  I have LaserJet 4200, which raises the paper when the selector on tray 2 is in the custom position, but does not throw when the selector is set to Standard. From what I see when you switch selector in Standard or custom, the only difference is the three bars in plastic on the side of the status bar engaged three contacts in the printer when the tray is in. When the tray is in Standard mode, only the contact in the middle is engaged.

  I'm not sure if it's the average contact in the printer that is inoperable, or maybe the coil in the engine of the elevator that is connected to the central contact. And I can't find anything on the replacement of the elevator tray 2 on the web engine.

  I'm seriously going crazy right about now... my problem is the following:

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100, Windows XP Professional with SP2, memory: 512 MB.

  About two weeks ago my cursor began to move up and down whenever I pressed the space bar. It has gotten worse since. My cursor moves out of control across the screen (there are usually in the upper right or lower left) and I can not recover. I know for a fact that it has nothing to do with my external mouse (optical), because this problem also occurs when I use my pointing device. Even in safe mode.

  The thing I've tried:
  Ran Spybot: Search and Destroy
  Ran Adaware
  Xoftspy RAN
  A ran Symantic Antivirus 10 (complete analysis of the system in safe mode)
  New keyboard
  New motherboard

  Nothing helps. I'm this close to format my pc. Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do?

  I am running Windows XP with Service Pack 3 installed and have the HP Office Jet Pro 8500 connected to my PC and share it on my network. I had recently changed the visuals for my system and allocated some more virtual memory to improve performance of my system. We also did an upgrade of our software database (the update was made on all PC on our network).

  Even if I have the printer connected to my PC, I am not able to print to this subject, other computers on the network has no problem printing to this printer, but when I send a job to the printer, the printer reacts as if it will start printing, gives a beep and stops, no error message is returned.

  It seems that some service has been stopped, even though I don't see any HP service disabled in my list of services.
  I am able to print a test page for my toolbox, but not from any other program installed on my PC.

  To begin with, Wild Child, sounds like it could well be a configuration issue with the software. I will recommend that we will start by removing and reinstalling the software on the HP website directly. I'll link you to that, but I will not link you to the page for the A909a. You have not specified which 8500 you have, so if you have a different model number, you will need to find the support page for this printer.

  First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it (it's important). Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed.   You should change the copy settings to use the 2nd tray, then you can set it as default:

  1. Click the copy on the front panel of the printer.
  2. Click settings.
  3. Click Select status bar , and then select tray 2.

  You can set the default tray by selecting set as new defaults in the settings menu even.

  Please try the procedure on the fron printer below Panel.

  1. Press SETUP, then
  2. Touch TOOLS, then
  3. Touch RESTORE to the FACTORY DEFAULT

  Now try printing.

  The installer works with Windows 8 in the sense that there are no problems during the intallation.

  Printing works fine, but you can't scan. You get an error message indicating that the scanner is in use.

  If you use another utility, say Windows Fax and Scan, it will work very well.

  Obviously, there is a bug in the utility scanner included with the HP software. The workaround for now, is to find a third-party utility or use what comes with Windows.

  I hope that HP solves the problem. It shouldn't be very hard

  First step: clear temp directory

  1. Type %temp% term or search programs and files of field
  2. Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).
  3. Proceed to step 2 below

  Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

  1 download the drivers and full software features

  2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

  3. when the installation window opens, press the Cancel button to stop the installation

  4. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

  5. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

  6. right click on the folder and select copy

  7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

  8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

  9 open the Util folder

  10 open the CCC folder

  11 start the uninstall_L4

  12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

  14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

  The Prime Minister has 8500, two bins for paper, one for 8.5 x 11 and the default tray handles 8.5 x 14.

  OK, unfortunately the printer will do that automatically. However, if you go into your printing preferences, you can configure a print shortcut that makes switching back MUCH easier. If you need help on how to do that let me know.

  I can't access my webpage "network folder Setup.

  I can access my page main printer very well using the IP of the printer.   I click on Scan up fine, I then click on "configuration of the network folder" and it tries to load and then goes to a screen "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT".

  He warned me the first time that he has been using HTTPS and I approved that.  I currently records on my printer set up awhile back and they work fine but must modify and add a little more.

  I tried multiple computers and devices with the same results.
