  • HP Photo Creations: How to remove pictures of creations photo files without uninstalling

I need to delete some files in HP Photro Creations, I don't want to uninstall the program that I like to keep some files.

As I use it a little bit the files are large and I need to create a space on my hard drive - and no longer need these special files.

Can you please tell how to do this without uninstalling the program.

    Hi Nikelady.

HP Photo Creations uninstalling will not remove your saved projects. Currently, you must remove the records of individual project manually.

In our FAQ at www.rocketlife.com/site/pdf/faq.pdf (this FAQ is also available in the Help menu of the program):

How can I delete a saved project?

You must delete the project file from the directory where it was recorded. Once the project is removed from your computer, it can not be found. In general, the projects will be in your Documents folder. To find a project on your computer, try searching for the name of the project by using the Find command in Windows or on Mac Spotlight. Note: the project always appears in your panel of projects registered until you quit and restart the program.

You can also delete the unused photos of projects. (Often, you will load more photos that you end up using. The program retrieves photos in the project folder when you add them.)

How can I delete the pictures of my project?

    1. Click Add item , click pictures to open the Panel of the photo.
    2. Ensure that the Drag-n-Drop mode is selected.
    3. Point to the photo that is unwanted in the box of Photos not used; a blue triangle.
    4. Click the blue triangle, and select picture to remove from the project.

Tip: change become not permanent until you quit and restart the program. Be sure to save your project before you quit or you reboot.

We plan to add a button to delete the project in the next version of the software. Check the who's a new item in the Home menu for updates.

    Hope this helps,

  • HP Photosmart 5512: HP PHOTO CREATIONS will NOT INSTALL... GUARD CIRCLE SPINNING!

OH I'm upset! AFTER bragging about the HP product so... Now, I am very disappointed. I had some problems with my printer & software, so I uninstalled all use revo uninstaller to make sure to clean up all the remaining files. I reinstalled the software from my original disc. Yes, the printer works, but NO, I can't have my photo creations software want to work more

He has always worked in the past. I even completed this program cause software I really liked. I tried to implement everything. I uninstalled again and again... I downloaded the software from the HP website. I cleaned my temporary files, run analyses of virus, made sure my net framework has been updated and all the windows files.

I sent an email and told to call about it. I really don't understand why I have to call and why this issue is not posted somewhere with a solution because I know others have this problem too.

When I try to install it, it only goes to show that circle of spiral of spinning and spinning and nothing loads!

WHY doesn't it charge when I got it in the past. Nothing has changed. I have not installed anything new etc. No ONE has the answer without having to get on the phone to call me?

    Thank you

    UPDATE... UPDATE...

Whoo hoo... photo creations works NOW! I decided that I wanted to begin to take the material, usb etc. outside, so I decided to go ahead and CALL HP number sent me to support... but BEFORE I called, I did once again check my computer. I've also updated all my windows updates and there is much need. When I called the girl asked me if my UAC has been disabled or enabled and I knew instantly that it was because I remember to turn it off. She told me to reactivate it. I told her I do it, but I let her hang up so that she would not have to wait for the restart of the computer, etc.

Later, I tried to reinstall the program and was disappointed when I got this same circle of rotation... so I thought... "Darn it did not work. "Then I looked at my office and was so surprised to see the icon of the software. I clicked on it and voila... It worked!

Again, I'm a happy camper as I was before. Thank you for your offer and the entry also help good Dean... I don't know who has been too much all the good advice.

  • HP Photo Creations: Deleting Photo of HP Photo Creations

How is - a remove a photo from a project in HP Photo Creations?

You may be able to use some of the most fundamental tools in the printing software to accomplish what we need to manage the installation of the printer.  These tools do not provide the width of the control to manage the photo editing; You can control basic print options and print orders governing the printer.

This means that you can select the paper source, the size of the paper, the type of media (paper type), if the document is selected for the book (two-sided printing as if you put leaves in a book), simple single page, printing, photos lined up on a single sheet - a lot of simple things.

    =============================================================

You can take a look at the following: there are examples and additional links to other documents to provide more examples of how to use the Windows tools and printing software to print photos and documents.

Understand that your printer do not have the same exact settings; in some cases, your printer may be more relaxed and have a wider range of settings - in other areas, the examples could represent something that does not include your printer.

Print - five methods: Creations Photos, Windows, Word, Paint Photo Viewer, HP connected

    Other Options:

Depending on the type of camera you use, if you use a camera at all, consider that many manufacturers provide their own Photo editing software to the Web site of the camera.  It is worth checking!

  • How can I correctly save a project in Photo Creations?

I like the photo creations and have fun to make my own cards, calendars, and edition of prints.  When I finished a project I save in my pictures (Windows XP) folder.   However, when I open it, the photo is too small to allow an impression even a 4 X 6. All the icons I used are in the folder) same thing when I recorded it in the projects.  What I am doing wrong? Thank you.

    Hi jRhonda.

Thank you for asking. HP Photo Creations uses the small images in the project folder to display previews on the screen. To print a saved project, open it by clicking on the Open button in HP Photo Creations, and then click the tab order & printing.

You can think of the project as a large file folder. When you open within the program, HP Photo Creations will automatically load all the small pieces. There is no need to search in the folder.

    Hope this helps,

  • Windows Live Photo Gallery Codec Host and COM Surrogate stopped working. How do fix you this?

When I try to use Windows Live Photo Gallery, the program opens, but then I get 2 two errors as shown below:

(1), Windows Live Photo Gallery Codec Host has stopped working
A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.  Please close the program
    (2) COM Surrogate has stopped working
A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
One of the error messages suggested that I go to Windows Update to see if I could get a fix it.  I tried a few times, but no luck.
I am running Windows Vista SP2 (32 bit) on a Gateway GM5474 computer.  I loved this machine and problems have been almost non-existent.  I set it up as a dual boot with Ubuntu Linux (11.04) machine as my other OS.  I'm not an expert, but I don't think it would affect the operation of this program, isn't it?
I also wanted to mention that the creation of Windows DVD works as well, but I'll get some help on this and if I find anything, I'll go back to Microsoft Answers for help.
