  CUT the address

  With a relationship M:M between the Contact and address of the CUP. On the address IC CUP we have specified the following user of IC at the address properties:

  OPAParent: Contact

  OPARelationship: addressesforthecontact

  On the Contact IC, we have specified the pillar of the user:

  OPAEntity: Contact

  We deployed the IO and exported the Mapping of IO of Siebel. The mapping of IO is imported in OPM without errors, and a module is created using the mapping of IO.

  All forward data seeding of Siebel to OPA, if there is an address record that repeats through numerous contacts, we get the following error in the logs of WD.

  Looks, OPA still thinks there is a relationship between the Contact 1:M and address to cut.

  Someone at - it integrated M:M between Siebel and OPA? Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi Sameer,

  Is the relationship first: contact to cut the address as a 1:M the containment relationships and so shouldn't cut address belong directly to the world title? In this case I think that you must set it's OPAParent to Global.

• OAM and Oracle Portal integration issue

  I have Oracle portal (OAS 10.2.0.3) installed and it worked fine with OAS SSO. I was able to log users in Oracle Internet DIrectory. I also installed Oracle Access manager (10.1.4.0) with Oracle Internet directory. Then I followed Oracle for example "integrating Oracle Access Manager with Oracle signs on and Oracle Portal" (http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/fusion_middleware/im1014/oam-osso-portal/oam-osso-portal.htm) to integrate the OAM and Oracle Portal.
  
  In the last step, after I typed http:// < server.domain >: 7778/pls/portal and click on the login link, I saw the box of challenge based on LDAP (which was good). But after that I have provided the user name and an OID userand password clicked OK, the portal page has not changed at all. It seemed that I logged in, but I couldn't see Builder or portal, or the logout link admin tab. So I couldn't even log on the portal because the logout link was not displayed.

  Hi Georges Nicks.

  I think that the OSSO plugin does not receive user name information correctly. You can add debugging statements in the SSOOblixAuth.java and recompile / redeploy to see if the value is received.

  In addition, the OBE article directs you to add the attribute back to ossouser (with the uid of the user as a value) on the success of the authentication. Can you try to add the same action Expression of authorization on the success of default permission?

• OPA with Siebel integration

  I want to install 10 OPA with Siebel 8.1. Do I need to have a comprehensive set of determinations server engine determinations and web of determinations implemented before installing the connector for Siebel OPA?
  In addition, there's no install.exe in determining server pkg (downloaded from Oracle), how can I install it.

  The server of the determination must be installed as part of the connector. The instructions for doing this are the connector install guide and the installation guide for the OPA Runtime. The server of determination is a WAR of Java file that can be installed on any J2EE application server or a .net Web application that should be deployed to IIS. The simplest option is to start to download Tomcat and deploy the WAR file.

• Siebel OPA Mapping problem

  We have the OPA with Siebel integration as part of our requirement. What we observe is that the value of the attribute of attributes at the basic level have been loaded in meeting tables however high-level Boolean attributes attribute values were not loaded in the tables of the session. When I changed the public name assigned to the attribute to base level with an assigned to the top-level attribute, the value of this attribute of base level has been loaded into the table in the session. Why has this happened? Is he build this way or I make a mistake?

  By "attributes of high level of the page" do you mean inferred attributes? When sending data from Siebel to OPA, only base-level attributes are defined because the other attributes are supposed to be deducted by the modules.

  We do not provide direct tools for integration with databases, but there are two approaches to integration. I guess that we are talking about get data of a database and registration of the results of assays to the database.

  Write a program to use the API engine server or decisions provide for rules.

  With this approach, your program is responsible to get and set the data to the database (via JDBC or Hibernate in Java, for example). OPA provides an API for performs regulation operations and results, that your program needs to save in the database.

  An alternative is to use the server of determinations that provides a SOAP/XML interface to perform operations of regulation and retrieve results, but you will still need to persist/retrieve the answers yourself.

  DataSource connector

  We have a connector of the data source, but it is a bit misnamed. It reads in the CSV (likely exported from a database) files and provides results as CSV files.

  This exact demand will be may not be not required for us, but I need to master the API and do not understand how to connect a name such as documented.  Can I get help with this example?  Also, if I have met other issues or have any other questions, like I just keep using this discussion?  I am not sure of the policy.

  WebCenter Portal: 11.1.1.8

  Oracle ITS: 11.2.2.2

  Oracle Webcenter is integrated with ITS Oracle to provide search results.

  We use taskflow Search-Toolbar and try to customize it to meet our requirements.

  We want to get other keywords for the search queries and score and relevance Score for the results returned by the query, but unfortunately could not find this attribute in the object #{line} which is used by searchResults.jsff.

  We have configured ITS to provide keywords replacing / dictionary for misspelled words and we can see in the console of OOB query provided by Oracle SES.

  In addition, if we use search_client.jar and create a proxy with WSDL URI provided for the operation of "doOracleSimpleSearch", we can get the OracleSeachResult object in our java class that gives replacing keywords and the Score of the search result. But we find not just where to get in our taskflow.

  Kindly help us get these above mentioned attributes in the Search-Toolbar taskflow or SearchResult.jsff (where the results are displayed)

  Hello.

  There are no keywords replacing ITS adapter with the default WebCenter portal integration.

  You may want to consider one of the following approaches:

  • Create a Helper Managed Bean or a data control that executes the query or ask the search API to retrieve the altWords. Include this output in the results of the research task workflow customizations. In addition, you can draw these altWords using the rah: resourceActionBehaviour to repeat the query using the altWord.
  • Create your own page of search results using the search client API. I always try to use this approach from the outset because WebCenter research is too limited for the major customizations.
  • Open a request for a development of Oracle Oracle-SR request.

  Solution 1 requires a high level of skills WebCenter/ADF.

  Solution 2 requires time.

  I'm guessing that your RightNow site requires the transaction state field to set and you are currently does not provide a when you save the incident. Try to create an attribute of text OPA, write a rule that assigns 1 (or a State of transaction value valid), it mapping for the status of transaction on the Incident field and see what happens.

• Integration of the OPA 10.4 with Oracle E-business Suite

  We have a requirement for the integration of the OPA 10.4 with Oracle E - business suite.

  The condition is hypocritical:

  (1) EBS can call rules of the takeover bid on any screen - I think that this will be achieved by Oracle determinations Server (ODS) with probably a middleware between both to facilitate the exchange of webservice.

  Request- I just wanted to know if there is another way to better or if it is only best option?

  Are there examples of projects or pointers that can help us get a better understanding of the present?

  (2) given certain conditions of release in EBS, the modules of the OPA may be invoked, but this time there may be a few involved OPA interview screens.

  Request- How to proceed and achieve this goal?

  Any help on the above queries is really appreciated.

  We look at the possibility of using the organisation wide Desktop Integration Suite... We also are a roll out of Webcenter spaces wide organization.
  
  It is preferable to use FrameworkFolders as his replacement the component folders_g and address the limitations are by folders_g (for example can have a maximum of only 1000 content in a folder, the time loading pages when a folder has no large pieces of content).
