old mac without intel. What Acrobat I can run, where is it, 30-day trial?

I am running 10.5.8 on an old mac without processor intel. Including Acrobat I can run, where can I find this download and can get a 30-day trial?

Download here:

The last PPC compatible version which run on your OS should be Acro 9, but v8 really works on 10.5.8 (still have it on my old MacBook in 2006 with the same OSX) and everything should also provide a PPC environment only.

    Hello

All that will take place on this system... the score is only an approximation of the ability to run programs.
Most of the programs except for intense games will run. The manufacturer usually warn or indicate the minimum

In Vista maximizing memory to 4 GB will help. Upgrading the video card and even the hard drive

  • What embedded devices can run java?

I know raspberry pi can run java, but the raspberry pi is expensive for very small applications like flashing LED some and such. so that all options for the lower part and less expensive integrated microcontrollers (not necessarily full boards)?

How do I know if a device can run java? key words to look for?

    Hello

Unfortunately, Raspberry PI's on cheaper Embedded devices with Java ME embedded inside.

Look, Java ME embedded can be distributed in two ways:

    1. non-commercial OTN being distributed for free that available on Oracle Java ME embedded it comes to runtimes Java ME shipped for non-commercial use. I think raspberry is the cheaper camera

    2. peripheral commercial Java ME produced and distributed by suppliers. You can try to find out the real price of the modules gemalto (M2M Modules and terminals in wireless communications) in your country. It may be less expensive than the Raspberry PI.

  • DOI, I need to install Adobe Acrobat DC if I used it for 7 day trial

I signed up for a free 7 day trial of Adobe Acrobat DC. Then I bought a monthly subscription - before the trial expires. I followed a few links which told me to install the program. When I started the process, I got a message that a more functional program was already installed. Can I keep the program I have now? If so, should I do anything to keep him? If not, I sign upward for an inferior product I have now (seems to me that the message that I now have a 'more functional program' implies that)? Currently my main need is to be able to export PDFs to doc or docx microsoft word files. Thank you

Seems good. Now you have it installed?

  • Old Mac, new Canon 7 d,-I can't edit the RAW files of him.

I have an older Powerbook G4 from Mac that works very well with my old XTi Canon and editing RAW images also. Now I have a new 7 D Canon and Lightroom will not open this camera RAW images. I am to the most recent version of Camera Raw plugin and cannot go higher, unless I buy a new Intel Mac, I don't want to right now. I avoided the process of exporting of files Lightroom I want to edit in Photoshop as a DNG files and open them from there. It is the only option I have at the moment.

Any comments or help? Is it the way it should be done? I noticed that I don't have 8-bit images now, which is very good. I'm not a high range professional who needs to 16 bits or higher images right now.

I'd appreciate some feedback in how should I configure my workflow with this new camera.

    Thank you

    Ken

Probably the best thing to do is to let Lightroom to make 16-bit tiff files. You simply remove the folder plugin for Photoshop ACR and when you do a "Edit in Photoshop" Lightroom simply renders a tiff image and sends it to Photoshop instead of send a reference to the RAW or DNG file. It is a way of making CS3 work with all the features of LR 2.

  • What user groups can run updates?

I would firstly a security in AD group that would be able to run updates on a windows 7, but would not be able to install new programs.  If they would be able to update all programs (not only updates MS but java, flash, chrome, etc.) would be a plus.  I wish they were able to update these things without giving them full administrator rights.  Do safety group part of which group of users would I need?

Updates happen automatically as a system service, even if logged in as a normal user account.  And given that the normal user accounts cannot install new programs, which should meet your needs.

  • Need to put in place an old Mac Mini and restore from a backup

I have a strange question.   My husband, who is quite old and disabled, a die of his old Mac Mini.  Well a friend gave us a 'new' old mini so he could get up and running, but I need to do two things.  One is I need to get all the programs they had on it because it's much too heavy for an old mini without intel.   I also need to keep things simple for the husband.   The second thing I have to do is restore all his tricks of the time Capsule.    The mini has the former user on that stuff and I would like to clear all that I am has it down to the setup of the wizard, I can have then take off all the data from the Capsule and put it in the mini.  Is there a way to do it?   Thank you

  • Installation 10.11.6 El Capitan with 10.6.8 Snow Leopard on old Mac Pro 4.2 multiboot?

Looking for savvy here advice...  I have an old Mac Pro 4.2 (cheese grater) that runs Snow Leopard 10.6.8.  It is a wonderful workhorse machine, who served me tirelessly for many years.  It is obviously older and slower, but works very well.  I love 10.6.8.  If Apple ever updated the Mac Pro line (I know, probably not... sigh...), I'll buy one and replace this machine.  Until then, I keep doing this work.

This machine is a beast, has been upgraded with internal hard drives 1 TB three (he also got a couple internal HDs inherited from 750 and 500 MB used for storage).  I have also several external 1-4 to, hip, FW800 drives too.  A host of storage, of course, and should be a lot of options to start on several systems.

I am generally satisfied with 10.6.8 on this machine, although there are obvious limits to that.  I would get one or two operating systems newer on it, pick-and-choose between them according to the needs, but I absolutely want to/need to preserve the ability to initiate and run 10.6.8 systematically as my operating system on the day the day, at least for now.  Maybe I'll warm to one of the others on this machine eventually, but 10.6.8 must remain usable, install a newer OS on other readers may not nerve there.

On a year-and-a-half ago, I took a race to install 10.10.3 Yosemite on one of the internal disks.  This doesn't quite work.  I moved, sniffed Yosemite everywhere, don't really like it a lot and went to restart and him switch back to 10.6.8 for a bit.  Initially, it was impossible (from less than I expected, would be the same old process, I have always used, via system preferences > startup disk).  You can read the details of this experience here and more here if you are interested.  This latest attempt to get Yosemite on this machine was a very negative experience.  Yosemite is still there on an internal HD, but I tried not to boot on it since then.

Now I take another look at this.  What is the engine now, is that I want to update my iPad Mini 3 iOS 10.  But that (update of an iDevice iOS 10) requires iTunes 12.5.1.  And iTunes 12.5.1 requires Mac OS X 10.9.5 or newer - it won't work with 10.6.8.  I'm looking for my options.

Right now, I have three large internal HDs: HD #1, 2 # HD and HD #3, each 1 TB.

HD #1 has 10.10.3 Yosemite on this.  I started from this time and have not resumed since.

HD #2 has 10.6.8 Snow Leopard top.  This is my main operating system and startup of daily drive.

HD #3 is nothing special about it.

Although HD #1's Yosemite about that, I have only started from this disc once and hesitate to go back, at least until I can get a way easy and reliable to restart off HD #2.

I understand that I can also get 10.11.6 El Capitan.  I thought that installing on HD #3.  That sounds like a reasonable to add option, but again, I want to make sure it won't cause problems to switch back to start off HD #2 in Snow Leopard (such as installation of Yosemite on HD #1).

What is the best way for me to go about safely - preserve the option to start easily in 10.6.8 on HD #2?

    Thanks for the help!

If you start or restart now Option (Alt) key and calls the Startup Manager, you should be given the choice at the start of any boot disk OS X on any of the readers.

  • Apple Cinema Display with old Mac

Hello! I was wondering, I have an apple Cinema Display with the famous ADC video plug. I also have a couple of old Mac without a monitor, for example a performa 6360 Powermac 6100 and Macintosh iicx and Iisi. Y at - it a video adapter to use the movie with these old Mac screen? is this possible?

    Thanks in advance!

The main obstacle is that a screen ADC must get its power through an ADC port on the computer. The old Mac you list can only the power of their old school connectors.

    I remember this adapter:

be needed to power a monitor ADC to an ADC not Mac, but I would feel much better if another old graybeard archived to check my aging memory. You still need an adapter to convert the DVI on the adapter port 15 pin Apple old Mac. Some 6100 s required a special just HDI15-to-DB15 adapter to use a normal Apple display that would have been contemporary the 6100:
