  Assuming that really format you your hard drive.
  Can erase you every single entry to a file, message, photo, program, document, etc. When you select format you get warnings on this subject.
  The format is the last thing you want to do without going through a backup of your personal and important files.

  Local folders is automatically created when you installed Tbird.
  And it is empty until you move something over there.
  (Your former local folder with all its files and messages has been removed under format).

• All records have selected read-only option, and I am unable to remove it.

  I have a "Lock of all areas" set up button and it took to run only if some fields are filled. The code works fine... except TextField13 does not validate correctly. TextField13 is encapsulated in a subform, titled busjus. The busjus subform is hidden at the disposal of the default form (it becomes visible only when a user selects some text in a drop-down list). I want the code to check if TextField13 is null only if the busjus subform is visible.

  This should be

  partiv.nonflow.busjus.TextField13.rawValue

  so that you compare the text in the field instead of the actual field object.

• all programs and files in the menu start (excpet 4-5) have disappeared.

  I use vista.  When I click on the start menu, there are no programs not listed and when I choose all PROGRAMS there are only 8 folders listed.

  I stopped twice and logged on as user admin and regular with the same results.  All of these programs were here 2 days ago (do not use computer yesterday).

  I can use Explorer to open files on the c drive and the programs open from there without any problem.

  I did a system restore to 4-5 days before I noticed the problem and still had.  To make a long story short, I went 30 days to discover the culprit.

  I had downloaded a spy software called Comodo a month ago.  I care for her so I unistaleld it.  During uninstallation, he deleted my program files on the start menu.  Rather unusual, I think, so I don't have the time to uninstall a 2nd with the same result.

  I removed the Comodo manually and the system is back to normal.

  Here is what I get when I add the delta file to a new virtual machine and the new vmdk. Size in the descriptor of the new vmdk and fixed delta.vmdk, the CID, VMX etc.

  40226760 is correct. The 16777216 is the size of the new empty vmdk.

  All of my emails have disappeared from Thunderbird Inbox. "Sent" and "Trash" messages are OK. I tried to delete the file "Inbox.msf", as some have suggested, then restarted TB, but the mailbox is still empty. My messages are apparently still in the "Inbox" file (under 'profile'), but all the gobblety-gook with loads of codes and numbers. I copy all of this mess, but don't have a clue how it back in my Inbox and make it readable. Can anyone help?
