old version of lightroom on new computer

I had an older version of Lightroom, I think it was 5 or 6, on a computer that died on me.  I bought a new computer and that you wanted to put lightroom on it without having to buy the latest version.  I tried to download the trial version and put my product key for the previous version, but it was not valid.  Is there a place I can get from older versions, so I can use the product key that I paid for?

Thank you

Lisa

Hi crisalida,.

Please follow the link to download the previous version of the Lightroom software below.

Install Photoshop Lightroom

Note: First check the version of Lightroom and then download, because if you download the wrong version of Lightroom serial number does not have to activate it.

Kind regards

Hello. I would like to activate my educational program CS3 (version 2007) on my new computer. Unfortunately, it does not accept my serial number. What can I do? I delayed the program on my old computer, but it does not accept the activation on the new laptop.

Make sure you use the correct serial number.  Quickly find your serial number

If you do not disable the original installation, then it is possible that your two activations permits were used, and you need to reset your counter to activate.  For this you must contact the Adobe Support via chat and ask them to reset your activations.  If you ask for more than that they will tell you that they cannot offer you any support.

  • Can I recover my old version of windows on the computer and use it on my old laptop?

    Original title: windows 8.

Last year, I bought a new desktop computer Acer with windows 8 and installed my windows professional 8.1 on it!

My question is! can I recover my old version of windows on the computer and use it on my old laptop because it was purchased with this PC AND how I to get it back?

I am braking the rules by doing this? the original key was included with the purchase of my new Acer and I should be able to pick it up and install it on another device?

If I can't, I'll have to buy a new one to upgrade my old windows laptop 7. I'm trying to save money! That's why I ask this question.

    Roger

No, you cannot transfer the original license that is pre-installed on your Acer, it relates to it because it is an OEM license.

The OEM of Windows 8 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

  • Lightroom on new computer or an old computer to migrate opening?

    Hello

I got a new iMac 27 "with all updates. I intend to install and use lightroom for my huge photographer portfolio. I have Aperture on my old computer.

I have to install lightroom on the former power to migrate my photos? I have my new computer and an old computer connected to migrate everything, but can not find a way to make the photos without having to install on the new opening? OR lightroom on the former. Thanks for the help.

Each step is sufficiently important in its own right, so avoid trying too much in a go.

My recommendation would be to get your environment of openness on the new machine and check that everything came out correctly. Essentially, this means that the Aperture itself library (file aplibrary) and your photos, and you do not say that they managed (IE inside the aplibrary) or referenced (IE in files). But I would say get opening installed and current running on the new computer - if you do not have the disc, the opening must be in your purchases in the app store. Take a break and be sure that you have left something. Then perform the migration of Lightroom on what is probably a more rapid/more great computer.

  • How can I delete an old version of Lightroom? I use Mountain Lion on Mac.

    Hello

I upgrade to Lightroom 3 to 5 of Lightroom. It was no problem. My photos have been imported into Lightroom 5. But Lightroom 3 was not removed from my computer. How can I remove this old version in the right direction?

I use Mountain Lion on Mac.

    Thank you

I'm not a Mac user. But you remove Lightroom just as you would remove any other application from your system. If you purchased Lightroom 5 as an upgrade, it was probably know the serial number of your Lightroom 3. I suggest that you store that Lightroom 3 number somewhere, you will remember because it will be necessary if/when you decide to upgrade to a new version of Lightroom.

And, just to clarify, there is no interdependence between your Lightroom 5 and Lightroom 3. They are independent applications.

  • Lightroom 4 new computer

I followed the steps precisely as lined out in the following video:

    http://TV.Adobe.com/watch/the-complete-picture-with-Julieanne-Kost/how-to-migrate-LR-to-an other-computer.

However, the migration does NOT work.  Here is my initial configuration:

Lightroom 4.1 on desktop.  .lrcat files are stored on the C drive of the computer.  Photos are stored on directory MS Exchange Server.

    Moving to:

New office with Windows 8.  Just installed Lightroom 4.1, not 4.2 since the original computer was only 4.1.  Copied all the pictures of the server on the new hard drive.  Followed the instructions in the above video and loaded said files on an external hard drive.  Moved those files to the new computer, install in the same directory as the other computer.  Open the .lrcat file.  Because previous records were redirected to the server, I remove these from the file toolbar, which is when I lose the tags of Collections.  The location of this directory even import from the NEW C drive computer.  Now I see in the directory, only that I imported, the images are duplicated and duplicated.

What has happened in the meantime:

Followed by another set of tracks on the internet where you "export" as a catalogue.  I brought the files to the NEW computer and started making changes.  Then, I noticed that there is a problem.  Not all the photos came as they should have.  I had to print screen all the new changes I just made on the NEW screen and made these same changes on the OLD computer, so I could have a computer with common files for all.  This is where I did a new search to find out how to transfer files and found the video above.

Now, in a directory, I have the following problems:

Image 1 - has the original file when changing brush pins are visible.  However, the changes are changes to origin of the OLD computer, not the ones I've done recently.

Image 2 - Image, but without pins or changes on the panels.  It's as if it's the original file as it was taken by the camera, which is not.  I should mention here, these special photos that I work with are .jpg.  I would like to make. NAVE, but cannot solve these problems to even start watching in others.

Picture 3 - the original photo in its color.

My problem is I do not know one to use and I don't know if my other are coming through incorrectly.  I don't want to start working on a new computer to see my other images didn't transfer properly and I have two versions on two different computers.  I do NOT copy the images .jpg from the server to the NEW computer after their up-to-date with recent changes.  I didn't get it because I thought that these changes were stored in the catalog.  I have copied the new files on again on the hard drive?    I confirmed that I use the correct .lrcat file.  The strange thing, however, when I copy my OLD external computer .lrcat file hard drive it shows a date 01/01/13.  When I copy from the external hard drive to the NEW computer, the date changes at 12/25/2012.  I double checked this and done it twice.  Both times, he changed the date on me, but may not be a big problem?

Who can help me understand this point, I would greatly appreciate.  I have been working on it for 2 days now and can't get one right implemented directory, not to mention, my Collection tags lacking now causing additional work.  And perhaps that nothing of all this.  If someone can tell me how to install Lightroom on a new computer while moving the photos on a server and placing them on the new computer, that would be great!  I am at a point with the new computer I can start over completely.

    Thank you!

    Eva

Because previous records were redirected to the server, I remove these from the file toolbar, which is when I lose the tags of Collections.  The location of this directory even import from the NEW C drive computer.  Now I see in the directory, only that I imported, the images are duplicated and duplicated.

I have not watched that video in particular, but I can imagine it as the instructions in the video. It is a mistake. You don't delete these folders in the folder Panel. Instead, you just right-click on the top-level folder and select 'Find the missing folder', then to point LR to the new location of the photos. That's it, you're done.

So, I would go ahead and repeat this part:

New office with Windows 8.  Just installed Lightroom 4.1, not 4.2 since the original computer was only 4.1.  Copied all the pictures of the server on the new hard drive.  Followed the instructions in the above video and loaded said files on an external hard drive.  Moved those files to the new computer, install in the same directory as the other computer.  Open the .lrcat file.

    and follow my instructions above.

  • How can I get my old iMac Mavericks on my new computer El Capitan iPhoto?

I'm an amateur photo with literally thousands of photos of scenic and nature, all labeled with keywords and manually marked locations (since my DSLR is not an internal GPS and therefore cannot automatically geotag photos) in iPhoto on our old computer that runs on the Mavericks. Recently, we bought a new iMac that runs on El Capitan, and when we moved my data from the old computer, all of my iPhoto library moved into Photos. Unfortunately, because the pictures does not support the manual tagging locations, all hours of work I put in dropping the pins on maps to show the exact location where all my photos have been taken has disappeared. Enter Photos and keywords to adapt to all of the States, cities and specific locations where these pictures were taken just is not practical; my list of keywords would get horribly difficult to handle, and a good number of these photos were taken in "one-of-a-kind" tasks because they were taken on the fly from a moving vehicle. And that is not even taking into consideration all overtime work that would result. There must be someone out there who is dealing with the frustration of having to deal with a system that was designed for the casual snapshot-takers rather than serious photo enthusiasts! I still have the old computer with iPhoto installed on it and all the photos that I put in it until we bought the new computer. Is it possible that I can get the old computer to the new iPhoto? Can I put it on an external drive or DVD and copy it to the El Cap computer as iPhoto, or will it simply push all in Photos or choke and gag on that? I continue to work with my photos in iPhoto on your old computer, and I hope that he does not die in the near future? (And while we're at it, has any outside me informed Apple photos how bad works for those who need features in iPhoto that does not get incorporated in the Photos? I left a note on the comments, but I have no way of knowing if someone is on my suggestion.)

Click here and try following the instructions; you will only be able to do if you got before where associated with iPhoto on the Mac App store.

A version of aged more than 9.6 iPhoto does not open in Yosemite and newer.

  • Move a version upgrade to a new computer

I am running Windows 8 Pro on my desktop I built from scratch in 2008. My path to the current operating system went Vista Ultimate Edition (full version) > Windows 7 Professional (updated) > Windows 8 Professional (upgrade). All the steps have been performed with the new software of the retail (not OEM versions) and I got all the records & codes activation. I'll add that I bought and installed upgrading Win8 less than a month ago.

Since then, I decided to build a new computer using the Haswell i7 architecture and an SSD for the boot drive, and I want to start with a clean OS install. The old system will be eliminated parted and the boot drive is destroyed.
Is there a way to install my license Pro Win8 existing on the new system? If so, is it possible to do without the installation of Vista and upgrade to Win7 and then Win8? I guess I should buy a new Pro Win8 license, but it will cost nearly $300 if I merge the $90 I just spent from Win7 to Win8.
Any advice will be appreciated. -Pete-

    2. then press the ENTER"" key.

    3. Select your "country" in the list.

  • How to activate an old version of Lightroom?

I bought Creative cloud a few months ago and recently reset my computer. I downloaded an older version of Lightroom, because the latest version on the CC has slow down my computer. is there a way I can activate this version without having to purchase a new activation code?

There is no activation mechanism in older than 6 Lightroom versions.

If you mean you want to install Lightroom 5 or earlier then the only way to do this is with a serial number and the only way to get one is by buying a copy. However, Adobe sells more than 5 Lightroom you need to try a retailer like Amazon.

  • How to download Lightroom on new computer

I got 4 Lightroom and then bought the lightroom upgrade 5 online.  Now I have a new computer and want to install lightroom 5, can I just download the upgrade I bought directly from my adobe account, or do I install Lightroom 4 first?

You shouldn't need to install version 4.  Just install 5 and follow the prompts when you activate it.
