Official blackBerry software version 10 10.2.1.3253 for Z10?

Hello everyone, I am new user of BB. My Z10 could not start before the software version 10.3. I didn't it was just beta. Now, I have the version 10.2.1.3253 for my Z10. But I have no idea where can I get the official?

Help, please

Thank you in advance.

OS v10.2.1.3253 officially launched, it is not at all beta.

You cannot "downgrade" the operating system by using the normal official channels officially. If you don't want to downgrade, you must use an autoloader file > OS10 upgrade using the automatic charger devices

or use Knowyou > Modernization BB10 OS using Knowyou

  • Z10 BBZ10 10.3.2.440 blackBerry software ruined my use of the telephone for calls

    Hi people,

I wonder if anyone can help me with this.  Since I upgraded to software BBZ10 10.3.2.440, when I slide the phone to answer my calls it is 7-10 sec delay on the ability of the other person to hear me.  In addition, there is a delay by tapping on my screen for the passwords and email.  Anyone else having this problem?  Is there a solution?

    Thank you very much!

How long it has been since you last updated?

Did you do a simple restart appropriate since?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • BlackBerry software, no chance to pass BB-mix for Z30 (10.2)

No chance to upgrade of mixture to use for Z30 (10.2). Because the mixture only support 10.3.

    Hi goodcraze,

As you said, BlackBerry mixture is only supported in BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3 and later. There is not a release of BlackBerry for BlackBerry 10 OS version 102 mixture.

However, an OS update 10.3.1 will be available in the future for the Z30 BlackBerry, allowing you to take advantage of this feature. No ETA is currently available for this version.

  • The software version of Q5 blackBerry 10.3.1 1865

Just updated the latest Blackberry software released today after I received a notice on my BB Q5 7903

What a mistake, this version is not as good for me that the previous version, has changed the look of my home screen and apps (hate) any way to eliminate this version and go back to my old version of everything as it was back?

First of all, let me tell you I don't think that it is worth.  This is where the BONE is directed.  If you pass, you make you vulnerable to web attacks FREAK and lose many useful improvements.

However, if you just can't live with it I would downgrade using an autoloader:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/BlackBerry-10-OS-device-software/upgrading-OS10-devices-using...

Once it is recharged, then you can restore the backup you have.  Still, I don't think it's worth, but it's your call.  I recommend making a backup now, where you later decide it was a mistake and want to upgrade again and that your data back.

  • I could develop Java Application for Blackberry device software version 5.0 to 6.0 JDE

    Hi, expert,

I saw this line of the ' BlackBerry Java Development Environment - 4.7.0 - fundamentals Guide'.

    It is said:

    ===============================

With each major version of the BlackBerry Device Software and the FMV of BlackBerry, Research In Motion includes the
corresponding Java API and version of the BlackBerry® Java® development environment. The version of the BlackBerry device
Software determines the version of the BlackBerry® integrated development environment that you can use to develop
applications. For example, RIM released BlackBerry Device Software version 4.0 and BlackBerry JDE version 4.0 in even
time. BlackBerry JDE version 4.0 supports APIs that were introduced in BlackBerry Device Software version 4.0
    and BlackBerry JVM version 4.0.

The applications that you create by using BlackBerry JDE Version 4.0 only work on BlackBerry devices
running BlackBerry Device Software version 4.0 or later.

    =========================

The last sentence talking about version 4.0 of JDE. I think that would mean that I could not develop a java application on JDE 6.0 for Blackberry 5.0 version of the software, even if I do not use any new API to 6.0. However, it seems to me that it is a useless limitation. Could someone throw some lights on it?

I'm going to agree with superdirt here.

I have the 5.0 OS update of applications work well on OS 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 of the OS OS phones.  I try not to recompile for levels of the OS, if I can, and so far I've been perfectly safe with OS 5.0 running on the later levels of the operating system.  So you should be able to get away with just using OS 5.0.

Not that it is important for you, but I just thought I documents some historical information about level changes.  .

As far as I know it 2 change cod in the file format, one to the 4.0 OS and the other in OS 4.2.  Therefore, if you want to run anything in OS 6.0 or above, it must be compiled in OS 4.2 or higher.  Again, I have applications compiled to OS 4.2 running on OS 6.0, without no problem devices.

There have been changes to the API - the result is that the code that works in OS xx does not work in OS yy where yy is after xx.  I hit a few of them and have so far managed to rework the code so that it works very well on both levels of the operating system.  In general it is things that I do wrong anyway, as the older operating systems (from memory) are not as strict on when the event Thread must be used.

The problem with OS 4.7 compatibility is an impact and to get more of this, for devices touch screen only, I compile using OS 4.7.  If an application that uses only the functionality that was available in the OS 4.2, I compile on OS 4.2 for non touch screen phones and OS 4.7 for touchscreen phones.  And everything works fine.

    I hope this helps.

  • Version of the blackBerry software 10 compared to the Version of the OS

    Greetings,

Link, the software version and the Version of the OS for my PlayBook are 2.1.0.1917. For the Z10, however, the version of the software is 10.2.1. 2977and the Version of the OS is 10.2.1. 3247. so, what's the difference between the version of the software and OS Version?

    Thank you

    Shane.

The version of the software is everything, including the operating system, files of radio apps etc. It is actually a set of programs and includes the operating system; If the versions do not match because they are slightly different things.

When we say what version using you - we usually want to know the version of the OS, because that's what you get when you type in "myver" on the keyboard for BlackBerry.

Hope that it clears up a bit.

    Yes, you can.

  • BlackBerry software melt sync Outlook 2013 Contacts and calendar (installed version)?

With Outlook 2013 (64 bit in any case) Blackberry supports more synchronization with link (apparently and other posts).

I'll buy a passport, if the synchrnoization was incorporated with mixture but not otherwise.

I'm ONLY interested in Contacts and calendar.  I'm a consultant independent and my clients communicate appointments for meetings with Outlook on my PC. I have to be able to synchrnize those with my Smartphone.  I am told, but I have not confirmed that it is possible with a Windows phone.

    Hi @jgrobertson,

@John_Clark is correct, that mixture of BlackBerry allows you to view the data stored on the device using your computer or tablet. It does not support synchronization of data contacts and calendar data. For syncornize these data, you will need to use BlackBerry link for Windows that supports Outlook 2013 64 bit (source).

If you run into issues the first thing I would recommend to ensure that you use the most up to the BlackBerry link version. As long as you are, and a problem occurs always pop by the BlackBerry link discussion Forum and publish a detailed summary of the issue, then you meet the community can help out you! Thank you

  • BlackBerry 10 Z10 battery drains 2 times faster after OS upgraded to 10.2.1.3062 10 Nov/14 software version

Z10 battery drains 2 times faster after OS upgraded to 10.2.1.3062 10 Nov/14 software version (OS version is now at 3442). I use to charge my phone once every 4 days, but now I need to load every 2 days.

I use no Bluetooth, no WIFI, have no applications running, no text and no phone call. Emails only 2 or 3 per day. Display says battery system 22% use, standby 7%, PIM 3%, home of screen display of 2%, 1%, and the rest are less then. 1%. I need to know what service or feature that turned on the update of the software so that I can turn it off.

I ran a few tests and one of them was to turn on my WiFi. This reduces the rate of use of battery significantly drain (I would have thought would have increased with WiFi on battery drain). After the execution of WiFi for a day I shut it off and my battery usage seems to be back to what I had before the upgrade of the OS. I rebooted on Sunday afternoon, it's now Tuesday night and I'm only up to 63% and the unit figures monitor I have 2 more days still to go. Yes, problem solved by running WiFi for a day. Go figure.

  • BlackBerry software is there any REP RIM here? They have noticed what is happening? I can't move the Z10 to Q10 data

Is there a representative of RIM here?
I know it's a common problem, I see a lot of forums, here, crackberry and many others still problems with a link to BlackBerry.
    1. I can not switch device of Z10 to Q10, 1 he says my old software a Q10, I've updated to the latest, now it says please make sure that my device is connected and try again, I press Retry and still failed to detect (to restore the data from backup Z10 to Q10) other than that, it can detect my Q10.
    2. in order to restore the backup data, you must connect on BlackBerry ID first and it makes your BBM contact transferred without the others, contact, SMS, calendar, notes, alarms, settings, etc. I think back to the Z10 and subsequently all my cats opened in Z10 simply disappear, I still important chat with appointments, addresses, price negotiation, hotel reservations, argh it of frustrating because whenever I wanted to again restore device, it will ask you to log in again, and how is it going to decide who is my PIN valid across my BBM contact if I keep switching like that device back...

Why can it not be like the old days of the OS 4, 5, 6, 7 and 7.1?
Where we can make full or partial backups and restore it on any device and any OS?
Did not have a proper test and research before releasing OS10 and link to BlackBerry on the market? (This question goes to the RIM Rep wherever you are)
If you want to make all your clients run away because that your software and have problems, you did

It's my last bad experience with BlackBerry before OS10
Laughable poor camera on 9900 I cannot take pictures of receipts and documents, and I have to charge 3 times per day (this is supposed to be a 'mobile phones'? I'm always done with flat battery when I'm mobile, and I stuck on the charger for hours waiting to load)
And now this... Come on do RIM, something please we really like your device...

I like most of the devices are 9700 and 9780, with the exception of the Office Manager who is not the automatic text backup. Great camera, battery life.

BTW I'm using the latest version of link but still cannot restore data.

    Hello

    virtue says:
Is there a representative of RIM here?

Note the banner at the top of most pages on this site:

This site is not a channel for any official communication with, climb in, nor the official BlackBerry support, for any purpose.

    virtue says:

Why can it not be like the old days of the OS 4, 5, 6, 7 and 7.1?

For BB10 was not an evolution of BBOS... it is completely new, and unfortunately they do not take all considerations of preliminary design and use them when they created BB10 and he has associated with sets of tools.

    virtue says:

Where we can make full or partial backups and restore it on any device and any OS?

This feature, well as requested by many, has not been implemented. It is impossible for anyone here to know if/when it will never be so.

It seems that the rest of your post was for most of the comment or directed to a public not in this community of user-to-user public, so I'll just leave those alone.

    Good luck!

  • Update blackBerry software 10 over the mobile network data connection

I have a notification of today on software update software version 10.3.1.1565 is available. But the update is suspended with a note: 'you are connected to the mobile network. This software update is too large to be downloaded via the network. Use a Wi - Fi network. ' Really? I have 30 GB data plan and I don't want to connect to any Wi - Fi and I don't want to connect to any PC, I want to use my mobile data plan to download this update. Is it possible to do? Thank you!

I don't think that you can set on the device. If you go to

Settings > software updates > Options

    You see the following:

"Depending on your service provider, downloads will be in a Wi - Fi or a mobile network".

So it's not in your hands of Blackberry, but with your carrier.

  • Q10 of blackBerry software update failed

I tried to update my software (version 10.2.1.2977), but every time I do it just indicates the update has failed. Access to internet is very good and it is connected to a power source, but nevertheless does not seem to work.

Hello and welcome to the community!

You did not reveal what software update method, you try, so I think that you try updating wireless on the device. I recommend to renounce this attempt and instead try the following:

  • What is the difference between the "Software Version" and "Version of the platform?

I posted in this forum, because there is a maximum activity in this forum. Sorry, if this is not a good place to post this kind of question.

What is the difference between the "Software Version" and "Version of the platform" of any blackberry device?

My camera's curve 8900 and I can see in the menu About his version of software is 4.6.1.231 and the version of the platform is 4.2.0.108. What are these 2 versions for?

Probably the best posted in the software section of the device, but is not serious.

Version of the software/App - indicates the version of your applications (address book, browser, calendar, etc.).
Version of the platform - indicates your version of system software (Java based software, radio code, etc.).

  • 10 blackBerry OS Version number

BB link says that my Q5 running the latest version of the 10.2.1.3422 software. However, my Q5 indicates the version of the software used is 10.2.1.3062.

How can I tell who is right?

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Thank you! : )

    Hi veedub,.

Link to blackBerry and the BlackBerry smartphone will show you the version OS device as well as the SR version. These versions may appear differently, but come in pairs (which is expected).

In connection of BlackBerry, this version information is available on the main screen when your device is connected. On the BlackBerry smartphone, you can display OS/SR versions by going to settings > about and select 'OS' in the list menu drop-down category.

Your device is running OS 10.2.1.3442, which has a version associated with SR 10.2.1.3062 (you can check it out on your device). It is the version matching for the software currently loaded on your device. Your device and the BlackBerry link display the correct version and the software, so an update should not be necessary.

    I hope this explanation helps!
