MP3s of sd card

GRIP a few mp3s from my computer and put it on my sd card but the real player on my phone will not read them. It said dl playable songs, real player on my computer plays them. How can I get the to wrk on my phone? When I put my card into the phone, nothing shows up, I can't even photos? help im going nuts trying to look this phone...

Create a new folder in the root directory of the card and call / audio.  Put the .mp3 in there and try to play them!

When you buy a new SD card, it is best to let your Palm device to format it for you.  It will automatically create all the necessary files!   The format command is in the application 'Info card.  The dropdown menu, choose "format the card.  It should also have a record of /DCIM. for photos and videos.

Is BTW, what size and type of card?  The 650 can only use up to 2gig from regular SD, not a card SD HC card...

How to convert Audio tracks from a CD in MP3 Format sound card please?

A lot of programs that you could use to play music on your computer is capable of it, including Windows Media Player, which is integrated into Windows 7.

The process is known as "ripping."  http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/rip-music-from-CD#rip-music-from-CD=Windows-7

This topic is also available in the "help" menu in Windows Media Player.

If you use iTunes, this program can also convert audio tracks to mp3.

  • Limitation of music download - Zire 31 expansion card

I use a Zire 31 and connection USB Dell MusicMatch to try to download MP3s on my card for the expansion of 1 GB and several problems.  Help on one of them would be much appreciated.

I got about 300 MB on the card, but it does not load the songs more. I tried to use Add files, synchronization, drag-and-drop/HotSync, even Windows to put new music on the map and none of it works.  I tried it with a direct link and also using a card reader.  (The only other file on the map is for Palm Launcher, whose properties are displayed as having no content.)

Also, when I try to use RealOne, I get an "unsupported media type" for MP3 files, when I try to download songs and when I try to transfer MP3s with MusicMatch.  But when I use the file type of RA, the Zire does not display these songs.

Finally, even when I have the player on Random he plays the same songs of 15 or more rotating.  If I hear anything else, I need to select in the list of songs.

I did not take anything else in the manuals, online, or in the community forums.  Someone at - it experience or ideas?

The lock switch is on the map?  (The little white toggle on the side).

    The card is full?

You place the mp3 in the folder / audio on the map?

  • Insert quickly slides of several files

I have been using PowerPoint for many years, but now I want to change my speech.  On PowerPoint, there is a feature where I can "insert slides from file".  I have often used this function to insert the files (database of song lyrics) quickly to form a unique presentation with special songs, I need on a given day.

I would like to know if there is a similar feature on Keynote, or if there is another way I can insert quickly from the files of a database to compile a unique presentation.

It would be much too tedious open individual database files, select all of the slides, drag them into the new format, and then close each file database.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

If there is another way I can insert quickly from the files of a database to compile a unique presentation.

Only databases Keynote can access media import files are iTunes and PHOTOS.

Insert quickly slides of several files

Keynote can directly move the media to a folder if they are graphic compatible QuickTime video and audio.  Drag and drop pictures on the Panel of the browser, it is located on the left side of the slide canvas.

    We can quote:

    video; MPEG4 H264

    audio; AIFF mp3

graphics card; TIFF JPEG PNG PCT

  • Quality of music file

Hello, new to this, what quality should I I rip my music to my sansa clip?  I understand the lower quality will allow me to put more on the clip, but is there really any difference in quality on the video sould?

    Swampy thanks

I assume you mean music on a CD, you can choose what bitrate to make the files so. If the files are already in a compressed as mp3 format, then leave them as what. First of all, the battery more long playback of mp3 files, Clip + becomes if the battery life is very important to you, then choose mp3. Memory cards are cheap now, so it makes sense to get a card with a large capacity to put in your player, if you want a lot of music available in high quality sound. To get a good sound of the Clip +, it is important to obtain high-quality or headphones headphones. These need not be very expensive, but must be carefully selected. Even the headphones $ 20 will give a great sound, while some $100 + those horrible.

As for what bitrate to use, I suggest you use variable bitrate mp3 192 kbps on average. This will give you a quality sound around the 256 kbps constant bitrate, but allow to store more music 1/3 in the same space. At 192 Kbps, you get 13.5 hours per GB, which is about 200 songs of four minutes. 256 Kbps, you get about 9 hours per GB, which is 135 minutes four songs, and at 128 Kbps, you get about 18 hours of music per GB or around 270 minutes four songs. You could try to do your own experimentation however and decide if you can hear the difference with different bitrates. Years ago I did some tests and found that for me, 128 kbps constant bitrate was not acceptable, 192 kbps constant bitrate sounded good, but like it was missing something, 256 kbps constant bitrate sounded good, and I couldn't hear the difference between constant bitrate 320 kbps and 256 kbps constant bitrate. So I chose 256 kbps constant bitrate. Players years ago had problems with a variable bitrate, so I avoided. Today most of the players have far fewer problems in the past with a bitrate variable, variable bitrate so is now is a good option. I'm too lazy to rerip all my CDs. If I was starting from scratch now well, I would choose mp3 variable bitrate with an average of about 192 Kbps.

Follow these steps to transfer music from computer to memory card files
    (a) once you have the memory card in the adapter, connect the adapter to your computer
    (b) go to my computer, open the removable disk, click inside
    (c) open the folder music trying to copy and paste into the removable disk. If it doesn't work, then try to drag the file you want a folder to another.
  • Cannot find files on sd card mp3

    said to post this here...

Hi I have an e280 v1 and love, have had very few probs with it.

I just put audio books on the sd card and it's not finding them. I have others there and is finding those so he found the card. I checked and they have the ex .mp3 file, so I don't see why. Gender was a little screwed up, but I fixed that.

Any other ideas why do not find them?

What is the USB Mode (under settings) on the Sansa?

It's Auto Detect, he goes to MTP mode if it finds any Windows Media Player 10 or 11, mode MSC (plain USB) if it isn't. XP has WMP 9 so that the files can have exceeded by MSC. Vista has 10 or 11, so it's move to PSG. The Sansa should see all of the files anyway, but maybe it's not.

In any case, go to the MSC, no automatic detection. Then, Vista should see both drives. Then try to send the books even more.

  • MP3s that I transfer to microsd card get renamed to letters JAP!

    Hey all the...

Not sure if this has been considered at all, but if someone knows how to solve this problem, I can't tell you how much Id greatly appreciate it!

I have a Sansa e280 8 GB player, with an additional 8 GB microsd card installed. Ive had for a few months now, and it is a v2 and fully update firmware. So far, I only used the microsd storage for my videos and my pictures (who all play perfectly). After having started to flow along the space on my drive (less than 200 MB), I thought that its time to start to put music on the card as well.

I xfer had a bunch of mp3s, but when the player refreshes and I go, nothing is transferred correctly. Almost all tracks appear as "Unknown" and each of them get renamed to Japanese/Chinese/that it's character. I thought WTF?

I tried several times, and it always happens. This was never the case when the real player music. I use MTP mode and its always been very well, it happens that by putting MP3s on the microsd card. But as said, the video and photos put on it still play perfectly.

For the love of God, anyone may know why this happens and how to stop it?

    Thank you in advance!

    ~~**~~

Well, I'm happy to report that the problem, thanks entirely to Mp3Tag, apparently has been resolved!

Previously, I had been using Winamp to listen to and tag my mp3. I tried Mp3tag and removed the tags id3v1 and renamed using the iso id3v2.3 tags. When transferred to my microsd card, they now appear correctly! Assumed that you were right and that it was a question of label, even if I must say using my method of Winamp, they always correctly transferred to the real player and never came all poorly labeled like that.

I use a 8 GB Sandisk card if that makes a difference at all... Im just happy that I can now use capacity memory microsd card for anything other than photos/videos. Thank you for recommending this program!

  • Why Windows Media Player Dump existing MP3s when I add new to SD memory card?

Why Windows Media Player Dump existing MP3s when I add new to SD memory card?

Is there a setting I'm missing or something I forgot?

All that I could find for now is the following. I'll try to get WMP to give me the new option.

Connect the player to the computer (if you get a menu of Autostart just close it), open WMP and then go to the Sync tab, click on the small arrow below, then down the list to your rocket, a fly out menu will pop to the top and in this menu, you will descend to configure synchronization and will open a window called Device Setup , In the upper left corner, there is a checkbox indicating automatically synchronize this device, make sure it is not checked. If you get a menu when you plug it in, having options that wants to know if you want to allow yourself music, or delete it and make room for new files, make sure you click on the music of leave on my device option. You must be sure of automatic synchronization is disabled and that WMp is not deleting you music so you can add others.

  • Get a "0x80071ac3" error while trying to delete the .mp3 on Micro SD card 64 GB.

    * Original title: error '0x80071ac3' in Windows 8

I have a micro sd 64 GB card but every time I tried to put some .mp3 files or even delete what is already on the card I thought it's dirty, I tried to format it still didn't work, I tried to remove it from the cmd prompt also did not work what I do now please with an explanation of the steps to follow.

Thank you very much I understand your concern.

    Hi Mr.Als,

-Did you check if the SD card works fine on another computer?

This problem may occur if the card is damaged. I suggest you run the check disk utility and see if that fixes the problem.

Run audit on the SD disk utility.

    1. In the start screen, type: CMD, right click command prompt, and then click run as administrator.
    2. At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /r
    3. Exit the command prompt.

Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

You can also try to unlock the switch and see if it helps.

Look for the lock switch on the upper left side of the SD card. Lock switch may be a small white or silver tab jutting from the left side of the SD card.

Keep us updated on the status of the issue.

  • MP3s from Mac to the SD card to TungstenE2

Using 1 GB standard SD card for mp3s work initially by downloading Mac OS 10.5 via card reader. When I want to edit the files on the card I try to erase using disk utility or the Finder and recharge new mp3s, E2 said that device does not recognize this card. I tried to erase completely and reseat the card, with a new folder AUDIO & mp3. But it's always the same. Disk utility gives me the choice of the format MS-DOS (FAT) or OS extended volume. I tried them both. How can I configure SD card so that E2 is it? Any help?

Why not format it in the E2 itself!

  • MP3 / SD card

This will probably be the stupidest question ever but I bought an SD card and put it intil my centro (Verizon) I can not all the songs I download through palm desktop to appear anywhere. I don't know where he's going and minitones does not see it. I guess now I have to go buy a drive from sd card to my computer... It's so confusing. I hope someone can help and sorry for my computer illiteracy ^^

Have you tried to synchronize the songs using Windows Media Player?  My Centro works fine as well.

Start PTunes on your Centro, then launch Windows Media Player on your PC.  Now connect your phone using the Hotsync cable.  Windows Media Player should recognize your phone, and will allow you to synchronize your entire library, or just the songs you want to drag and drop the window to the right of the screen.

That said, I suppose that you have mp3 without DRM on your computer (no copy protection), and they are not in iTunes...

You do not have to buy a card reader, but it sure makes life a lot easier.   I see them all the time on sale for less than $10 USD.
