OfficeJet 100: Officejet100

The printer is adjustable to just print in black?

Hello @theoneandonly,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you do not want to print in black only from your Mac OS X 10.10 to your portable printer HP Officejet 100 computer. I would like to help you today with the configuration of the parameter only black printing.

If you have a document with color and black top on your computer and would like this document to print only in black ink, please click here. Once the support document opens click on the drop down menu to OS X 10.7 (Lion) and OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion). Then, follow the steps under 'step 3' to set the Color Options black ink only or Grayscale. When you print from your computer the document is printed in black only.

If your HP Officejet is tricolor ink and you still want to print in black, you can do it too. Your printer has a feature called "simple cartridge Mode". Mode single cartridge, you can remove the black cartridge of your machine or the Tricolor cartridge.

  • If the black cartridge has been removed from your computer, your printer will use the Tricolor cartridge to print in color or grayscale.
  • If the Tricolor cartridge has been removed from your computer, your printer will use black cartridge to print in grayscale.

Please let me know if the information I have provided solves your problem only printing black ink. I look forward to hear from you!

  • How can I print on my mobile printer officejet 100 since an android via bluetooth device?

Here, I'm puzzled. I installed the printer on my Windows PC. I can't perform a (Bluetooth) pairing of my Android Tablet (Galaxy 10.1 "). I tried to use a variety of print from Android Marketplace programs, but I can't get anything to print.

When I try with PrinterShare, it asks me to select the printer. When I select the OfficeJet 100, thought that the application cannot find a driver for the printer.

Note to HP: you definitely need to improve the documentation on this printer. The docs supplied with my printer make no mention of Android, and it is almost impossible to find something useful online. Very disappointing.

Update: we found a solution that works very well for us at the moment. ICanPrint (Android app) has a small box that can be used to connect an Android tablet to this printer.

We ordered and tested one of these boxes with a 10 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it works very well. The area is small, almost cubic and about 1.5 inch on each side. It requires a power source when printing.

ICanPrint customer support team is extremely sensitive. They worked with us to create a custom driver that meets some of our specific requirements.

Search for ICanPrint on Google play for more information. It is the first solution that we found that actually works, after many hours of agony (days, weeks) of the research.

  • OfficeJet 100 Mobile Bluetooth connection

    Hello

I plugged the printer Officejet 100 to my Mac, and it works perfectly if it is connected via a USB connection. However, I can not print if I try to use the Bluetooth connection. My computer recognizes the printer and it shows as connected but when I send a document, the printer queue indicates that the printer is not connected.

I'm using the latest drivers and my Mac running OS X, the latest version 10.8.4.

    Any help is appreciated!

Thank you very much in advance,

    Sergio.

I figured out how to solve this problem, and I write it here in case it helps someone else.

Despite the fact that a printer, it seems that I had to install the same printer twice: once (1 printer) for the USB connection and once again (printer 2) for the Bluetooth connection. It's the same device (only one printer) but because it connects to the computer in two different ways, the computer treats as two separatedly ones - or at least that's how I interpret it. The printer which connects via Bluetooth is the only appears under devices Blutooth. And, it works!

    3. Wait 1 minute.
    4. Install the backup battery. Connect the power cord to the wall on Let's then to the printer.  The printer must turns on automatically, if the printer does not Power On, then press the power button.

  • Office Jet 100: portable printer HP Officejet 100 question

I am trying to print a Tablet Samsung Tab 4 documents using the printer of the object. The printer and the Tablet is that both are compatible Bluetooth. Both are "matched" by the tablet screen. The printer will not print when asked to do so. It seems that the Tablet does not reconigze / or find the printer. Maybe I need to download a driver for the Tablet? Tired of doing it, but HP does not list a driver for the Officejet 100 online - or at least, I have not been able to find one. Any suggestions on how to get the printer works with / talk to the printer will be very appreciated. THX.

  • HP officejet 100: hp officejet 100 must often be reset

Printer often needs to be reset by pulling and plugging in the power cord. (battery not installed) when you print using bluetooth. This occurs by using two different computers

    Hello @bogman1,

I'd be more than happy to help you with your HP Officejet 100.

Can you develop exactly what is happening to the printer that requires you to do the hard reset on it?

    I tried to think about possibilities and I came with a few;

Is that when you try to move the connection from one computer to another?

    • Bluetooth is only for 1-to-1, so switching between computers could cause radio bluetooth to get confused - a hard reset would allow him to pair up with the new device.

The printer freeze or become unresponsive when it is connected to bluetooth, fixed to a computer?

Or do you just connectivity problems when you are associated with the printer to a computer?

These documents have plenty of advice for Bluetooth connectivity problems:

If you could add more details on this issue, I can be able to provide more information.

I hope I hear from you soon!

    Thank you

  • 1200W NFC: new HP Officejet 100 with NFC 1200w slow printing

I have been using a 1200w NFC to connect a HP officejet 100 mobile printing from my IPhone 6. The first impression would take less then 30 seconds to complete.  I had to get a new printer and 1200w, but the first impression now takes more than 3 minutes.

I tried to update the drivers, but printing is still slow.

I found the solution on youtube.

"It is a problem with most recent firmware HP published to the 1200w, which included Secure active by default printing. Newly purchased of 1200w, as well as those who are upgraded to the new firmware, can experience this problem. To speed up the printing process, follow these instructions. Secure print crypt the print job and it unencrypts then to the printer, which adds a lot of time to print.

Go to 192.168.223.1 in your iphone browser when you are connected to the printer. It comes to the management for the 1200w page. Click on "Network" and then click "Advanced settings". In the box "Enable the IPP", click the menu drop down and select "PIP Only". Click "Save". Restart the 1200w. Your print jobs should be fast again. »

Thanks for you help and I hope that this post helps to another.

  • OfficeJet 100: Officejet 100 print legal size paper?

    Hello

I hope that there could be a solution for this. Several users here have a problem with their printers Officejet 100 legal-size paper printing. Below is part of an email I received about this which explains it better that I could.

«Apparently some of the reps there have problems printing their contracts of legal size on their mobile printers HP Officejet 100.» It's happened for quite a while. The printer recognizes the document as the legal document, but printing is disabled: it begins printing in the middle of the image.

VRP have found a solution: they must go to the printer properties and choose explicitly legal paper in the drop size. It is already selected by default, but if they select manually it will print correctly. The problem is that: 1) it is a manual workaround, they must do so for EACH print, and 2) they frequently forget and have to reprint. »

They have already tried to install latest print drivers, but that has not helped. Printers seem to operate normally except for this. What could be the cause of this?

    Thank you.

    Hi @chris_hansen,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that you can not print on legal paper with your HP Officejet 100 on Windows 7. I'm happy to help you!

According to your specifications of the printerthis printer supports legal size paper, which is good. First of all, I would like to try running our HP print and Scan Doctor, to ensure that no conflict of driver. If all goes well, try the following:

  • With the help of hp officejet 100 in Malaysia

We are a trading company in Japan to buy "HP officejet 100 Mobile" to the United States. Then ship to the Malaysia and use it in Malaysia. In this situation,

1, the printer needs special care for use in Malaysia?

2, #1 question is 'YES', is the special maintenance able to do by ourselves (or need to send to HP WE?)?

3, the cartridges purchased in Malaysia can work without any problem?

    Appreciate for your fast support.

    Thank you.

    Hello

  • HP officejet 100: printer hp officejet 100 laptop will support Windows CE?

I'm working on Windows CE project.  I need to print with hp officejet 100 via Bluetooth or usb. I don't know if the printer hp officejet 100 laptop will support Windows CE or not. Can someone clarify for me please.

    Hi SureshR,

This OfficeJet 100 was not designed to work with Windows CE, as such. The specifications include Windows XP, Vista and 7.

You you can try the different drivers to see if none of them work. Also check for the built-in drivers in Windows CE. The specifications page points to www.westtek.com for Windows Mobile printing.

    Good luck
