iMovie changes resolution up to 720

When I import pictures he changes the setting of the project 720 p

10 that the rsolution of a project is defined by the first clip in iMovie, put in the timeline.  The default seems to be 720 p.  To make sure you get 1080 p (or higher) put all known high resolution clip at the beginning of a new project, and then copy all of the current project and paste in the new.  You can then remove the first clip if you wish.

  • Quit iMovie, change the size of the video

    Hello

I'm preparing a review of Appstore App.

I use the reflector 2 SW to save some example scenarios of the APP and captures the movements in a mp4 file. Then I use iMovie 10.1 to y to add a melody.

The problem is: iMovie changes the video content with no intention of me either! Yes, it's true!

    The input mp4 file I use is: 1080 (w) x 1920 (h) and in portrait mode.

The output of the iMovie file is: 1920 (w) x 1080 (h) and my video application is confined within a thickness of blackborders...

How can I stop this from happening? I looked around for options for some time. There seems to be no cure, or is it?

    Thank you very much

    Tanner

iMovie works in format 16 x 9. When you add a clip that is the portrait mode and select Insert in the toolbar of harvest that you get the black bars you see. What you can try is to select the crop tool and rotate the clip 90 degrees, then made. Share your video and open it in Quicktime. Here, you can turn it back to portrait and save it. Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Change resolution without changing the size. I want the crisper, either of the images.

Hi, I would like to change the resolution for the images on my screen are clearer.  In the control panel settings, is currently correct for its size, but Blacks are grey, and text looks like it's under water.  He told me that he would work more pixels per inch. But as soon as I increased the resolution in the Control Panel, my office becomes bigger, clearer, not of crisper.  Crispy, that's what I do, not size.

    Hello

Changing resolution affects how much fits the screen; You cannot change this fact.

Access the site on your computer or the manufacturer of the graphics card > look for a driver download Section > search for your model number and operating system > get graphics / video / Chipset Drivers (depending on how it is formulated) > download and install.

    Change the screen resolution.

  • How can I change resolution from the office to a normal size

original title: How can I change this back?

everything seems bigger on my screen. even the background screen and icons. Magnifier is off and checked the dpi.

If for some resolution reason reset does not help, try to do a system restore.

If you remember a date where the image of the screen was a good size, use this date as your restore point.

  • Not only the size of the screen change resolution T42 display.

I use a T42 I just formatted (by hand, as IBM restore did not work, and no one responded to my other post) and now when I change the resolution on my screen it keeps the resolution the same, but actually just my screen smaller or larger.  For example: when I use the highest available resolution is actually on my full screen.  When I use say 800 x 600, my windows is reduced indeed to about 4 in. x 3 in. and I have about 40% of my monitor that is black.  I tried to access the bios by pressing the blue Access IBM button, but he did show me a startup list where I could choose what order he would start in.

    watusa,

You can enter the BIOS pressing F1 at startup instead of the Access IBM button. You need access to the Config > display menu and set HV active Expansion. Here is a link to the BIOS Simulator if you want to see beforehand.

    • You have problems with programs

    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Was this work very well at a time earlier - I hope that recently?  Was your monitor there ever a better than 60 Hz resolution? Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

Go to the Dell Support and enter your Service tag number.  Who should put up your system, including your monitor (assuming that your system is Dell - otherwise just check the make and model of the monitor) and get the latest device drivers available for this monitor and your version of Vista.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them through the Device Manager (start / Control Panel / Device Manager) as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html. or it may be a simple executable file - it depends what downloads.  Given that this is the view I'd do the same for your video card (that this either Dell or another manufacturer's).  Once you have installed these drivers, restart and go to Start / Control Panel / customization / display settings and see if you have more options for resolution and can get things the way you want them to be.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, post back with the results of the above options, and any other information you can give us on the devices and the problem. Let's see if we can come up with a few other options to try.

    Good luck!

  • Change resolution on ink advantage 2645

I want to change the print resolution on my ink advantage 2745 in the project. When I open the menu of the printer preferences, it tells me that the list of the possibilities of resolution is "for information purposes" and choose one of them won't print on my printer resolution.

So, how can I change the resolution on the project?

    Thank you.

    Hi Coripe,

In the media in the same screen, select plain paper, quick project...

This will change accordingly print quality.

  • Changing resolution freezes / crashes explorer.exe

Okay, I did my part of the research, and it seems I'm the only one with this problem.

On Win 7 (x 86 and x 64), my x200t with the screen touch older multipoint freezes when I change the resolution of the screen, either by connecting to a projector, or by rotating the screen.

Go to portrait mode will freeze explorer.exe for about 5 seconds, while that going back to the landscape will take 30 seconds, if not more.

I've lost count of how many times I reinstalled different versions of win 7, just to see what is happening, in vain, of course. I can't find driver. It is certainly not the graphics card. I tried those of intel, lenovo and Ms. whether things are getting worse, or there is no change.

This has been driving me crazy, but I just found the time to post this here. Does anyone else have this problem? Could this be a hardware problem? I think I might have to request some kind of replacement if I find no solution here.

Well, after spending a ridiculous amount of time (10 + hours in total, at least :/), I discovered that the problem was my office who had 200 + icons... obviously, turning and trying to adapt to all these icons would take forever.

I just did not notice because I always hide my icons. I guess I should have cleaned the office. Punished for being lazy, lulz

  • Changing resolution of 7 Media Center "will not stick.

I use Windows 7 Ultimate connected to a pioneer of 1018 (via HDMI) and then connected to a TV Samsung DLP's (also via HDMI).

Everything works; However, every time I start media center. Media Center change the resolution (1440 X 900, IIRC).  I then go in "TV settings" and reset the 1920 X 1080 resolution.  Then, all right; I can use 7MC without any problem.  When I leave 7MC, my office will look fine (also set at 1920 X 1080).  However, as soon as I restart 7MC, resolution (inside the library) is recovering at 1440 X 900.  It just doesn't "stick", no matter what I change the resolution to (within 7MC), it will not remain persistent between execution of the program.

The graphics card is an ATI 4850, running the latest Catalyst drivers.

    If I go to:

HKLM/SW/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version / Media Center / settings / display settings

I can see the resolution. I have change the resolution (inside the MC) and then exit the program. When I look in the key (see above), I see the change in resolution (that I just put in) and the correct settings.

When I then (after closing media library) reboot MC, the resolution changes (inside MC). I immediately see the change of this registry key as well. It's like, when I start Media Center, it goes in and changes automatically of this registry key?

I made a custom resolution (and tried another stock) in order to ensure; nothing seems to have no effect on her; as soon as I pulled out and re - open MC resolution is changed (from everything I put the last time I was there). Also, I tried "re - run the Installer" in Media Center without success. I am connected to the machine on an account with administrator privileges.

It's the BEGINNING of Media Center, that changes the resolution (and registry keys). MC output has no effect on the keys (they maintain the correct values).

    Hello

I spent the last month trying to solve this problem, and "youemailme" (another thread here) had the correct solution for me! And so Simple!

With me, what worked were 2 things:

    (1) perform the 'clean boot process' as advised by many to determine which granted software was causing the problem... and then.

    (2) right click on the name of the program (as discovered in above) 'problem' in the Start Menu > properties > compatibility.  For some reason, there is an option to "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution", which has been verified.  This program was in the startup folder and the cause of the problem.  Then unchecked the resolution box. No problem.

In my view, there are a large number of people dealing with this exact problem. I hope that this process of step 2 could solve their problems.

  • Save for web doesn't change resolution at 72 dpi

Hello, asked me to change my resolution at 72 dpi, and I would have thought that save for web would have done that, I'm surprised he remained at 300, and there is no field to change and make the change for a series of images. Because I don't have the time to learn the steps, what I have to do it manually in size image and how do I lock the height and width? TXS

    SuperMerlin wrote:

Try starting with a document of a higher PPI.

Yes, that's what I was doing - and looking closer it is really strange.

I got a file of 300 PPI and he traveled SFW with metadata defined at all. It opens as 72 in Photoshop is one thing, but the bridge shows as 72 facilities. If he really band resolution, this field in the bridge would be simply empty.

So SFW with metadata 'all' really does include ppi - but it changes without worrying about 72.

Which makes absolutely no sense and must be a bug.

  • Changing resolution video mi film?

    Hello

I filmed and mounted a friends wedding especially at 1920 x 1080, but the final parts of the day were filmed in 1280 x 720. A stupid mistake, I go now has. The footage was shot on a DSLR.

When you import images of 1280 x 720 in the sequence, that I was the change that is too small and there is a framework black all around him.

What is the best way to treat such footage works at the same size? Can I create a new sequence at 1280 x 720 and shrink the already published 1920 x 1080 clips in this?

Thanks if anyone can help, quite stuck on this.

What the small images looks like if you "scale to the size of the image" right click on a clip to find the option.
