There is the driver for Windows XP and Vista, but there isn't one available for W7. This driver is apparently available in the package of Robson. I tried the one for Vista, but it's no party.

  I use a card HSDIO 6551 and I have some problems to acquire some data.

  Here's the problem: I use channels 0-7 to send commands to a nand flash memory and I also use this channel to read data memory then sent me (it's a multiplex bus).

  I configured 2 sessions, one for the generation and the other for the acquisition and when comes the time of acquisition, the session of generation puts its channels 0-7 in high impedance.

  Finally, I get some datas, but I noticed that when I have a few bytes that start with 0xFx, IE 0xF5 or 0xFF for instances, this datas are not acquired.

  In my view, is not a software problem but material one.

  Products used:

  -PCI OR 6551

  -Cable cable SHC68-C68-D4 (1 m)

  -CB - 2162 prototype Board

  I wonder if it would be a termination problem because there is no termination on my CB - 2162? I'm running at 1 Mhz up to now and the problem is still there.

  It was a problem of termination as I said... My pcb needs a parallel termination of 10K.

• files and folders in the windows.old folder missing

  Recently, I updated my windows 8. (a day and a half)

  Today I was moving the content in the folder windows.old to the other locations, (4 ~ 5 h ago)

  Suddenly, after the computer has restarted, the content in the windows.old folder disappeared except for users and windows folders.

  I copy the files from windows.old/Program files and I don't know that I do not delete the folder by myself.

  I read previous posting on similar problems, but that's because they kept their too long files or their disk space was not enough.

  But I have enough space in my C drive and just refreshed 1 ~ 2 days ago.

  I did not drive or any cleaning that is.

  It is unreasonable to a system to remove the backup files after a few days without noticing.

  Please let me know how to solve this problem and to recover these files.

  I can understand the importance of data could be in the Windows.old folder and we regret the inconvenience.

  Yes, Windows 8 has a new timer feature which will automatically delete Windows.old files after a period of 4 weeks since the upgrade. The idea is to avoid the waste of space giving you plenty of time to get what you need out of the folder and delete those that sit for months or even years.

  Since it's just been 1-2 days of update process, you can activate the "hidden objects" to see if the Windows.old files appear.

  As you open the file Explorer, click view and check the hidden items

  In addition, if you use third-party antivirus program control the log of activities see if there is any action taken at the time where the files have disappeared.  Most of the antivirus program automatically deletes the default files. You can change these settings, however, it is not recommended.

  If I understand correctly, the ThinkPad T43 uses modules of memory SO - DIMM DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200, for example), so it seems that you have selected the good memory.

  The POSIX or/dev/SHM shared memory is 50% of physical RAM by default. If you want to change the default, you need to specify your OS version, because it depends on.

  However, thanks to WMA or/dev/shm in a system with more than 16 GB of RAM you are going to lose a lot of performance and memory, which, according to Oracle Linux engineering is the reason number 1 for poor Oracle database performance. Memory POSIX shared in your configuration will result in the loss of performance due to TLB misses and waste memory only to manage the memory of 4 KB pages.

  I recommended that configure the system using the kernel hugepages, which use memory 2 MB pages, remove memory_target and memory_max_target of your instance settings file and configure the database to use EAMA.

  You are allowed two installs. You can simply download, install and activate on the new Mac.

  A clean install is less prone to errors that he recovering from backup.

  When you are sure you don't need the old installation, just disable and uninstall it.

  My cell phone is 8 GB, 1 TB with the 24Go running Windows 8.1 MSSD.

  I want to upgrade to 10 windows, but do not want to 'upgrade' this particular configuration.  What I would do is update my 16 GB ram and my HD to a 1 TB SSD.

  (1) upgrade to 16 GB means that I can't use the WSSD of 24 GB than anything more correct?  I guess if I upgrade the essential motivation for one SSD I more need for MSSD. Or is - that's a good idea to upgrade the WSSD to 32 GB then the swap file on a drive "distinct"?  (is this obsolete technology, old school board?)

  (2) is there a way to download Windows 10 and burn on a DVD or USB installation and then install "fresh" of without first upgrading my mechanical drive Windows 8.1?  The reason is, I'm a student, I can't have my laptop down for awhile so I can't afford a 1/100 chance I'm going to kill my laptop and Miss assignments.  I think if I start the upgrade and have problems, I can put the old drive, remove the extra memory and get until I can afford more downtime.

  Anyway, any help on this is appreciated.  My computer works very well for being a 2 years, so if I can't do it a bit without pain, I'll go ahead and leave it as what.  Thanks for any idea you may have.

  The clean install with Windows 10 will require that buy you it and the upgrade is free, updates and I did probably 15 to 20 of them, went virtually flawless for me. If you clone, just do a "sizing" of leave and small differences will be accrued.
