  I had a similar problem with Vista (64-bit edition complete edition) machine. I run automatic backups for more than a year. Suddenly, backups started fail with the following error code:

  "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable 0 x 80070570.

  I thought it would be my external drive - so I tried an another one - same error. After a search of different topics around, I tried various fixes (similar to above), but none of them worked.

  I managed to find the problem though. The issue is not with the drive being written - it's the current backup disc that is the problem. If you want to save your primary drive (C:, for example), try to perform a check of the errors on this drive (right click on your drive home, you are trying to save, choose 'Properties' then go to 'tools' - click 'Check now' under the control of errors - and check both boxes). Since this is the current drive, you must stop and restart - the system then automatically checks the system files and windows files on the next boot.

  After doing this, my problem cleared up. Apparently, the backup software was crashing trying to read a corrupted file or a sector of the hard disk, that he was backing.

  If you have replaced TrustedIstaller with something else, which could very well be a part of the problem.  It is a user of the system and it can be called by the name of some programs and if she isn't here so the program does not know what to do.  I don't know how to solve this problem - I don't think add that a new administrator account to the user with this name will do (because it will have a different code).  In my view, that a re - install is the only way to solve this particular problem.

  CONGRATULATIONS on finding a disk for Installation of Windows Vista SP2 genuine - I guess that it's 32-bit (like your system).  It is exactly what you need - a commercial version.  The OEM versions do not work because they include device drivers specific to their computers and those who will hose your system unless they have exactly the same system for (and I don't think you can do an upgrade by using the OEM versions - at least not all of them - just a clean install {although I found a HP and it has used to update my XP system crashed then) ({I was waiting the disc of real update that I bought from Dell - not exactly kosher but finally in compliance}).  Here is the procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html.  Although this will not affect your data, settings or programs, you should always back up your data before you start just be on the safe side (by copy and paste if necessary even if you can't use the full backup feature). If other procedures do not work, it is almost certain to work.  You can have a lot of updates to re - install.  What version of Vista do you have currently?  I think that the drive will work with any version of Vista (they contain probably all versions on them and that they install is governed by the Code of the product used - but I have never actually tried using a different version of disc - I only heard this said by people who seem to know what they're talking about).  The fact that it is SP2 means that you won't have to uninstall all the Service packs that is even better.  I REALLY hope it works for you.  Make sure you use the UPGRADE option or you're going to do a clean install.  If the upgrade option is grayed out, it means that it will not work (but I don't think that this will be the case).

  If the drive works (and after installing all updates), then there should be nothing to fix on your system - it should work like new.  You should be able to do your backup with no error message.  Have no other problems.  This will fix the problem with TrustedInstaller so.  I feel confident thiis will work.

  I mentioned that Acronis because first of all, it's the best backup software and secondly because there could be a workaround, because it does seem like there was another solution because you do not want to delete this special software (but now that you have the disc - which is debatable – although it is still the best software {even though) ({, as you say, it's not free}).

  I hope this helps and wish you all the best in your effort to make the repair/improvement of the system.  I hope it works.  Remember that you must use your own product key to activate the software if necessary.  If it does not automatically have to activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain that you had a problem and you need to reinstall the OS but it's the same PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

  Found the problem...
  the name of the short application created in the new short version is different from the old version and the host box is also different.
  for this reason, the old hostname, and the former name of the application were present in the exported xml information, site so I replaced that information with the information manually, is the former name of host with the new hostname and name of the application with the new name of the application in the exported XML site.   This is my first post here and I hope you can help me... I'm not a beginner, but I'm stuck here and spent hours looking for advice, but nothing helped.

  First of all my configuration:

  New HP Proliant DL 380 G6 Xeon 5520, 16 GB RAM, 4 x 146 GB HARD drive

  VMware ESXi 4.0 (current version) installed via CD

  HP Windows 2008 R2 Standard, 64-bit (version OEM/ROK)

  My goal: Configuration to the top of a new Win2008 R2 domain controller, adding to the current domain, migrate existing physical W2003 Server server roles to the new virtual W2008 server.

  First of all, I had the problem that the OEM of Windows Server 2008 version does not recognize the HP host, the Installation was interrupted with (no valid HP hardware).

  I managed this by adding: SMBIOS.reflect = true to the comments properties.

  Installation was successful. Then I added the server to the domain, installed all windows updates and check the configuration.

  Next step was the promotion of the server to a domain controller.

  I have used adprep to promote the forest and domaincontrollers. Current state of the forest and the domain is Windows 2003.

  I ran dcpromo providing the credentials of the domain administrator. The wizard has finished, but the process is abandoned to the step:

  Trying to make online shopping, supermarket Web site told me:
  "Sorry, there is an error" - and then froze.
  I then tried the competition (Edge);   everyting was okey-dokey, until I typed in: beans to the...
  Right below that appeared (different fonts)
  Hugues Aufray (Live at Knebworth) Rockin ' all over the world...
  In this case a number that I play on YouTube every day, and the fact that I posted a comment under this video may have something to do with it... (?)
  Right below that a message I posted earlier (I don't even know where) and it really me freaked out.
  I said goodbye on board and went back to Firefox.
  This time Firefox showed me a blank page with just one line:
  "Server has encountered an internal error that prevents to satisfy this demand."
  Of course I called supermarket customer, services first of all: there were no defects.
  I did a reset: nothing helped.
  Deleted all cookies: well I didn't.

  Now, I think to do a command prompt: ipgconfig/flushdns.
  But given that spoil things seems to be what I do best, I am a bit reluctant and fearful;   Where my question:
  Should I go ahead and do it or is it a bad idea?

  Now, I know the command ipgconfig/flusdns line did the trick.

• Internal error to advise

  Hi all

  We use 5 APEX and are facing an "internal error" when we try to sart, our Advisor for 1 or more page (s).

  This problem seems to occur the moment where Patch 5.0 .1 has been installed.

  Steps to follow:

  Log-in to our workspace

  -Click on "Builder Application.

  -Select the application followed by "utilities".

  -Go to 'advise '.

  -Fill in the number of page (s)

  -Start check

  = > 'Internal error' is triggered.

  News Server/DB:

  OS: IBM AIX 7.1 64-bit Power

  DB: database Oracle 12 c Enterprise Edition Release 12.1.0.2.0 - 64 bit Production

  If anyone has found a solution for this, I would be happy to hear it.

  Hi Kim,

  I was able to track down what is causing the error. Your last page with # 9999999999999 (report 1) causes an error of digital overflow in the package advising internal. After deleting the page Advisor works very well. It looks that we treat this huge page # very well. I will file a bug for this.
