Upgrade to Photo Creations of Image area

Hi all.  Okay, I'm a bit late here... I still have the old Center of HP Image Zone/Solution on my 'old' PC (Compaq Presario Windows XP). I want to upgrade to Photo Creations, but have a few questions:

(1) do I need to uninstall the program from the area of the Image of myself, or upgrade to Photo Creations it uninstall?

(2) HP has fixed the virus thing?

I did some research on the forum & FAQ for Photo Creations, but it is impossible to find an answer to my questions then post here in the hope someone will be able to help.

Thank you!!

Hi Liz.

Install away! They have separate programs and HP Photo Creations does not change the image on your computer settings. Our customer support team can help with installation and usage questions. You can contact them at [email protected].

  • HP Photo and imaging Gallery vs HP Photo Creations

Thank you for the messages in 2011, no wonder I don't think HP Photo and Imaging Gallery, I liked!  It was installed with my HP printer, but now that I have another laptop, the printer will not install this program, but has installed HP Photo Creations, they are certainly not the same thing... as of now, I don't like.  I'm happy for some of the tips.  I printed the pages.  Does anyone know of a program I can do also?

    Hello

Both programs come from third-party suppliers. From time to time the contracts/agreements between publishers to sellers will expire and according to the contract, a supplier can provide OLD version (s) for its customers. The latest version of HP Photo Creations has many improvements.

    Hope it makes sense.

  • I have just upgraded to Windows 7. We had all our photos in Windows Photo Gallery. Where are they? can we recover the Windows Photo Gallery?

I just installed Windows 7 and I can't find the pictures I had in Windows Photo Gallery.  Where are they?  Is there a way I can still use the Windows Photo Gallery?

Thanks for answer and sorry for not noticing that you have had so far.  Actually, I solved my problem by editing the registry and by associating file types .jpg and .jpeg image.  I think that the Viewer Windows Live Photo or other software that I installed messed up file associations and caused Media Center does not recognize files .jpg and .jpeg as an addition to the type library.

I changed the settings in the registry as follows:

    1. under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, navigate to the key named .jpeg
2 change the (default) string value so that the data field is "jpegfile" (without the "")
    3. Add a new string value named: 'Content Type' and together the data field "image/JPEG" (once again without the "")
    4. Add a new string value named: "Type perceived" and together the data in the field in 'image '.

Do the same steps above for the key under HHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT .jpg

I don't remember if I needed to restart the computer or not for the changes to take effect.  I solved this by trial and error because I remembered having to add the same entry in the Media Center in Vista type to get files .mp4 playing in the video library.

  • What is the difference between HP Photo Creations and Snapfish

    I've been curious.

What is the difference between HP Photo Creations and Snapfish?

Hi Jeff17866. The difference between these two services are the location, accessibility and share-ability of the recorded images. Snapfish is a photo on the web edition and sharing and belonged to printing HP service. You upload your images on the Snapfish site and share with other sites (Facebook, Flickr, etc) by selecting the appropriate options. The images are then stored on the cloud, and you will be able to access it from any device with Internet access. So, if you want to easily share your photos with your friends and family around the country, Snapfish is a great tool to do. HP Photo Creations is a photo editing software that you download to your desktop. You can edit your photos and order prints just as with Snapfish, but all pictures remain on your hard drive. They can be shared by downloading files on the sites you want the images appear, but you are not able to access it on other devices. -Chauntain

  • How to print on the back of a card in Photo Creations

I want to put photos/text on the back of a card in Photo Creations, how do I do this?

    Hello again, JaysMother.

Are cards ship-to-home, or do you print at home? To print at home, you could do a second card that has just the front and white image inside surfaces (use the flat white theme). Feed in the paper with new, upside down. Experience with plain paper first to make sure that everything is the tail as you wish.

  • Print HP Photo Creations

HP Photo Creations ' find store' option is useless. There don't seem to be participating institutions, anywhere. I tried several postcodes (just to test) to find one, and I came up with no results. Very disappointed, because it was one of the reasons for which I have downloaded the software. I can't even save a copy of the project without all the 3D graphics, just the actual image, print it on a photo kiosk. Consider me extremely frustrated.

    Hi CO.

US pickup store is currently available in approximately 200 Meijer stores in the midwest. Please let us know what stores would you like to see next.

To create a clear project, apply the black and white theme. (They are in the contemporary category). What project you want to print? You may be able to print at home or order for delivery at home.

Thanks for trying to HP Photo Creations,

  • How can I correctly save a project in Photo Creations?

I like the photo creations and have fun to make my own cards, calendars, and edition of prints.  When I finished a project I save in my pictures (Windows XP) folder.   However, when I open it, the photo is too small to allow an impression even a 4 X 6. All the icons I used are in the folder) same thing when I recorded it in the projects.  What I am doing wrong? Thank you.

    Hi jRhonda.

Thank you for asking. HP Photo Creations uses the small images in the project folder to display previews on the screen. To print a saved project, open it by clicking on the Open button in HP Photo Creations, and then click the tab order & printing.

You can think of the project as a large file folder. When you open within the program, HP Photo Creations will automatically load all the small pieces. There is no need to search in the folder.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Rocky.

Are you saying that you want to Remove your projects?

Until you do this, consider saving them to a flash drive or download them with the Share button. If you click on the "customize and print" box, you will be able to print your new project or change it later. (See image below).

  • Cursor images are cut off 20%-80% of the height, has been very good in 34

On our Web site, we have a slider with about 10 images that have always worked. Now, users who have installed the update of Firefox to 35.01 cannot see the full images. Instead, some images are cut off 20%-80% of the way down on the cursor, while others are intact and completely visible. Image size/type has no effect.

    Hi sunny.

These calendars are easy to print to HP Photo Creations home. Here's how:

    1. Choose the stand up desk calendars in the calendars menu.
    2. Choose a template or click on Design Your Own.
    3. Click Customize and print
    4. Click the settings button to set the month of departure. (See Tips).
    5. Add your photos and text and then print on 8.5 x 11 or A4 paper.
    6. Fold into a triangle, then tape the edges together. Alternatively, you can make a small cut in the sides of the base to maintain the edges together. This is shown when calendar printing.
