  Hello

  I use the ATA SPA232D to accept incoming PSTN calls, the call asterisk, which then forwards the call to FXS (line 1). Incoming calls are connected and voice work in both directions. But the phone on line 1 does not show the caller ID.

  Some things I've tried:

  • When I increase the 'PSTN response time' (5) so that 'PSTN delay ringing Thru' (1) is smaller: on an incoming call, the phone rings and shows the caller ID
  • When I transfer a call from asterisk for a softphone, caller ID is visible.
  • When I transfer the incoming call of the asterisk on line 1, caller ID is NOT visible. However, I can see the caller ID in the newspapers of debugging Asterisk.
  • When I call it from a phone software directly via the asterisk on the phone on line 1, (name and number) caller id are visible.
  • I have enabled Syslog/Debuglog (Debug level 3 + router) and I see that the caller ID is recognized correctly.
  • I've upgraded to the latest firmware 1.4.0 (001_281), no difference.
  • I tried to reset the settings and all reconfigured.

  My ideas, please help.

  Attached is the log of an incoming call to FXO-> Asterisk debugging-> FXS (without hook): I replaced the correct caller with xxxx identification.

  IP-address in the Log:

   192.168.0.10 = ATA

   192.168.0.14 = Asterisk

  We can divide the question in three parts.

  1. LTD must be correctly received from the PSTN.
  2. It must properly pass thru asterisk then.
  3. Finally, it must be delivered to the phone via FXS.

  According to the newspaper that you have provided, LTD is received RTC without problem:

   Caller ID: -- Remote Number = 079xxxxxxx

  Although you have not provided any SIP packets, I guess what's going through the asterisk as well. And open a session request is made to FXS thus:

  Unfortunately, there are so many protocol used for CID tuck by FXS. It seems that you have selected Bell 202/FSK.

  It may or may not be recognized by your telephone Protocol. You must configure the method of transmission of the CID to be compatible with the phone. See phone documentation for a list of supported protocols CID or call the technical support of the seller.

  I just downloaded and installed the video editing software, Blackmagic Design "DaVinci Resolve". The first launch this program popped up a warning that my graphics card is unable to be aware of the program.

  ERROR:  NO SIGNAL on monitor and can not reset the BIOS to accept the new video card in the PCI slot

  PROBLEM: The user reports the monitor suddenly became white with blue lines finally erased.   On start-up, the screen shows "No Signal" then turns off.

  Troubleshooting has included:

  Fixing monitor with its cable to another PC - monitor work

  Fixing working monitor and cable to the PC - No Signal

  There is no boot beeps, fans, lamps, not work cable defeated, no video.   I concluded the embedded video component failed.

  Installed the new video PCI - ex card and new power supply 480w and still get NO SIGNAL.   New video card specifications called for a minimum 350w power supply.  The fan on the new video card PCI - ex works.  Search on the HP Support pages indicates that the BIOS should be modified to change the type of PCI slot type in-flight video.  Makes perfect sense to me, sounds like it might work.

  How to reset the BIOS when you do not see what you are doing?

  I have moved the jumpers to reset the CMOS, but cannot tell if it worked or not.  I tried a couple blind BIOS resets, but I could do this for months.

  If I could determine the Version of the BIOS, I might be able to blindly to reset the BIOS.  The Compaq Options of Menu and "BIOS Setup Utility information" web page provides instructions for BIOS version 6 or less and version 7 and greater - menus and access steps are very different.

  QUESTIONS:   How to determine the version of the BIOS.  Which key I hit to access the BIOS (F1, F10, esc, Del)?  Which menu I followed to reset the type of video, so how can I save and exit?

  Also, can you make an indicator of the output of the ncReadNetMult?

• Impossible to replace the video card - Pavilion Elite Pro 410 t

  I have a HP Pavilion Elite Pro 410t with an ATI Radeon to 2 GB video card (I think a 5770 or 5570). I'll call this map.

  About 2 weeks ago it started making a noise annoying (sounded like a fan problem).

  I have a spare, older, working NVidia card fanless (calling card B) and I swapped it in using the method indicated in the guide of the user/service.

  When I turn on the Pavilion, it gives 3 beeps and there is no display, so I think that it does not recognize the video card.

  I put the card back in and it works fine, except that the fan sounds bad and I'm not confident, it will last much longer.

  I put the B card in another PC (home built) and it works fine.

  I tried card B in the Pavilion, making sure it was well set and I get always three beeps.

  I even went in the Pavilion BIOS settings to see if there was an option. There is no setting to choose the video card, but there only PCI-E option. Since I'm still just on the PCI-E slot, I left it alone.

  So I have a work card (B), but it won't work in the Pavilion for a reason any. Has anyone seen this?

  If it's a compatibility issue, is there a specific list of cards that works with my system? Do I have to buy the replacement of HP only? HP offers even replacements of video card for sale?

  I'm about to get a 5 d Mark III and am looking for a recommendation on the memory cards. I remember reading that the Mark III wrote to the slower speed of 2 cards.  Is this correct?

  The CF card slot is a slot of UDMA7 (it is very fast).  But the extremely fast technology for SD cards is called UHS1 and the SD card on a 5 d III is not a location of UHS1.

  The standard of UHS1 was very new to roughly the time that the 5 d III is released, so depending on when all the engineering on this body has been finalized (well before it goes into mass production) if the standard of UHS1 was not far enough along, we understand why the 5 d III didn't.  Each Canon EOS camera that came out since (which uses SD cards) using UHS1 technology.

  But this isn't the weird bit.  The weird bit is, several photographers say have tested this (I didn't) and demand, is that even if you configure the 5 d III to write exclusively in the slot for CF card and ignore the SD slot, simply having an SD card inserted into this cause slow write speed (it slows down at a speed "as if" he wrote in the DD even if he is ignorant of the SD card.)  I can only imagine that they are both connected to the same "bus" IO and Canon slows the bus for the lowest common denominator, if the SD card is present.

  These photographers argue that if you're shooting fast action photography, eject the SD card and only use a CF UDMA7 card - and your writing will finish faster so your camera erases the fast internal buffer and is therefore ready to fire executives earlier.

  I have not checked myself and have not read all the articles that display specific data (how many continuous burst for RAW images I can shoot with just a CF card, vs a CF and SD card times in camera before the buffer fills and the framerate slows down.?)

  (1) max SD card capacity: SD card readers can usually only read SD card that are up to 2 GB.  After this limit of 2 GB SD cards are usually SDHC up to 32 GB.  After this capacity of 32 GB SD cards are called SDXC.

  You can enter the phone number for your MOM in your address book using the full string of numbers, use the point where you need a break (you will need to experiment a bit with commas how) may be implemented as an additional phone number of on its input.

• BlackBerry Smartphones device address book phone contacts not showing on incoming calls on new 8900

  I just got a 8900 last week which has the latest version of the software on it (V.6.1.114). I transferred some of my old numbers to my SIM card from my camera, but not all - I also entered another 100 or manually directly on the device (long story).

  Now, when I get a call from a number on the SIM card, the call will display the name of the person. However, when I receive a call from a number not in the sim card but is stored memory of the native device, the call does not display the name of the person - instead, it displays the number as if it were an unknown number. However, once the call is completed, call logs show the name of the person.

  Thus, the BBERRY is not the number in the device address book when calls are coming in - it refers only to the SIM card. How can I fix it so that the contacts on the memory of the device also upward when the phone rings? Everyone knows about this problem?

  I called Tmobile tech support in the United States and they couldn't help me except to say that it was a bug and suggest to put my name on the map or by doing a hard reset...

• No sound from speakers after updating sound card driver

  I recently had problems with my Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 (vista 32-bit windows operating system). I couldn't get a USB microphone to work and I decided to update the sound card driver. I downloaded and updated what I thought, it was the right driver (sigmatel high definition audio codec) and since there is no sound from speakers. I followed the guide from Dell troubleshooting and disconnect any external devices and then click right click the mixer volume in the system tray, and then clicked on "open volume Mixer" and I get the message: no audio device installed. I went to the control panel to check the sound card driver and he told me that the codec sigmatel high definition audio works well and he has not updated. I unfortunately can't restore the system that system restore installation in my computer stopped working awhile (even when I start windows in safe mode) so I'm stuck. I think that I have installed the wrong driver for the sound card but don't find it not easy to understand which driver to search the dell support center. It seems that the audio card is called something like "HDAUDIO\func01_ & FRI etc. looks Chinese to me. Could someone help? I would be very grateful

  GRIP a few mp3s from my computer and put it on my sd card but the real player on my phone will not read them. It said dl playable songs, real player on my computer plays them.   Create a new folder in the root directory of the card and call / audio.  Put the .mp3 in there and try to play them!

  When you buy a new SD card, it is best to let your Palm device to format it for you.  It will automatically create all the necessary files!   The format command is in the application 'Info card.  The dropdown menu, choose "format the card.  It should also have a record of /DCIM. for photos and videos.

  Is BTW, what size and type of card?  The 650 can only use up to 2gig from regular SD, not a card SD HC card...

  Im running VMWare Workstation 6.5.3 build 185404. My host is Windows 7 x 86. I have 2 VM, lets call them VM1 and VM2. Both are running Windows XP x 86. I also have 2 wireless network cards, lets call them wNIC1 and wNIC2. I wish that each VM to have its own individual wNIC in order to connect to different networks and isolate traffic within their own virtual machine.

  With the help of the virtual network Editor, under the virtual network mapping host, I updated VMnet2 VMnet4 and wNIC1 to wNIC2. These two wNIC is connected to different wireless connections, I have access to the internet. The host takes an IP address for each Wi - Fi connection. I put VM1 use VMnet2 and VM2 to use VMnet4. With me so far? Good!

  If I start VM1, he pulls an IP and I have access to the internet. However, if I start VM2 (while VM1 is running), it shoots one IP address, but I don't have access to the internet. Similarly, if I start first VM2, I get an IP and internet access, but if I start VM1 after, I get an IP address, but no internet access.
