• No opacity slider on cutaway since 10.1.2?

  After the upgrade to 10.1.2 miss me the opacity slider at superposition of 2 mode cutaway collars. Even on two machines - the two OSX El Capitan 10.11.4. Does anyone else have this problem?

  It's strange, that it occurs on several machines. It works fine for me. Select the top clip and click on the blue square in the toolbar displays the opacity slider to the right of the pop-up window where you choose cutaway. You could try running iMovie with the command and option keys and choose Remove preferences. See if that helps.

  So if I change the operator += =, opacity continues to change. I am sure that the problem must be in Firefox, because with IE all kept going even with the operator +=.

  The problem seems to be that the opacity value is not considered to be a float.

  Use them instead:

  fade.style.opacity = fade.style.opacity*1 - 0.1;
  fade.style.opacity = fade.style.opacity*1 + 0.1;
  

  You can opt for document.getElementById ('bland') instead of the identifier for fade to avoid warnings in error Console.

• CSS image opacity fades to black transition

  In December, I created an image of transition with css. During the rollover image is transparency/opacity would go to zero, while the image behind it would show through. It worked, so now (in the last 2 weeks) it turns black, appears to zero opacity, showing the image in and then made another fade from black to the image. In my research to find an answer, I came across this same problem happening on other sites as well. Opera, Chrome and IE (no just transition Exchange images) works correctly.

• somehow, I've changed the shading of the drop down menus. How can I increase the opacity of the menus.

  I was fiddling with the settings and change the opacity of the drop down menus (like when I get a few letters in the browser address window, and a menu drop-down is displayed with suggestions). The drop down menu is now almost transparent - almost impossible to read. How can I change this back?

  Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4 and later versions, and disables hardware acceleration.
  
  Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  Is there a way to fade the opacity of a clip/sequences imposed (flayed) so that the opacity of one side is set to 100% and the other is 0%?  Really hoping that it can be done on FCPX. Help, please.

  Put your element connected with generators > Textures > gradient. (Line up entry points and so that they correspond to the connected element.) Set one color of white, the other black. Organize the way you want to fade the clip with onscreen controls (left-right/top-down/diagonal, etc..) With the selected gradient, go to the Inspector of the video and the value of Compositing > blending Mode > stencil Luma. Select the gradient AND the connected video and make a new Clip Compound (option-G). You should get your melted clip.

  I use Keynote 6.2.2 and I have some text and arrows labelling a detailed photographic image. I want to put a box on an area of the image and fill it with gray at 50% opacity, in order to create a space on which these lines and the text can be read more clearly. The problem I have is that, even if I can create the box and reduce the opacity of the fill color to 50% easily, when I put it behind the text or the arrows it seems to reduce the opacity of them, too, even if they are defined to be in the front of the box. Is there a way in which I can create a background area 50% or more on my image, but retain the text and lines appear on top of it to its maximum intensity?

  Assuming you have done this correctly, the brightness levels of the text will not change in Keynote, you can check with digitalcolor in public services.   IV found using a grey environment to the most useful color less like a text background, I tend to use a matching color to the background or black.

  PPut a clip on top of another in the timeline panel. In the video Inspector reduce the opacity of the clip on top.

  The WPF Brushes class returns shared brushes, which are in a State (read-only) frozen. This avoids a local change to a brush to any other object in the application that happened to use the same brush.

  As described in Freezable Objects Overview, to modify a frozen object simply call the Clone method and together Opacity on the result.

  There never really * not much of a big deal, but... * (where when a window opens the opacity climbs from 14 to 45 to 100% or something) my windows will apear just without the animation no matter what, and then on the appearance of Vista BASIC, then it acts like XP and come up and down with no opacity animation, back to VISTA STANDARD appearance does nothing but return without animation, no nothing.

  I've seen on other computers that they pop up with the opacity. I have windows Basic and do not know if that mattered with the premium with the glass effect, but if I get the upgrade to the premium, I'd get the pop-up animation?

  Windows Vista Home Basic doesn't have the aero inside function. If you upgrade to Home Premium you would have the aero feature provided that your computer has compatible aero graphics card.

• Opacity in ActiveFrame

  Hi all

  I try to add a semi-transparent label (black, white background text) to an active frame, but it's not seent to work in that the label is never transparent.

  I've tried to set label-> opacity (50.0), as the container for the label opacity (50.0), I went to a widget textarea with an opaque/visible background, with no luck.

  Alpha/transparency/opacity could be disabled from the activeframe?

  I guess the problem is that you try to adjust the opacity to 50.0

  try to 0.5

  I know the opacity values in cascades are 1.0 (no transparency) 0.0 (completely transparent)

  I am trying to find a way to reduce the opacity of the mask. I think that I would go to the mask in the layers palette, lower the opacity here. But that lowers the opacity of the layer, not the mask. I tried to find an answer online, but all the get is how to layer masks.

  Is it possible to adjust the opacity of a layer mask? Thank you!

  I recently updated my OS 10.6.8 to 10.11.6.

  I kept Acrobat 9.5, because I like the layout of the tools much better than in later versions.

  However, with the OS later a new problem arises. When I have the displayed property bar and click on a text box or the caption box, all second row tools remain the same size, but the area opacity becomes 10 times larger! The Ribbon containing it increases as well. Even when there is no selection in progress, once the opacity box balls she remains enormous in all work on this pdf.

  This causes the entire page to jump around while I wait for it to settle.

  I know of three other people who have had this problem, so I hope others have found a solution. I have explored removing the opacity box but can't see how to do it. the property bar appears enabled, no customization.

  I guess that you are referring to versions of Mac OS X when you say 10.6.8 and 10.11.6. Acrobat 9 is not supported and is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.11, and it is not surprising that you are facing problems. There is nothing you can do except again downgrade your operating system (or run the old version in a virtual machine, but in this case, you must get the server version of 10.6 - only which can be run in a virtual machine), or upgrade your version of Acrobat Acrobat DC.
