-email of the printer (continues to request a code).  My printer is connected via Wi - Fi, and otherwise works fine.   Following the instructions of support, I tried the Printer Wizard, but there is no such program listed in my HP folder and no printer the Office Assistant icon (although there used).

  I downloaded all the updates current and running Scan Doctor several times.  No luck.

  Thanks for the quick response.  I followed your instructions.  After disconnection of the wireless connection and then the wizard of wireless, all re-installed configuration correctly.  The appropriate icon appeared on the desktop and I was able to put everything in place.

• Satellite L300 - cannot install various assistans office for Office 2003

  I'm new to the site so please forgive all the messages I put in the wrong place, until I have to get used to things.

  I just bought my first cell phone and loaded Microsoft Office 2003 on it. It's the L300 series.
  My problem is that, although I loaded only the Word and Powerpoint word following sections, it seems that I have more memory to install the various office assisstants in Word.

  When I try to install any other assistants rather than the trombone, I get a small box that says: "you don't have enough memory to install any other assistants

  I googled and found this solution.

  (1) download the MSAgent technology

  (2) download the file MSAgent2.exe to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E11BF712-7862-45BA-826D-44AE3A11836F&displaylang=en
  Start the download, accepting invites her UAC (security prompt) and select the option "this program installed correctly".

  (3) start the console (command prompt) (type in RUN cmd)

  2. you receive any code/error message when the update installs?

• Professional Office XP reactivation

  I had an Office XP Professional valid installation above, enabled on my computer.  My motherboard is dead, so I rebuilt my computer with a new motherboard and my old inclucing the hard devices.  I have reactivated the XP Professional (SP2) operating system and thought I had reactivated the Office XP Professional Suite successfully.  After a few months, the Office XP Professional Suite only works in reduced functionality Mode.  When I open Word (or any program) Activation Wizard appears immediately, with the original disc in the CD drive, I click on 'Next' and the "preparing to install" box appears briefly.  The Word program, then fully opens, but still in the mode of recuced.  I called Microsoft Help and they sent me here, because they were unable to resolve the problem.  There is no option to "Activate by phone" who always shows up.  I tried to rename the directory registry "10.0" to "OLD10.0" (by research) but it does not help either.

  Any suggestions?

  I hate to be "Clippy" (or is this Clippie?) of XP and I would like to know if there is a way to get the old Office Assistant in Win7.

  They were actually disabled in 2001 with the implementation of 'Microsoft Office XP' and completely deleted for good at the end 2002 with the release of Microsoft Office 2003.

  You can restore to 2003 with some changes to the system registry and the replacement of prudent file, but it is not supported.  And this can be done at all in Office 2007 with impatience.

  Office Assistant characters debuted with Office 97, but have been removed in Office XP in 2002.  They were not included on all successive versions of office since then (Office 2003, 2007, 2010), and there is no way to include them.

  I had some problems when trying to print (or open the properties of the printer) on my 2000 Office Thinapp... shows an error:

  

  Error in English:
  "Windows cannot print due to a problem with the installation of the current printer. Try to print a Windows test page, make sure that the printer is turned on and online or reinstall the printer driver. »

  I get this error with all network printers (I can not try with a local), the package runs on an RDS 2008 R2 x 64 (I get the same error on Windows 7 x 64, but it works fine on a Windows XP SP3 x 86).

  Package includes:
  Program Microsoft Office 2000
  Version of VMware Thinapp = tried with 4.7.3 and 5.1.0
  isolation mode= tried it with: fusion and WriteCopy
  build OS = Windows XP Pro SP3 x 86
  components = Word (full), Excel (complete), Access (full)

  deleted components = Outlook, PowerPoint, Office Assistant, office toolbar)

  Solutions have already tried:
  -build the package with different VMWare Thinapp versions (4.7.3 and 5.1.0)
  -deleted all the printers (and its registry entries) before the postscan process
  -The value "% SystemSystem%\spool" and "% SystemSystem (x 64) %\spool" attributes "merged".

  Could someone help me?

  I just disabled "Wow64 = 0" and "AltArchitectureShortcut = 0" and now it works!

• Qosmio X 870 - 13p - how to restore the original key elements?

  Use the volume buttons + /-on the keyboard, I just had to push for example to increase the volume of your PC or put a song on a break. Now it does not work, I have to press the "Fn key" to use these keys.

  There are two options for the mode of function keys:
  -special function mode (you don't need to press the FN key n)
  -standard mode of F1 - F12

  Please check which option is set to your laptop.
  You can find it when you open the office assist > system settings > keyboard.

  Check and if necessary change the special function mode.
