When I check the properties of the E: drive with a new DVD in place, it shows the whole disc in blue and indicates space used 0 and space free 0. MS it difficulty program reports the drive is not recognized as a recordable device.

  I used this drive often in the past to make backups, record music, etc. This who might I be missing or it's time for a new CD/DVD drive?

  I think you should use Nero. :-)

  I never use Windows for this function. Personally, I have had success with Acronis True Image, IMGBurn, CDBurnerXP and Avi2Dvd.

  You can:

  (1) create any Type in position, with overlaps;

  (2) type > Create outlines, at least for the parts that overlap other parts (in some cases, you can keep everything live Type, but not in the case shown because of the shapes of letters and the mutual overlapping (for example, as of the jumps/Over);)

  (3) select each set of letters to overlap other and oppose > compound path > make;

  (4) object > path > offset from the desired gap round forms of the letter;

  (5) select the compound path which is offset and changes color to white, now you should have at least a partial coverage of the letters below.

  (6) object > compound path > exit, then select Direct and remove the counter paths (the one who did the counters/holes in the letters), now you should have one in addition to covering the letters below.

  (7) to get rid of any bit and remaining pieces, you can change the shape of the paths of offset in cutting, removal of parts to support (for example the parts between the serifs) and the displacement of the anchor (to the outside).

  If you want the result on a colored background, you can:

  (8) select the coverage group to the top of letters and the underlying and the transparency palette flyout click do the with unchecked Clip opacity mask and invert the mask ticked.

  Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner
  could help.

  Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always
  issue.

  CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the outside edge
  tolerances of the disks. They may be delivered, but it is usually cheaper to replace
  the reader.

  My dimension 5150 has a SONY CD-RW/DVD CRX330E, it does not seem to recognize the 8cm from my sony handycam DVD, I get the message "insert disk". 8cm discs are not supported by the player? The drive works fine for the standard size DVD.

  I went "brain-dead" and named a DVD disc (the name that appears on your desktop mac when the disc is inserted or appears in my computer on a pc) using "normal" text i.e. upper and lower case with spaces.  This would cause any impact?  The disc plays fine on a mac and a pc and on all my DVD players.

  Because the Sonic authorcore in still has some problems with spaces, I developed the habit of using the underscore character. Now, when it comes OT all caps, I do not see a problem.

  More recent draft had caps and lower case, and he played on all players that have tested it on.

  The best way to do it, is to use the screen, which is already divided into 3 sections, superior, medium and low, of which only half is scrolling.

  The top depends on what you add to setTitle (who may be a Manager), the background is determined by what you add using setStatus (even once, you can add a handler), and just use the normal add to add the scrolling of the Middle component.

• Why do I only a part of the graph of the wave even if I added the whole wave using the shift register?

  You must remove VI begin to break out of the loop...
  You can not 'start' a task that is already running...

  You also remove the VI start completely from your code... If you do not use start VI, a measurement task starts automatically when executing the DAQmx reading VI.
