• Office Live add-in 1.5 update not necessary, but continually trying to update

  I have problems with the sequence of Microsoft Office Live Add-in 1.5 update.

  I use a 64 bit version of Windows 7.  I already had the updated Microsoft Windows service to start (to delay) at startup.  I changed it to start immediately at startup now.

  Could be a viral problem?  I ran a OneCare security sweep that brought some questions of registry, but no virus problems, but eventually these problems solved and a 2nd scan after reboot gave no error.

  I ran Malware Bytes, Microsoft Security Essentials and an AVG scan (after you have uninstalled the MOUSE of the computer... I don't keep these 2 on the computer at the same time in the event of a conflict would be.)  Each of these tests came back negative.

  What I've done, I downloaded Windows Installer Clean-up and installed, I uninstalled Office Live 1.4 and then once that is done, I have tried to install the Office Live 1.5 update, which is that I had problems with and installed without any more problems. As I mentioned previously, outages I found solutions were below to include servers, but none for Windows 7, Windows Vista and even suggestions. But, I really appreciate your time and efforts.   UH! After posting the added information in my last post, I have acted on an intuition, uninstalled, Office Live 1.5 from the Control Panel, rebooted, reinstalled and everything went well.

  So I guess there's a glitch somewhere where Windows Live Update thought I needed the upgrade while in fact I have not, and he is involved in a problem that cannot be resolved.
