Copy of Windows 7 is not genuine?

I bought a used laptop from HP 6530 work b before they closed our factory in January 2013.  They cleaned the hard drive and installed what I thought was an honest and active Windows 7 OS on it.  I have not used the laptop in a few months and I now have a "Windows 7 Build 7600 this copy of Windows is not genuine" error message when if starts.  Perhaps they installed a trial of 90 days?  Please see the bulletin MGADiag details below.    If I purchase a new license, it will be considered an upgrade since the original machine was XP or Vista on it, and it's tough to read the label of product on the lower part of the laptop?   Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.    Diagnostic report (1.9.0019.0):-given WGA--> Validation status: Invalid Code of Validation of license: 50 Cached Validation Code: n/a, hr = 0xc004f012 Windows product key: *-* - 788W3 - H689G-6P6GT Windows Product Key hash: yr8OHoeXhbT4dc6MxGYjdAStSPY = Windows product ID: 00371-OEM-8992671-00008 Windows product ID Type: 2 Windows license Type: OEM SLP Windows OS version: 6.1.7600.2.00010100.0.0.048 ID: {63649462-5E5B-44FF-A3BE-9063D686CD40} (1) is Admin : Yes TestCab: 0x0 WGA Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Product Name: Windows 7 Professional Architecture: 0x00000000 Build lab: 7600.win7_gdr.130318 - 1532 TTS Error: Validation diagnostic: resolution state: n/a WgaER data--> ThreatID (s): n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 WGA Notifications data--> cached result : n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 file exists: No. Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 WgaTray.exe signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 WgaLogon.dll signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGA Notifications data--> cached result: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Version: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGAExec.exe signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGAAddin.dll signed by : n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 OGA data--> Office status: 109 N/A OGA Version: n/a, 0 x 80070002 signed by: n/a, hr = 0 x 80070002 Office Diagnostics: data 025D1FF3-364-80041010_025D1FF3-229-80041010_025D1FF3-230-1_025D1FF3-517-80040154_025D1FF3-237-80040154_025D1FF3-238-2_025D1FF3-244-80070002_025D1FF3-258-3 browser--> Proxy settings: n/a User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Win32) default browser: C:\Program Explorer\iexplore.exe may download signed ActiveX controls: fast download unsigned ActiveX controls: disabled run ActiveX controls and plug-ins: allows you to initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe: disabled allow scripting of Internet Explorer Webbrowser control: disabled Active scripting: allowed ActiveX controls recognized safe for scripting : allowed File Scan data--> data--> Office details: {63649462-5E5B-44FF-A3BE-9063D686CD40}1.9.0019.06.1.7600.2.00010100.0.0.048x 32*-*-*-*-6P6GT2S-1-5-21-3266246578-3589212072-3359137686Hewlett-PackardHP Compaq 6530 b (KR982UA #ABA)Hewlett-Packard68PDD worm00371-OEM-8992671-00008. You buy a genuine license.

You use an OEM SLP license.

Your BIOS is dated 2008 so that Windows 7 is released in 2009 later.

  • I started Windows 7 Windows 10 and told me that my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine.

    * Original title: Windows 10-7

I ran Windows 7 for 2 years without any problem. I have upgraded to Windows 10 but he could not recognize my CD/DVD burner, so I started Windows 7. Now, after about 6 weeks, I am told that my copy of Windows 7 is not genuine. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks to everyone who responded with helpful advice. I finally solved myself by going back to the shop that originally installed Win7 on my computer. They have removed the "non-genuine" copy that I had run without problem for 2 years and installed a copy of 'authentic '.

    Thanks again.

Your windows is only valid on the computer, it was originally installed on. It cannot be transferred.
You can buy a full windows installation on your motherboard retail retail.
    EDIT: added more information.

) SLP OEM: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

  • Received a message on my copy of Windows XP is not genuine not. Tried to turn it back on but it does not work.

Discovered my Tech guy that my original copy of Windows XP Professional with SP2 had corrupted files on the CD, so he used a different copy.

I tried to activate and update; the update was very good, but I got the message on a copy of Windowsdid topic does not pass Genuine Windows Validation.

I tried to follow the instructions... while I can reactivate with my product key, but after the procedure:

Click Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools... There is no command "Activate Windows" to do.

    original title: Product Activation

Sounds like a bad copy of windows... I would ask your tech guy how to activate it.  Even if the computer is turned on, she would still have the windows command activate.  It almost seems that it put on an illegal copy.

My screen says that my Windows is not genuine. I bought on Ebay from a seller of confidence earlier so I'll deal with this Afterwords. But I bought another copy of Windows 7 Ultimate edition of Microsoft and has been charged with putting my new code that I just bought on their website and they tell me that it is not authentic. I literally just bought this Microsoft.com, less 30 minutes ago and I have the page my favorites, but they tell me that my code is not authentic. I don't want to contact Microsoft, otherwise I have to spend money, if anyone can tell me what I need to do here?

    Try the phone activation:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  • This copy of windows vista is not genuine

I have a gateway laptop with vista (tm) home premium. . Things on my system are pretty messed up so I did a clean install to fix every thing. It ran good for a while but now its asking to activate windows. I put the activation code in and now it will not accept it. He says now this version of windows is not genuine and gives the 0xcoo4e003 error code. I do not understand why a clean install would do this kind of problems. IM lost what to do now.

So I'm afraid that isn't true.

Since the machine has no COA sticker at all, you will need to purchase a new license for Windows - perhaps, your best bet is to wait until the system shows as non-authentique and then use the option to get real.

  • "Oops, there was a problem"-this copy of Windows 7 is not genuine

I have a legitimate Windows 7 Professional OEM from HP. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, my computer had a message saying that Windows is not genuine, had a counterfeit Windows.

I followed the link online to check: I am me page "Oops, there was a problem. The provided site solutions has been to buy a license of Windows 7 "authentic."

I called Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage number 1-866-530-6599 and said to my problem. I was transferred to another number: 1-800-936-5700. The line has been hung up. I had to call 1-866-xxx number again and explained my case.

To cut a long story (more than 4 hours) short, he had something to do with corrupted data files. Windows tries to protect his 'real' - ness by running a few services to check it out. If it found that it was not the same as expected, windows you are running a counterfeit.

I dug more myself. I found that the %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing\tokens.dat was corrupted.

In my opinion, the software developer wrote a sloppy code that does not cover the corruptions of situations caused by the loss of power. If something was wrong with the 'real' - ness, it be a forger accuse.

Came in here, I did to fix my system:

    (1) open Internet Explorer

    (2) a browser will open, type:%windir%\system32into the address field

    (3) find the cmd.exe file

    (4) make a right click on the cmd.exe and select run as administrator

    (5) type: net stop sppsvc

    (6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing

    (7) type: Rename tokens.dat tokens.bar

    (8) type: cd %windir%\system32

    (9) Move7B296FB0-376B-497e-B012-9C450E1B7327-5P-0.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0and

    (10) type net start sppsvc

    (11) right click computer-> properties and activate

    (12) Windows 7 may ask you to enter a product key (use the COA SLP located on the sticker on the side or the bottom of your computer) and activate it. Use activation by phone method
After reactivation, my Windows 7 shows "authentic."

Had the same problem on my asus laptop after about 10 months of use. I can confirm that the validation works after re - enter the serial number and activation. Thanks for that.

  • Copy of windows 7 is not genuine - build 7601

My HP netbook suddenly started to display this error message on the desktop.

Online technical support says my (authentic) product key is not supported in my country (United Kingdom)
What has changed to make my software is not more authentic?  Google suggests maybe something to do with SP1, but I can't find a coherent solution

Have you tried to restart by phone?

    Hello

This isn't false or any form of malware. This is part of Windows Genuine Advantage, a program by Microsoft to prevent piracy of Windows and bring benefits to those who use properly licensed copies of Windows.

To make it disappear, click it and follow the instructions to validate Windows.

For more information, see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/genuine , the portal of information about the Genuine Windows software and its features and benefits.

  • Activation error: 80070426 (this copy of Windows 7 is not genuine)

How to return to windows update.

You have problems with the real status of your Vista installation - it is what usually causes this error with updates.  I don't know why or why it suddenly occurred, but it is the most likely problem, and here is the solution to this problem (if indeed that is the problem):

This solution is courtesy of PA supporter:

    1. download and install the WGA Diagnostic tool
    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=56062

    2. after running the WGA Diagnostic tool, click the "Windows" tab and
Then click on 'copy to Clipboard '.

"3. then, visit the following Web site and create a post in the WGA.
Validation issues Forum"and paste the results of the WGA diagnostic data
    in a post in detail:
    http://forums.Microsoft.com/genuine/default.aspx?siteid=25

    4. a WGA troubleshooting specialist will analyze the data and recommend a
    appropriate solution.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
