On LOV ValueChange event inside the af: table to get the data of the selected row

Hello

I LOV on one of the columns inside the af | table. I use createwithparams to create a new row in the table. Then I use the LOV to get the value of the column LOV. Then I need to set some additional attributes on the new line in the value change listener. I get null for all attributes with the following code in the valuechangelistener. If I select a new value by using the LOV, I get the previous values of the attributes. Y at - it an easy way to get all the attribute values for the line.

I use a unique selection on the table. valueChangeEvent.getNewValue gives the value of the LOV column only.

  • How to get the selected row in a programmatic table of the ADF (table generated from a bean)

    Hi all

    We use JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 12.1.3.0.0 and deployed on GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1.2.2 (build 5) and connect to the SQLServer database.

    How to get the selected line in a programmatic (using a SortableModel custom not a display object) ADF table (generated from a bean)?

    We are trying to get the selected row in a bean of a programmatic ADF table to retrieve data based on the selected line.

    Any idea?

    Well, you can use selectionListener to set the selected line to a variable of bean (but this bean must be in extended view or some superiors)

  • Get the selected row of grid

    Thank you

    Hello

    You have a table in your page that is based on a viewObject iterator and you must get the selected line in your bean to support when you click on a button.
    Did I get that right?

    If yes then you must add an actionListener on this button that executes a method in bean support.

    the code for the button:

    In this method, you add the code like this:

      public void buttonActionListener(ActionEvent actionEvent) {
        BindingContext bindingctx=BindingContext.getCurrent();
        DCBindingContainer bindings=(DCBindingContainer)bindingctx;
        DCIteratorBinding iter= bindings.findIteratorBinding("iteratorName");
        Row currentRow=iter.getCurrentRow();
      }

    If this isn't what you need to give more details.

  • Event inside the loop 'for' confusion

    Hi all

    I have an event inside a N = 2 for the loop, which generates an array of 2 elements (auto-index mode). The first value is a first event, the second of the second round. The events are the mouse clicks on a front panel with many buttons control.

    Am I able to access the i counter inside the front loop of 2 elements output table? He does not appear.

    Maybe I want just 2 events in the order I should put two copies of this event in a sequence of 2 image... but it creates the need to set up the event twice... a concern, because it contains many possible sources.

    Ive tried everything in loops, by the way I like a local variable, tunnels, shift... registers but I don't seem to be able to access I have during the loop.

    Can anyone suggest a method or a better structure/approach for this issue.

    In any case, it seems that the program is blocked waiting for the second round, so I can't do anything with the value anyway?

    I want to take action after the first test and before that I'm waiting for the second event.

    Thank you

    Carloman

    OK, you're much too complicated things dong.

    • Use a unique event for all low Boolean mice, then use the ctrlref of output event to detect only one. For Boolean values, you can use an array of Boolean instead of all these individual buttons.
    • Don't do the "table of cluster... unbundle" songs and dances. It's just ridiculous! 'array Index' is sufficient.
    • You need an event for the stop button.
    • The structure of your outdoor sequence has no purpose.
    • The coloring is registered with VI, no need to recolor with each race.
    • Do not reproduce any of this code. Your internal matter differs only in a constant of the diagram, it's everything that belongs inside the case. The "subset of table to replace" belongs to the outside.
    • Now, simply do the processing in a new event and ignore if the State isn't fair. Modify if needed.
  • Popup event on the selection of rows in table tree

    I use jdev 11.1.1.7

    I followed below page to pass parameters between the regions. It works fine if I use a button to trigger the event & pass the id of selected in a table of the tree line.

    Tech Blog of Rohan Walia: events background - Basic step by step: ADF

    I wanted to avoid button, I'm trying to pass data directly on the selection of rows in the tree.

    " < events xmlns =" http://xmlns.Oracle.com/ADFM/contextualEvent "> "

    " < events xmlns =" http://xmlns.Oracle.com/ADFM/contextualEvent "> "

    < name of event = 'FireEvent '.

    customPayLoad="#{pageFlowScope.ManageOrgsBean.selectedID}"/ >

    < / events >

    I get a NPE in the 3rd line below:

    {} public void onTreeNodeSelect (SelectionEvent selectionEvent)

    BindingContainer DCBindingContainer = ADFUtils.getDCBindingContainer ();

    JUEventBinding eventBinding = (JUEventBinding) bindingContainer.get ("FireEvent");

    SelectionListener selectionListener (SelectionListener) = eventBinding.getListener (); NPE

    selectionListener.processSelection (selectionEvent);

    }

    Any idea? Thank you.

    Try with:

    JUEventBinding eventBinding = (JUEventBinding) bindingContainer.get ('eventBinding');

  • Select the event inside the nested symbol does not

    It's actually based on a previous thread located here: http://forums.Adobe.com/message/5596353#5596353

    I thought about adding to this thread, but in many ways it deserves it's own separate discussion.

    I used the Zaxist examples and AMULI put in place successful. On a navigation bar located directly in the root.

    Now, the question is the same thing with a menu that is nested inside a symbol.

    In my example, I have a button that when you click on anime a symbol of navigation bar down. This works. Also, the LINK button retains its background color set to black until the user clicks another button in the main navigation bar. OK, he has no other button in this example. So just pretend and believe me, it works.

    Now in the nested clip, there is a similar function I Illustrazione in the compositionReady. Then I added my actions to each of the four buttons inside the symbol navlink nested. The rollover/rollover effects work well. But the click event shows an error. It is basically the same click event in the navigation bar on the root, which does not have an error.

    My code inside the compositionReady is;

    Reset the State of each button

    buttons = {}

    Reset: function() {}

    sym.getSymbol("btnLink").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    }

    }

    which button?  Zero means no!

    We set this variable to get know e what button

    WB = 0;

    Reset each State buttons Sub

    buttonsub = {}

    Reset: function() {}

    sym.getSymbol("btnCommunication").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    sym.getSymbol("btnIndividuality").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    sym.getSymbol("btnCreativity").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    sym.getSymbol("btnInclusivity").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    }

    }

    which button?  Zero means no!

    We set this variable to get know e what sub button

    SB = 0;

    I would like to only it where there are two functions. One for all main buttons and the other for all the buttons of the child. This way I can have two buttons stuck to the hover effect when you click them in order. If all goes well, that makes some sense.

    Here is my event click in the button "btnIndividuality" inside the symbol navLink nested:

    buttonsub. Reset();

    sym.getSymbol("btnIndividuality").$("back").css ({opacity: 1})

    SB = 1;

    The other three buttons are basically the same.

    So I tried a number of ideas. Especially goes directly from the stage and drilling down into JQuery. Nope.

    So the Firebug error is 'Javascript error in the event handler. Type of event = 162 item line ' we of edge.2.0.0.min.js. It's this line:

    function (a) {if (a) {if(!this.aSymbolInstances) this.aSymbolInstances = []; this.aSymbolInstances.push (a.getSymbolElement ())}}; Y = Function (a, b, c) {function f (c, b) {if (b.length > = 2 & & typeof b [0] = 'object' & & typeof b [1] = 'object' & & b [1] .Guy! == "onError") {var e; e = d.Event ("onError"); if (g) e.compId = g.getComposition () .compId; e.originalEvent = b [1]; d (doc indicator) .triggerHandler (e)} window.console.log ("Javascript error in the event handler.}} Type of event = "(+a)} var e = this [b [0]], g;" = If (typeof e = "function") if (b.slice (1), a = 'element') return function() {var;

    Why would I get this here and not on the root? What is the correct path to make it all work? If close, but not home right now.

    Oops! Sorry, without my knowledge, that it was published before it is completed

    (3) thus, using Firebug, you get this when you trigger a click event

    In other words, sym.getSymbol ("btnCommunication"), the first statement in your buttonsub.reset function fails.

    In your mind, sym points to the instance of navLink, parent of the instance of btnCommunication.

    But the buttonsub.reset function is defined in the compositionReady event handler, so when it runs sym points until the symbol of the scene, which has no child symbol instance named btnCommunication. Where the bug.

    Therefore, the context of symbol should be past to the function as a parameter. Set it like this:

    buttonsub = {}

    reset function: ( symClick)

    {

    symClick.getSymbol("btnCommunication").$("back").css ({"opacity": "0"})

    And call it like this:

    buttonsub. Reset ( sym);

    In other words, the formal parameter symClick will receive as the effective setting, this actually sym sym pointing to the instance of navLink.

  • get the structure of the event inside the while loop to wait for event occurs before the execution

    Hello

    I have a small problem, when I raise an event using a value change button, which works very well.  The problem is that the VI does not wait for me raise an event and instead runs the same event again, even if I have not pressed the button to start again.  The mechanical action of the button switch is released is.

    I was wondering how you get the structure of the event to wait for a user event, after that he executed the first time.

    James.Morris wrote:

    There is no reason that the event should be raised twice as much that the only way that it fires in your code is by the user by clicking on 'Hall measure only'.

    Oh yes, there is, and I deserve a kudo for this one.  Mechanical action on the button is set on the switch until published, so click to generate an event, on the bottom and on the square, attached is an example.

    My boy has my students hate this question, and to be honest, I hated it.  When never would you do that intentionally?  Honestly?  Anyway to change the button back to normal (as default latch when released) and move the terminal button in the structure of the event where it is managed and it will work as usual.

  • Can't paint, "with brush" inside the selection after a STROKE.

    on an empty layer "layer 1", I've created an oval using selection tool elliptical that go to edit stroke. I caress with a black brush of 2 pixels. If I go back to the layer and ctrl-click, PS puts Mobile dotted around him that designate this option is selected. However, if I take a brush and try to paint inside I can't on the layer, "in or out of the selection", unless I have clear. Goes against everything I've learned so far on selections. Any help is appreciated.

    Try and get used to the use of many layers.  For example, the layers panel below shows that the top layer contains a Red Cross, but it is visible that where it overlaps the black circle because the layers are "clipped" together.

    To do this, place the cursor on the line between the layers and hold down the ALT (Opt) and click.  You will see the icon displayed below (I made larger than life for clarity) and the top layer will become indented with the tiny arrow facing downwards.

    You can also "clip" adjustment layers so that they affect only the layer that they are cut.  It is such a fundamental tool, there is an icon at the bottom of the Panel property of the adjustment layer (highlighted in red below.

    There are many ways of doing things with Photoshop.  For example, the same effect with the Red Cross and the black circle with the help of a layer mask.  CTRL click on the layer with this selection and black circle to load the selection in place, add an adjustment layer to the layer of the Red Cross.

    Perhaps the only thing more fundamental to the use of Photoshop that what precedes, control selections, but do not all learn in one day.

    I use the same method on the past on a different application on the same version of jdeveloper and it worked, I don't understand

    what I'm doing wrong here,

    Thanks for any help.

    I finally found the solution, since I do not use the property to a current line, I add programmatically:

    public static Object invokeEL (el String, class [] paramTypes, Object [] params) {}

    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    ELContext elContext = facesContext.getELContext ();

    ExpressionFactory expressionFactory = facesContext.getApplication () .getExpressionFactory ();

    MethodExpression exp = expressionFactory.createMethodExpression (elContext, el, Object.class, paramTypes);

    Return exp.invoke (elContext, params);

    }

    public static Object evaluateEL (String el) {}

    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    ELContext elContext = facesContext.getELContext ();

    ExpressionFactory expressionFactory = facesContext.getApplication () .getExpressionFactory ();

    ValueExpression exp = expressionFactory.createValueExpression (elContext, el, Object.class);

    Return exp.getValue (elContext);

    }

    {} public void rowSelected (SelectionEvent selectionEvent)

    invokeEL ("#{bindings.") MyVO.collectionModel.makeCurrent} «»

    new class [] {SelectionEvent.class},

    (New Object() {selectionEvent});

    Line = rw

    (Row), evaluateEL ("#{bindings.") MyVOIterator.currentRow}");

    rw.getAttribute("TheAttribueINeed").toString ()); etc...

    }

  • Get the name of the column in the Select row

    Hi guys,.

    I paint a picture in which there is commandlink in a line for each Column.When I click af:commadLink I want to get the name of the column on which commandLink is clicked.
    I tried to get currentRow Clicked from DCIteratorBinding but I want the column name or a column and index.

    Thank you
    Rahul

    Hello

    I added a tag of f: attribute for the command link, give it a name and provide the column name as value. In the ActionListener method, access you the link to actionEvent.getUIComponent (). Here call you getProperties or get attributes (one of the two exists) which returns a map. On the plan that you call get ("the f_attribute name") to get the column name

  • Turn off the ADF parasmo tab based on the selection of rows in table

    Hello

    We have page ADF, which consists of a table within a collection of panels, which in turn is inside a Panel tab that user can select several rows in this table. There is also a second tab that you want to activate only if the user has selected a single line in the table. This should be disabled if several lines are selected in the table. Please let me know how this can be accomplished. The selection of multiple rows in the table is a must for users.

    I use jDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0

    Thank you

    Hello

    1. set up the table for selection of rows multi
    2. If you initially created the unique selection table, delete the SelectionListener entry added by JDeveloper
    3. create a custom pointing to a managed bean selection listener
    4. in the selection listener, call getComponent on the selection event (http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/trinidad-api/apidocs/org/apache/myfaces/trinidad/event/SelectionEvent.html) and cast to richeTableau
    5. on rich table Manager, call getSelectedRowKeys (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28389_01/apirefs.1111/e10684/oracle/adf/view/rich/component/rich/data/RichTable.html)
    6. If there is more than one key of the selected row, set a property of a managed bean (for example showTab) false and PPR Panel tab
    7 use the property "off" from the showDetailItem (http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/docs/tagdoc/af_showDetailItem.html) to point to the property Boolean managed bean
