On my recently installed Firefox, I can't access the information on a website (using the password and username), but I can't on my old IE
To avoid some of the problems related to the shutdown for Windows XP support, I recently installed Firefox, which works well. I have Internet Explorer on my computer, however. I am a patient in a facility with a line chart where you can go to get the results of tests, messages, etc. When I'm on Firefox and you try to access this table by entering my username and password, I am denied access and get a message that my session has expired. When I try the same with Internet Explorer, I prefer not to use, I get access. It seems to me that I should add Firefox to the system from my computer somehow (and remove IE) so that it works. Can someone tell me how, please?
P.S. Do not remove IE. Some parts of Windows and other programs may still need it from time to time. In addition, you can find some sites created using older Microsoft technologies who do not work in other browsers.

I recently installed Firefox 10 but it is not compatible with a client app, that I have to work. I need to get back to 9 Firefox. Where can I find to download?
I'm working on a laptop Packard Bell with XP.
Thank you.Hey wordsontime,
There are many benefits to the latest version of Firefox. You may want to consider the old version running on a USB key with PortableApps. This way you will always be able to run the latest version for your daily activities.
If you want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a glance section of the Knowledge Base install an older version of Firefox.
Hope this helps!

I have recently installed Windows 10 free update. Now I am unable to delete .pdf files and get the invalid error message "Function MS-DOS." It has never been a problem with the previous Windows 8.1. I contacted Microsoft technical support and they told me there is a problem with the .pdf application and I need to contact Adobe Acrobat. This can be corrected?
uninstall any version of acrobat is installed.
clean by Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs
Restart your computer.
delete all to delete pdf files.
If this fails, it is a problem of ms. If this attempt is successful, then reinstall your acrobat.

I have two youtube accounts, but Firefox has stopped reminding the password on one of them. Unfortunately I remember is no longer the password, like Firefox still remembered up to now. How can I access the password in Firefox, or is that not possible?
Try the menu Tools, Options and then on the Security tab.
Look for the "Passwords" section. From there, you should be able to see or manage stored passwords.

pictures page Firefox does not only show the text and links
New office (not this one) with windows 8.1 Pro, 29 of Firefox, Norton Internet security. When I go to a lot of these images of pages of Firefox are not displayed, only the text and links. This is true for the addons page of 'get '. I can search for Add-ons, but when I try to install one, the installation fails. Will there be a security setting in windows or NIS blocking facilities as well as images of Firefox? Installing Firefox went well without error. Other sites do not have this problem.
Another user has reported that this was due to a problem of time system. In particular, the date and time is correct, but day was set a day earlier. You can see that?

All IT gurus out there who know Firefox... have lost the passwords saved when FF created a new profile and delete old files key3.dbf and logins.json profile. Any ideas, anyone?
So it's not a logins.json file?
I see a signons3.txt file and a file signons.sqlite older, if you can try to see if you can import passwords stored in this file.
You can force Firefox to re-import the passwords in the file signons.sqlite and regenerate the file logins.json with the following steps:
- reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the topic: config page by default via the context menu
- Delete the logins.json file in the closed Firefox with Firefox profile folder
When you restart Firefox, then you should have the pref signon.importedFromSqlite with the value set to true.
You have passwords that are imported in the password manager, unless there were errors or signons.sqlite signons3.txt.You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue. You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)

When I open a link irc with a string name that contains "~" at the end, firefox (14.0.1) opens the same channel name but with "7%" instead of "~" at the end
http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/2856/clipboard05nq.jpgI can't open the image, but I can say something in general about the tilde.
The tilde "~" is an unreserved character and that's why it can be replaced by its form encoded percentage '% 7' inside a URI without changing the meaning. See
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/percent-encoding
According to article 2.3 of RFC3986 we should prefer the encrypted form so this behavior seems to be somewhat outdated. -
Firefox is unable to access the internet
Hello
Firefox is unable to access the Internet. Internet in the phone works, because all applications in my phone are able to access the Internet. I tried to access several different web pages. Their work. The screen is all black, no error messages appear. The strange thing is that Firefox Sync seems to be able to connect to the server, and I can download plugins.

How to save a password changed in Firefox? I rescued him, but then I changed the password and it doesn't give me an option to save the new password. Help, please. Thank you!
The Web site may use autocomplete = off to prevent Firefox to record the name and the password.
You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to register the name and the password of Firefox.
