"Oops, there was a problem"-this copy of Windows 7 is not genuine
I have a legitimate Windows 7 Professional OEM from HP. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, my computer had a message saying that Windows is not genuine, had a counterfeit Windows.
I followed the link online to check: I am me page "Oops, there was a problem. The provided site solutions has been to buy a license of Windows 7 "authentic."
I called Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage number 1-866-530-6599 and said to my problem. I was transferred to another number: 1-800-936-5700. The line has been hung up. I had to call 1-866-xxx number again and explained my case.
To cut a long story (more than 4 hours) short, he had something to do with corrupted data files. Windows tries to protect his 'real' - ness by running a few services to check it out. If it found that it was not the same as expected, windows you are running a counterfeit.
I dug more myself. I found that the %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing\tokens.dat was corrupted.
In my opinion, the software developer wrote a sloppy code that does not cover the corruptions of situations caused by the loss of power. If something was wrong with the 'real' - ness, it be a forger accuse.
Came in here, I did to fix my system:
(1) open Internet Explorer
(2) a browser will open, type:%windir%\system32into the address field
(3) find the cmd.exe file
(4) make a right click on the cmd.exe and select run as administrator
(5) type: net stop sppsvc
(6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
(7) type: Rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
(8) type: cd %windir%\system32
(9) Move7B296FB0-376B-497e-B012-9C450E1B7327-5P-0.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0and

(10) type net start sppsvc
(11) right click computer-> properties and activate
(12) Windows 7 may ask you to enter a product key (use the COA SLP located on the sticker on the side or the bottom of your computer) and activate it. Use activation by phone method
After reactivation, my Windows 7 shows "authentic."
Had the same problem on my asus laptop after about 10 months of use. I can confirm that the validation works after re - enter the serial number and activation. Thanks for that.

This copy of Windows 7 is not genuine
I was in front of my computer all day and when I left for dinner and returned my windows 7 build 7600 was not authentic. But strangely it's... It is a real key to MSDN and is used in conjunction with the MSDN EULA, as well so there is no need to be "banned". He was not traded illegally or the other.
During my first installation of windows 7, I had a problem a month later and I ended up re-formatting my hard drive and all over again. Using the same code. Everything was fine until today. I did some research and discovered there was an almost massive ban on MSDN keys that have been sold. (or suspected of being sold?)
I did everything in the book to try to correct a possibly corrupted file to perform a repair of the system through the terminal, nothing worked. I have not changed any hardware or in the past 6 months.
My Microsoft Office 2007 also uses a key MSDN and authentic sound. Which seemed weird also.
So, how can we work together to achieve this?
And here is my diagnosis!

This copy of windows vista is not genuine
I have a gateway laptop with vista (tm) home premium. . Things on my system are pretty messed up so I did a clean install to fix every thing. It ran good for a while but now its asking to activate windows. I put the activation code in and now it will not accept it. He says now this version of windows is not genuine and gives the 0xcoo4e003 error code. I do not understand why a clean install would do this kind of problems. IM lost what to do now.
So I'm afraid that isn't true.
Since the machine has no COA sticker at all, you will need to purchase a new license for Windows - perhaps, your best bet is to wait until the system shows as non-authentique and then use the option to get real.

How to return to windows update.
You have problems with the real status of your Vista installation - it is what usually causes this error with updates. I don't know why or why it suddenly occurred, but it is the most likely problem, and here is the solution to this problem (if indeed that is the problem):
This solution is courtesy of PA supporter:
1. download and install the WGA Diagnostic tool
http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=560622. after running the WGA Diagnostic tool, click the "Windows" tab and
Then click on 'copy to Clipboard '."3. then, visit the following Web site and create a post in the WGA.
Validation issues Forum"and paste the results of the WGA diagnostic data
in a post in detail:
http://forums.Microsoft.com/genuine/default.aspx?siteid=254. a WGA troubleshooting specialist will analyze the data and recommend a
appropriate solution.I hope this helps.

Service Pack 2 Build 6002: This copy of Windows Vista is not genuine.
Hi, I bought my Dell XPS 420 is about 2 years. April of 2008. But recently I got this error where it asks for an activation code and activate Windows now or later. I also got a black screen as a background, I can't use the internet, I can't use the Windows Update or system restore for that matter.
Many drivers would be stopping itself, like Windows Explorer when I tried to start it...
I also have a blue error screen, where he would say: "a fatal error has occurred", and the computer will turn off automatically. Sometimes, I can't even on the homepage where I would like to connect on...
I use Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium if it matters.
If this was due to the installation of SP2, Microsoft offers free support at: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?prid=13014&gprid=582034&st=1&wfxredirect=1.
I hope this helps.

Windows genuine Message - this copy of Windows 7 is not legal
Despite running a perfectly legal copy of Windows 7 on my laptop for about two years, I have now a message pops up on the screen saying "this copy of Windows 7 is not legal. I know it's legal (it was on the laptop when I bought from PC World and the message appeared just). The laptop still works perfectly ok apart from this message. Any ideas on how to get rid of it (and where it come... I was a virus?...) I use Norton 360).

BIOS valid for OA 2.0: no, table invalid SLIC
For some reason, your computer not reading correctly the table slic. You need to change your product key to the one on your COA
Click Start
Right click on computer
Select Properties
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select change product key
You will then need to activate by phone:
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
Additional information:
Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:
(A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)
(B) COST SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

- If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
- If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

I started Windows 7 Windows 10 and told me that my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine.
* Original title: Windows 10-7
I ran Windows 7 for 2 years without any problem. I have upgraded to Windows 10 but he could not recognize my CD/DVD burner, so I started Windows 7. Now, after about 6 weeks, I am told that my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine. Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks to everyone who responded with helpful advice. I finally solved myself by going back to the shop that originally installed Win7 on my computer. They have removed the "non-genuine" copy that I had run without problem for 2 years and installed a copy of 'authentic '.
Thanks again.

Original title : My computer says my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine. Help?
I got Windows 7 before on my old computer, but I made a new and tried to use the same code and its saying my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine and my only options are to buy a new one, but I can't do it, and I don't see why I should.-J' used Belarc Advisor and key code, it shows me as worth.
Windows product ID: 00371-OEM-8992671-00524
Windows product ID type: 2
Windows license Type: OEM SLP
Your windows is only valid on the computer, it was originally installed on. It cannot be transferred. You can buy a full windows installation on your motherboard retail retail.EDIT: added more information.) SLP OEM: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory.

Copy of Windows 7 is not genuine?
I bought a used laptop from HP 6530 work b before they closed our factory in January 2013. They cleaned the hard drive and installed what I thought was an honest and active Windows 7 OS on it. I have not used the laptop in a few months and I now have a "Windows 7 Build 7600 this copy of Windows is not genuine" error message when if starts. Perhaps they installed a trial of 90 days? Please see the bulletin MGADiag details below. If I purchase a new license, it will be considered an upgrade since the original machine was XP or Vista on it, and it's tough to read the label of product on the lower part of the laptop?
